Lyn LehrerWe went to this store looking for a vegan mattress that would be good for my tired back. We were treated with the greatest respect. Greeted upon entry and even offered a beverage. We ended up purchasing a vegan mattress and detachable topper. They said it would be delivered in 1 to 2 weeks which is perfect! Taj was our salesperson and was extremely helpful. Store was clean and well laid out. They even carry dog beds. Can't wait to try my Avacado mattress at home.
Update: Mattress was delivered on time, box was damaged by delivery service but mattress was not not. It is a 2 person job to set it up as it is very heavy. The mattress had no chemical smell upon opening. Instead it smelled more like clean cotton sheets,which I absolutely loved. We also ordered the organic organic mattress protector. We have pets that sleep with us so I think this was a wise purchase. It was not crinkly like some mattress protectors.
I love this mattress. It is a little firmer than my last mattress but seems to be better for my back. I also love the idea that I am not sleeping on a chemical ridden material. I would definitely recommend Avocado mattresses. The entire experience was wonderful, now only if they sold cars.....
Elizabeth BraggMy partner and I wanted to try out the Avocado Mattresses before we make a purchase and we were incredibly impressed with the staff and store. The folks running the store were informative and generous with their time and knowledge-- they gave us space to try all the mattresses and came over whenever we had a question-- never pushy and always kind. When we were done someone cleaned all the mattresses after us-- it was all very clean and cozy. We will buy an Avocado Mattress after that experience.
Amanda RhodesI bought the vegan mattress in May 2021 and I'm leaving this review 1.5 years on. All the natural organic vegan wonderfulness of course is why they got what they did. We went from a 4 soft bed to a 7. My lower back pain is gone. We had tried to sleep a few nights on it without a topper and really couldn't. So we put an old 2 inch memory foam topper on and still the bed is too firm to sleep on our sides. My husband is slim and I'm curvy and it's not good for either of us, but when I sleep on my stomach or back it's great. There are some distinct indents into the mattress now where each of us sleep, so I'm wondering about the durability hype. We'll stick it out for now.

I had a question and was lucky enough to have an employee help me after hours online. Kiana was informative, kind and incredibly helpful. Her exceptional customer service is what helped us decide to go with Avocado for our organic sheets. I'll update this review once we try out the sheets, so excited!
Mandy LandaLove the mattress!!! But we had a terrible experience with the installation. They installed the bed frame upside down. No response to my texts to the delivery service. No response to my emails. No response when I DM’d on Twitter. I finally got someone in the phone who set up an appointment to fix it. Then, when they were supposed to show up, they rescheduled for Sunday at 8am (our only day to sleep in). My husband got out the tools and fixed it himself. Super frustrating - especially the lack of responsiveness.

WesleyThis place definitely seemed a bit fancy for me, but they seem like a great investment for a good eco friendly mattress. Xander was incredibly nice and helpful, and never made me feel pressured to get anything immediately. They walked me through all the different models of mattresses and showed me through the website in case I was ready to invest later. Just a huge help in general and very informative. I ended up getting a king size pillow for now (I sleep better on it than I ever did with any Walmart or Casper pillow) and will definitely go back for a mattress when I’m ready.
