We went through all of the inventory on the floor and our salesperson, Spencer, had the most patience and even more experience. When we asked any question, there was data at his fingertips to answer all of our questions. Plus, he was a customer, not only an employee, and told us about his personal experience with several models as he upgraded through the years. There's also a 100 day exchange policy without penalty, which allows for a buffer for your buying decision. They only stock the highest quality. We had multiple beds in a box, and although they were very good over the years, what Mattress FIRM sells is much higher in quality.

Larry, my sales guy, seemed more straightforward than the people at the previous two mattress stores I visited that day. It is hard to know if my purchase was a good deal but it at least seemed like a slightly better experience than other places. The whole process seems shrouded in mystery in regard to whether you’re getting a decent product at a fair price.

We knew what we wanted from doing our own research and the sales associate Michael was very helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Experience was very easy. Just one reason why I wouldn’t rate 5star….the online deal was $200 less than the deal that we were given in store. When I showed Michael the price listed on MATTRESS FIRMS actual website he couldn’t/wouldn’t match it and said he couldn’t offer that discount. If we weren’t strapped for time and already planned to purchase and take home a mattress that day we would have waited and purchased through the online offered price for $200 less.

Went in to buy the new Purple Pillows because they had a sale on them. They didn’t have them in stock at the store but they said we could pick them up at their distribution center by PDX. I get it that supply chain issues are impacting all businesses right now so I didn’t think it was worth deducting a star for. The salesperson was nice, the store was clean, and we were still able to get a pillow the same day and with a discount.

Larry is magic! Little did I know that just popping into a mattress store would not only result with the most magical sleep I’ve had in years, but the owner Larry, who helped me try out different mattresses and find the perfect fit, would make the experience so much fun! He was not only very informative, but had such a wonderful positive attitude. He also got me the best deal possible on my mattress and I even ended up getting one of those adjustable bed frames so I could learn to really be a back sleeper and help heal my shoulders. The whole process was really fun and I was bouncing around on half the mattresses trying them out. Never would I have imagined doing such a spontaneous adult thing like getting a new bed, but having had it for two weeks now, I really couldn’t be happier. I had an old coil mattress that was ‘fine’, but now with my new hybrid memory foam it’s like sleeping on a cloud and I wake up alert and rested, rather than dreamy and keep hitting snooze (although I do stay in bed more just because it’s so comfortable!). Anyway I’m so glad I walked in and got helped by Larry and would recommend checking this store out in particular. Boy has mattress technology come a long way in recent years!

Lauren was my sales representative and she was a delight to work with. Very knowledgeable and really wanted to find me the mattress that was right for me. She was very patient while I spent over an hour trying nearly every mattress in the store. And at the end of the day I ended up going with the brand she started me on, so her intuition and recommendation was spot on! The store has many different options to try, from the popular online brands like Purple and Intellibed, to the well known "traditional" brands like Sealy and Beauty Rest. If you're going to spend a few thousand dollars on a mattress, it is worth it to try them all out first. I was going to order a Purple mattress online without trying it, but I am so glad I made the choice to go into the store and see for myself what it was like. Definitely not for me!! I ended up going with the Beauty Rest Beyond Plush pillow top mattress. Something I never would have expected to like, as I always thought I preferred a firmer feel. But after comparing them all, that mattress was the most comfortable thing I have ever put my body on.

Spencer helped me exchange the mattress I purchased on Mattress Firm’ website, because the one we bought just wasn’t working after a month and a half. He was able to help me find the right Purple mattress for us based on any issues we may have (back problems, restless throughout the night, etc) and had me in and out all within my lunch break! Lesson learned, skip the online mattress purchases and just go into the Janzten Beach location! Seriously couldn’t be happier.

I'm new to the area and I was looking for a new bed. Roger is a rock star! He treated my mom and little sister so warmly and I never felt pressured to buy anything. He gave me solid information, let me try different mattresses, worked with me in my price range and never made me feel like because I wanted a more affordable mattress, that was a bad decision. Pickup was smooth, I was able to pickup the mattress there at the location and he alerted me when it was ready. After I had been looking so long for a mattress, Roger really did a great job. I'm happy with my bed and it has been sleeping great. My first time shopping at a Mattress Firm and I think I will be going back if and when I'm in the market for another bed.

I almost went to the "other mattress store" at Jantzen Beach, and for some reason I went to Mattress Firm instead. I'm really glad I did. Gabby helped me choose a new mattress to replace my old mattress: I've been sleeping a lot better since it arrived. He knows his product line, and it was a completely no-pressure event. So at first the leasing agency app they use would not allow me to access my payment plan but after finally getting ahold of them I was allowed to set up the payments I needed and things were great. As for the service at the store, it was 100%.. they will explain everything for you and show you the different ways to sleep on each bed that benefit the person based on that matress.. I went in looking for memory foam but left with a firm matress with a adjustable base. Did cost a bit more but it wasn't forced or pushed in any way.. after being shown the ropes and testing out some of the beds and answering questions about sleeping patterns we came to this choice being better. The matress is great, durable, and we are happy.. good job guys!

Really good service. I didn’t feel like the sales team was pushy. There wasn’t really a high pressure tactic used like at some other stores. Of course, they tried to do the add ons. Overall I would rate the service as great. Selection is good. I came in having been to several places and having done research, but with a little prompting they guided me to something I hadn’t been considering. When I chose to leave and do more research, there was no sales tactic to keep me there. Prices are on par with the other places I went to. They didn’t have pillows bundled in. They even have a program where you can save 5% if you waive your 120 day trial period. Definitely a place you should visit if buying a mattress. Ask for Lauren.

