He was funny, very kind, knowledgeable, and answered every single question with ease ("even though he hadn't been with the company for very long", not that we could tell at all throughout our interaction!) I went to Mattress Firm to look for a replacement for my 10 year old mattress. There were so many mattresses available and they were costly, but Joe asked questions about my typical sleep habits and had me try about six different ones. I was in the market for a new mattress and did some searching to find that this Mattress Firm location seems to be the best option for my greater Port Orchard area. I saw a lot of very positive reviews for Tommy, so, I went in to store today. Sure enough, Tommy was there and did an awesome, professional job. He helped me find exactly what I believe to work best for me and did some digging to find a 40% off deal which saved me a lot! Disappointed in the automated way I had to finish my purchase and get a delivery time. The salesperson in the store was beyond wonderful, but I found out on the actual day of delivery when they would come. I received a text, email and voice message AFTER I had made the drive to the delivery location an hour away because I had no idea if delivery time and didn’t want to miss them.

We wanted to upgrade from a queen bed to king bed, purely for the size, but we weren't sure where to start. Robert was extremely knowledgeable, patient and not a pushy salesman at all. He even gave our two toddlers some trinkets to take home and to keep them busy while we talked shop. We ended up buying a new mattress on the spot for a great deal. Very happy with our purchase.

My experience here at this mattress firm was excellent. Don was very friendly, not pushy, and excellent when it came to helping us out. We came in for a box spring for my daughters twin bed, and Don was able to give us a few options, actually improving our initial plan. I will definitely be coming back here when we are ready for our new mattress! Update: I have come back in for another frame for a full mattress. I have been interested the the purple mattress for quite some time. I have looked many times and have come very close each time. On this trip I met Bobby Goldsmith. He did a fantastic job of showing me exactly what I was asking for. While he did work to sell me more than I walked in for, he gave me exactly what I needed. I am thankful I decided to walk in today and ask the question. And am very excited to have sleep my first night in my new bed! Thanks Bobby!

When we first arrived at the Gig Harbor Mattress firm off Borgen, we were greeted by Bobby. He was extremely helpful and patient. It was a great experience! Bobby really listened to what we were looking for out of our mattress, and we believe that we took home the perfect mattress for us. While we were there, Bobby also ensured our sanitary needs were met during these covid times! Customer visits are currently by appointment only, which made it a very comfortable experience. Bobby was able to concentrate and focus on us and our needs without any distractions of other customers. Excellent overall experience and will defiantly be referring family and friends!

My husband and I wanted to get a new Purple mattress. We came into the store and were greeted by Christine (sorry if spelled incorrectly). She was friendly, polite, and courteous throughout the entire viewing. We looked at all of the Purple mattresses out on display, trying each one and seeing what we liked best. We settled on the Purple Hybrid Premier 4". Christine walked us over to their "checkout area", and we started discussing what to do in terms of payment and what we wanted. My husband was set on getting a power base, so we discussed that as well. Christine then gave the option of purchasing through "outlet", and from what I understand, they are products that were on display sold at a discounted price. We thought that would be great, and decided to go that route. Unfortunately there was no Purple mattress in outlet, but she assured us that she would check everyday and call us as soon as one became available. The power base came the next day, and the delivery drivers were great. It functioned well, and was in great condition. There was some sticky residue on the remote that easily came off with some Goo Gone. We waited about a week or so before Christine called us back to let us know that there was a mattress in stock! We got it delivered a few days later by Alex and Luis who were great. I cannot express how satisfied I am with everything from purchase to delivery, and we got everything at about half off from purchasing it from outlet. If I could I would give 10 stars! I had very friendly staff both times that I came in, and even though they were busy with someone when I came they made sure they greeted me within minutes and showed concern about me waiting at all. My first time in was to look at prices and see if they had options to work with me. My second time was to actually see if I could get approved for anything because of my bad credit. Not only will I have a nice mattress delivered but 2 really good pillows, new sheets, and a waterproof cover. Excellent service and Eddie was very friendly.

Just bought our daughter a new queen bed from here yesterday. They were having their Memorial Day sale. Queen for the price of a twin. The service was awesome, we were helped by a fella named Don. He was great, very helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The best part about the whole thing is that is was delivered to my house and set up today! We bought it last night! Fast delivery. Delivery guys were only here about 10 minutes. All in all a great experience. Also, they have finacing, and according to a poster I saw in the store, no credit needed. Great place all around. We visited MF to try the Purple brand memory mattress. Recent shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff had made side sleeping difficult ... sometimes painful. Sleep quality was poor and our hope was that memory foam type softness may cradle me better on my side. The salesperson, Christina Taylor, was extremely helpful and insightful. She observed my sleeping postures and movements and advised us how we might best meet our needs. We went from a reconnaissance type shopping visit to making a purchase of the Purple3 Hybrid Premier King size mattress plus adjustable base and additional items such as sheets and Harmony pillows. Very nice. And expensive. But we walked away feeling good that we learned a lot via this experience and probably made a better informed choice than we first anticipated. Kudos to Christina.

We just purchased a mattress from Gabe at this location. He and his colleagues Shona and Ryema were very friendly and helpful. We were looking to try something new as our 5 year old memory foam mattress just wasn't doing it for us anymore. Gabe showed us different models as our children played in their play area. My husband and I went into the store and there was only one person working, so we had to wait awhile to be attended to since he was tied up with another customer. This gave us a chance to look over all the mattresses and was actually not too bad. When he was freed up, we had come down to a few options. I told him my budget (which I low-balled) and he actually stuck to it, which I extremely admire. We told him our actual budget and he helped us find a great mattress which we are still working in but has worked wonders for my sleep! I suppose my only criticism is that when we checked out, I was not quite aware that the credit check for financing would enroll me for a credit card. I already have one I could have paid with! Overall though, pretty nice to have a mattress that helps my back and my sleep.

Shopping for a mattress is not high on our list of fun things to do. We did not want a pure memory foam mattress - we probably would have tried the new internet companies (Leesa, Casper) people are raving about for one of those. So off to the mattress store we went. Overall, not as bad as an experience as it could have been. PROS: - Kyema (our saleswoman) was very professional, knowledgeable, and did not try to steer us towards an "upsell." 5 stars for her work. I have been in other Mattress Firm stores around the country and I would often get a "used car salesman" vibe -- not here. She also knew her competition and explained the benefits of Mattress Firm's products and policies. - Delivery: Delivered the next day, on time - to the minute. - Return Policy: As explained, it's better than furniture stores or other mattress stores. Hopefully won't have to use it! CONS: - Some of what are clearly their standard procedures are a little disingenuous -- I don't blame the sales staff, just some things to be aware of when you go in: -- When you get a quote, it automatically came up with the extended warranty on the adjustable base and an expensive mattress cover. We didn't ask for either. If you don't get the mattress cover, Mattress Firm won't cover the mattress for stains/fluid damage. Go over your quote carefully. - Watch for sales. We received a quote and we almost ready to purchase when a sale popped up -- saved us a couple of hundred dollars. We did not get a call from them informing us we could save more money -- that would have been impressive. Figure out what you want and then wait for a sale. - This is not technically Mattress Firm's problem, but their delivery company is probably committing OSHA violations. Our poor delivery guys had to take a 200 lb adjustable base upstairs. They did not have belts or lifting straps. I had to jump in to help. Adjustable bases come as a solid unit. If you have funky stairs actually getting them into your bedroom may be a problem.
