Updated 1-29-2023 increasing from 1 to 5 stars Originally I posted a 1 star review on Google after having commutation problems with the sales staff that left me and my wife feeling taken advantage of. I chose to remove this initial review on my own as it exceeded the maximum number of characters allowed by Google. In short I was sold a bed frame I did not need based on the word of one of the sales staff. Penny the store manager reached out to me today about my initial review. Penny was quick to address all of my concerns and was sincerely apologetic. Penny addressed all of my concerns and cleared up the multiple levels of failure I experienced. Penny was generous enough to refund my bed frame and offer to come pick up my old box spring. Penny's phone call went a long way to make my concerns feel heard, understood and resolved. While I did encounter some setbacks from my initial shopping experience, after talking to Penny I will be giving Mattress Firm another chance the next I need a new mattress. I am now a happy customer sleeping on a very comfortable new mattress. I am getting a better nights sleep and experiencing less back pain. Thank you Penny!

This store is clean and well lit. It feels spacious but has a nice inventory. The sales staff is friendly without being overbearing. Penny is very knowledgeable. I tried to save money by purchasing a rolled-up 8" memory foam mattress from Walmart; it was so soft that I sunk in! My husband and I came in to look at getting a new mattress and frame after our old one gave way. John helped us select the perfect mattress for both of our needs!! He asked us how we normally sleep, any aches and conditions we could share that could be affecting our sleep, and what qualities we were looking for. After that he has us trial some mattresses focusing on how we normally sleep and body alignment and even after we found one that we both liked John had us try some other mattress to make sure we had selected a bed that fit us perfectly. He was never pushy, addressed both of our needs and wants for a new bed, he was there to help us find a good product- not just to make a sale. We had found the mattress we ended up purchasing on our second test run, but we weren't rushed to the register after that, we tried a few other models (ranging in prices- so it wasn't as if we had been pushed towards the most expensive). We had a wonderful experience purchasing here, honestly one of the lowest stress purchases we've made, and we had John's outstanding guidance through the whole process! We would definitely come by again if we were ever in the market for a bed again. Sheryl was also very cheery and kind, she gave us information on sheets and other features our products had. Incredible customer service!! 10/10🌟

Your not sure what you need or want but you want as much as you can get for under the price of a liver transplant. 🤣🤣. And so my story begins...My son needed a new bed for his new home & well he's new to adulting so I agreed to help. I spoke with John (who by the way is AMAZING!!) He took the time helping me feel confident in my purchase! A few months go by we hit a snag and I had to deal with customer service. (Not the best but I've dealt with worse) another few months go by and because it had yet to be resolved I figured It's best to just change foundations. I explained what I was looking for and somehow we got on topic of my previous purchase. Without hesitation Cheryl (now dubbed "THE OUTSTANDING"!) sets me at ease and provides me with EXCEPTIONAL Customer service. She went so above and beyond and that is such non typical thing lately in customer service but in her this is A Typical! behavior! Cheryl was amazing! My wife and 2 boys went to a few mattress and furniture stores locally within Kitsap country. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and were asked a few questions to get a feeling on what we were looking for. Once we had a type of mattress figured out Cheryl showed us what would fit our need. While the wife and I checked out mattress Cheryl entertained my 2 boys as the were “done” mattress shopping. She was not pushy like some of the other stores and did not start off showing us 3-4K dollar mattress. She explained in detail all the sale prices and all the options each bed and base had. We had picked out a similar mattress we liked at another store and wanted to double check some pricing she was total for it, Cheryl was not trying to just make a sale she was really helping us pick the proper mattress in our price point. However we were greeted instantly and assisted by the manager Cheryl. This is the very first brand new matress I've ever bought and I wasn't sure where to start. But the store manager Cheryl who helped us was very informative and had great customer service. She showed us all the different types of mattresses and brands and features and we ended up buying a new mattress set right there. Silent Service No Longer Sleepless in Silverdale Do you know when you find that perfect mattress it’s like magic. For me it was the Purple 3 Hybrid. I loved the mattress but the split-king adjustable bed my submariner husband thought would be perfect was anything but. Every time I rolled over, tried to snuggle, invited the babies in the bed, or to even tried to boom-boom with my hubs—someone ended up in the “crack.” Even worse each Purple Adjustable Base had quit working in less than 10 months from purchase. Purple and Reverie were proving impossible to work and their non-responding/and work arounds were making both my husband and I tired and upset. We were truly “sleepless in Silverdale.” Nobody ever said searching for magic was easy but it should be. . and working with Cheryl and her team’s effort at Target Parking Lot’s Mattress Firm is. Cheryl, her team members, and the District Manager made every possible effort to dry my tears, get my adjustable bases fixed, and exchange the split king for a Single king. The Target Parking Lot’s Mattress Firm’s customer service is unbeatable! There are several on the peninsula but don’t be fooled the one in the Target Parking a lot is the pinnacle in service. Not only did they step in and get my adjustable bases fixed but they worked with us to extend our warranty directly through Mattress Firm! So if the control modules go faulty again I’m protected, and no more dealing with Purple and their manufacturer. Now my husband and I are sleepless no longer. We are enjoying a new bed on working bases and it is magic. So we would like to say a special thank you to Cheryl and her wonderful team for making our limited nights at home together even more magical than they were before.

We have bought not one but TWO beds from this store, and although the customer service inside the store was great, the delivery service was NOT. BOTH times that our mattress was supposed to be delivered, each 16 months apart, the delivery date was pushed back. Today, I stayed home to wait for the delivery truck, this date having been moved from last week. The 2 hour window came and went, and no truck. I finally called the store to learn they had gone to the wrong house. Did they try to call one of the TWO phone numbers we provided the dispatch? Nope. They apparently just went to the wrong house, knocked on the door, and left once they got no answer. No attempts to even call the customer. This is HORRIBLE customer service. Even the pizza guy calls if he gets lost, never mind a bed you just paid thousands of dollars for! Mattress Firm would do better to go with a different deliver company that cares about its customers as much as they do, as this issue makes me less likely to recommend them to friends.
