Good as you could imagine as far as mattress shopping goes. This was my first time buying a fancy mattress. I do not like shopping. I own a business and deal with sales and production so generally speaking people trying to sell me stuff drives me mad. Im respectful about it and receptive but still can usually see through the “selling to hard.” However Anthony is a pro, broke it down for us in a professional fashion that was informative and not overbearing. Boom, questions answered and decisions made delivery made days later on time. Im sleeping well again on my new bed. Thank you.

We were looking for a king size bed and were met at the store by Vincent. Vincent gave us several options for beds in our price range. After selecting a bed, Vincent gave us options for the base. After selecting everything we needed we had the bed delivered two days later. The guys that delivered the bed had it in and set up in ten minutes. Great experience!!.

I have purchased a Firm Tempurpedic mattress after trialing it at the store location. Shane was helpful in directing me towards what I explained I was looking for and the delivery process was seamless. I also ordered an adjustable frame which I felt was a luxury but now realize has become incredibly beneficial to the swelling I get in my legs from working 12 hours as a nurse. The zero gravity helps immensely. I had the firm mattress for about a month when I realized that I would prefer a bit softer experience. The exchange process has been extremely easy and Zak has been very easy to work with. I am satisfied with my decision to exchange and feel confident the new medium mattress will better suit my comfort needs. Thankful for the help and accommodation and will recommend Mattress Firm in the future.

I have to say hands down best experience buying a bed that I have had! Vincent was an amazing person to work with as he had great customer service from right when we stepped in the door. We have a four year old and of course he was gonna wanna check the beds out too and Vincent was so understanding of that it was nice. I also was given a lot of great information and pointed in the direction I wanted to go and that is great because I didn’t feel at all pressured. Not only did I get a lot of good info I also got a great deal on a king mattress, pillows, sheets, a nice down comforter, and bed cover 2 bed covers which was great bc this really was a one stop shop! Now I only have to wait one day to get all this delivered and I couldn’t be more satisfied and money still left in my pocket alot more then what I thought too! Evan from Mattress Firm was very helpful given that I am not a local to Portland but needed to purchase two mattresses asap that day for my son and daughter and have them take the mattresses home the same day. Evan was able to get me exactly what I needed and my son and daughter were able to sleep a good night's rest that very night. I did the entire transaction on the phone and online - again all thanks to Evan and the tools in place the Mattress Firm has to make these remote and immediate transactions happen. Not to mention the good prices and selection of in-stock mattresses. I'll give my business to them in the future and when my son and daughter who live in the Portland area need a mattress in the future, I'll send them to the Mattress Firm. Vincent Astorino was a great help to us at the Broadway location in helping us select the right mattress!! The last mattress we purchased was more than a decade ago and there is a lot to know and consider when making a selection. We had no idea! Fortunately for us, Vincent was knowledgeable and patient answering our questions and letting us try out the mattresses. He pointed out the differences we would feel and experience with each option. We went in knowing we wanted a comfortable bed that support a good nights rest but we didn't know how much that would cost. Vincent showed us mattresses at several price points and assured us we could find something to meet our needs within a variety of price points. After a week on our new mattress, we are sleeping sound and quite happy with our choice. I appreciate Vincent's friendly, knowledgeable service and help in finding the right mattress!!

I’m really regretful of the way I let myself get sold my $2K+ bed set. They initially gave me a quote for the wrong mattress so my expectations were thrown off when we finally realized we weren’t talking about the same mattress. The one I wanted was more money imagine that.. I felt forced to settle. I was then talked into buying from the outlet instead and I’m super bummed because I don’t love my mattress and the warranty process is awful/I keep getting denied for my claims. Definitely can see how buying here direct would’ve been an amazing, seamless experience, but not being able to return something & facing warranty issues is something that has really tainted my experience and I wish I had known more about the details when I purchased.

I spent a few hours in the store today being helped by Shane and he was absolutely wonderful. He gave me attentive and personal attention and the most comprehensive run down on beds, from sleep science to design history to personal experience. He is an encyclopedia of everything bed related. I wish I could have left him a tip! He was wearing a mask and respecting social distancing and there were hardly any others in the store. I saved something like $350 at least, got a free adjustable frame, and was able to get next day delivery. 10/10 would go back and see Shane again.