The service at the store was absolutely wonderful...Lary was friendly and professional and at no point did I feel like there was any pressure from him to buy. He definitely deserves 5 stars... but the delivery service to Vancouver was at most 1 star at the absolute best. They were very timely which is the reason for the one star but it wasn't until I was putting the sheets on the bed hours later that I noticed that there were several scratches and one very noticable gouge in our wood bed frame from when they took the old full size boxspring out as well as one long scratch on our laminate floor in the entry way from when only one person was dragging it out. They also charged me an additional $20 more than was quoted to me for a mattress removal fee and I was then told that they were planning to sell our old mattress online. And to top things off they did not even bother to wear masks at any point during the delivery while in our home. We will definitely buy a mattress again from this location, but we will without a doubt have to request another moving company if not arrange to move it ourselves.

I had been shopping for mattresses for a while now and just happened to drop into Mattress Firm because it was near several other mattress stores. I've shopped at mattress firm in the past along with several other major name stores ( BUT THEY AINT GOT NO REVIEW FROM ME!) and was reluctant to return because of the uninformative stand-offish customer service I've recieved. I honestly was just going to use them as a comparison, but what I got was my needle in the haystack. On first glance I walked in to see a man in a very boisterous jacket finishing with a guest, and an eagerly approaching salesman. I was greeted and welcomed into the store, me trying to only gather some minimal info, and was immediately catered too. He started off by asking what brought me in. I let him know that i was just lookin around and that we had just moved to the area. he asked about some general sleeping habits. This man saw an opportunity to put in effort to someone and didnt just jump at the moment, he made my buying experience. The next thing he did changed my game. We had been talking about the beds and he had made what seemed to be a list of ones to try. This mans hot fresh lunch came in like an oasis in the desert, and this man didnt bat an eye. I know in my head I would have broke focus for sure, and ontop of that we talked for what seemed to be an hour after his food arrived. This man literally looked after my needs and was getting into serious detail about sleep health and how this bed could be my solution to my on going sleep issues. I even tried to get him to eat and I swear he has more patience than the guys who guard the queen of England. The most important aspect of the whole ordeal, was I felt comfortable enough to want to trust these two with my hard earned efforts. Its something that I feel a lot of employees in sales realize is that yes im coming to you to purchase an item with money, but most dont even take the time to realize how hard some of us work to get that, these two hospitable salesmen made me feel catered too. Spencer and Larry are literally the best sales team I have ever done business with. I honestly wanted to quit my job and work with these two!!! Thank you both for who you are and the way you do it!

Not gonna lie, before walking into the store I made a comment to my husband about jumping into the shark tank. We both have retail sales experience, and I just knew the moment we walked in three other sales people, besides the two at the desk, were going to attack from the back office. But truthfully our experience was nothing like that! We worked with Regine who was just lovely (Joseph was also working and was equally as pleasant). Regine asked if we would like her assistance in selecting a mattress and we went from there. We had our almost three year old in tow and Regine was playful and interactive with her. She was honest and didnt try to keep pushing us towards the newest technology/most expensive after we tried them out. In the end we decided to go ahead with a purchase since we found something we liked, the free base offer (that can be upgraded for additional $), 0% interest financing, and Regine had been so helpful! I definitely recommend anyone going in to talk with Regine and Joseph if they are in the market for a new mattress!

Roger gave us impeccable service this morning. He gave us a lot of helpful info about the metal bed frame we bought and was friendly. The guy who helped us at the warehouse was great too. Side note that has nothing to do with the customer service: if you're looking for a high quality well-made metal bed frame, look elsewhere. This thing came scuffed up because all of the pieces were in the carton without any kind of packing material to prevent scuffing. Now that we put it together, the head board attachment pieces aren't level, and the connection points are loose and noisy, even though we opted for the strongest of the three options. We'll rig it and make due. Customer service is fantastic but the company buyer should make better decisions about what products to carry.

I am pleased to say that I am so satisfied with my resent purchase of a Sterns and Foster Hurston Luxury Firm and a Tempur-Pedic ERGO split adjustable base. The split was more expensive but necessary to go up a small staircase. I received hundreds of dollars in discounts on both the mattress and adjustable frame. Gabby had me test most all the similar beds and helped me decide on the perfect one according to my sleep position habits. I did not know that there was so much to consider in buying a mattress. He was able to keep me within my budget and get a very good mattress which will have a good longevity. (Good quality) I highly recommend getting something in the mid range for quality and affordability. You get more bells and whistles at the top of the line like an adjustable frame that is controlled by a phone app. Mine only has USB outlets built in and a three setting massage. Who even new they had massage? The adjustable frame can also adjust the neutral position height which makes it easier to get in and out of bed. I have many nights of better sleep coming my way thanks to Gabby and the Jantzen Beach Mattress Firm in Portland, Oregon. Thanks Gabby, keep up the good work! One week later my rest is still improving. My mother just got her mattress and frame last week and would like to say - Gabby: Mom says "Nailed It!". She even programmed her own personal settings on the Mattress Firm 600 adjustable Frame. The Sterns and Foster Medium Firm mattress was the right choice. The frosting on the cake was the Malouf sheets, mattress cover, and pillows. She also would like to say that it is not just an enjoyable night sleep, but that it is great for afternoon naps.