Thank you! An glowing addendum: When my clearance non-returnable adjustable bed base was delivered, there was a significant problem with one of the legs. I called the store to bring the issue to Zak's attention and he was on it. He researched solutions and came up with two options for me of which I found one to be thoroughly acceptable. I have always been of the opinion that the best recommendation for a business is not necessarily when everything goes without a hitch but when there are issues that are addressed quickly and resolved smoothly. Thank you Zak. You definitely went above and beyond!

My son needed a full bed in a hurry. We had a choice of Bed Mart, Mattress Firm and Mattress World within three blocks of each other. Mattress Firm was the only one open until 8:00, and when we walked in at 7:00, Shane was FANTASTIC! We had a limited budget, and between the sale, the opened but not used discount and the 5% discount for waiving our right to return the bed within four months, we made it out with a high quality mattress for under our $400 budget! I highly recommend this place, certainly for price and selection of budget mattresses, but mostly because Shane was the BEST! He made a drudgery errand fun. Thanks!

My current mattress is 5 years old, creaks when I inhale/exhale, and is a full size, yet my cat acts like it’s a king. Yesterday I went to the NE Portland Mattress Firm location and told Shane how much I wanted to spend, the size, and when I needed it. He showed me three options and I was able to easily choose my favorite. He made sure the remaining items I needed (frame, box spring, delivery, haul away) fit my budget and got everything ready to be delivered within my time frame. When I noticed a small error on my order, Shane fixed it immediately despite having to cover for a no-show opener and having a frantic afternoon. I expected the update to my order might delay it by a day, which would have been ok, but I just got confirmation that I will still receive everything as originally planned. Super pleased with everything so far! Can’t wait to get my new bed! Updating now that I’ve actually slept on the thing! I love it! The cat loves it! Seriously, she gets mad when I take too long changing the sheets. I feel like I’m in a hotel every night (in a good way). So glad I went here for my new mattress.

This experience was religious. I was up til 4 am putting together a horrible metal bed from IKea. You guys— DO NOT BUY a metal frame from IKEA. Especially when you have folks like the ones at the Broadway Mattress Firm. I walked in one-eyed and exhausted, having little hope for my future sleep. They found me exactly what I needed in the back at an amazing price, and were extremely friendly and intelligent. I cannot recommend this place enough. Shane Tanner is the kind of sales person I appreciate....especially knowing exactly what I want. He approached me within a minute of entering the store. I asked if they sold Tulo mattresses....and he took me right to them. I tried a medium, then firm mattress and preferred the firm. He did inquire if I slept on my back, stomach or side. Since I sleep on my side, he asked if my current firm mattress caused me any discomfort. Some friends recently researched and purchased a Tulo from Matress Firm, so that’s the main reason I chose this store. He then told me about two current deals being offered.....mattresses are being sold as if they were the smaller size. I purchased a queen for the price of a twin. Also, there was a deal for a free adjustable base if I spent a certain amount.....which was about $100 more. I tried out the base and liked it. That was a $500 value. Finally he confirmed delivery date and told me he would follow up the night before. He said my old matress would be taken away if I want. Also, he said that the new adjustable base might fit with my current sleigh type bed if I take the slats and reinforcement bars. He reviewed both the 120 night sleep trial and 120 night low price guarantee. Since I knew exactly what I wanted, the transaction did not take long. I appreciate Shane not trying to persuade me to look at other mattresses.

Hi, My family bought a mattress about 6 months ago. We exchanged the first one hoping springs might give just an added “something else” even though we were happy.it didn’t. It was worse, so we went back to the original mattress we purchased. We’ve only had this mattress for the most, 2 months. As I was washing my sheets I noticed the top of the bed where my pillow is has a tear a few inches long. We have always had the bed protector on it. I think it happened when we were told to walk on it to break in the top hard cover area . Or something like that. This is the first time that we’ve washed our sheets with this mattress. I realize that you hear every story in the book. All that I can do is be honest and hope you’ll help.
