Upon entering the store, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. The salesman’s name was Gabby and he did everything right. He was friendly and not pushy. He got to know us and our need. We were shopping for my 86 year old father-in-law who has special needs. He was shopping with us and Gabby took an interest in him right away. He introduced him to many different options. It was difficult to choose because of the variety. Gabby’s patience and the space he gave us to make a decision was much appreciated. Gabby was an amazing salesman from the start. The sale of our bed and frame went smoothly and quickly. We received everything installed at the house the day after and we were pleased with the service. I laid down on the bed and realized I had ordered a king instead of a cali king and instantly freaked out and got ahold of him to see what we could do. Gabby worked with management to work a return and get us exactly what we wanted and was in contact with us during the whole process of the return and new delivery and setup for our new bed. I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience at Mattress Firm in Vancouver (near tech center drive). My partner and I were fortunate to work with the amazing sleep specialist Gabby who walked us through all of the important considerations when purchasing a mattress. He really understood what we were looking for and was very attentive to our budget/needs. We must have spent two hours in the store and he was so patient, professional, and kind the entire time, with every question that came up. When it came time for delivery a week later, their delivery team was spectacular!! We came in on a weekday evening in order to find an adjustable bed, mainly for my husbands needs after cancer surgery for his esophagus. We knew nothing about what we wanted, or what we needed when it came to these types of beds & mattresses. We were greeted by Jeremy right as we came in. We told him what our needs were, and he took us right away to some floor samples. Jeremy was the perfect amount of funny, informative, and honest when it came to his suggestions. He never felt pushy and always quietly stepped away when we discussed between ourselves what we liked and didn't like. As both my husband and I are career salesmen, I really appreciated how good he was at 'reading the room.' What I thought was going to be a painful process, ended up being quite easy & enjoyable. We left with an order for our new bed, and a good feeling about our choice. Want to thank Jeremy and the staff at Mattress Firm, can't wait to get our new bed!

I went to mattress firm on Mill plain and TJ helped me find a queen bed for our guestroom that could be delivered the same day. I needed a bed for family coming into town, so I stopped by in the afternoon, tried 4-5 mattresses that were in stock and close to my budgeted price. I had one delivered a few hours later. The third-party delivery service did a great job setting up the bed and we had everything ready by that evening. (The third-party delivery service was an additional charge, but they provided same day delivery. Mattress Firm would’ve been able to deliver the bed at no additional charge in 2 days). The purchase included a free adjustable base which allows the head to adjust up-and-down. The entire process was effortless. We have purchased many mattresses from Mattress Firm and we’ll be back when need arises again.

Went to this store about 2 weeks ago and first met Gabby. He was very helpful in helping us select a mattress. The one we selected was so comfortable in the store that we didn't want to get up. We waited until the next to purchase it and an adjustable base. Delivery took place about 4 days later. The bed is SO comfortable that both my wife and I have been sleeping so much better. I don't wake up sore anymore! If you go there, ask for Gabby, he is awesome!

So far so... great! I mean we haven't gotten our bed or adjustable frame yet so I'll update when that happens. But working with Jeremy R at the 162nd location was great! I didn't feel pressured and he's very knowledgeable. Update: Received our bed and it was installed professionally and swiftly. There was great communication between the delivery/installers and they arrived at the expected time. We had mattress firm remove our old set, and this to went very well. They were communicative and came at the expected time. Over all this was a great experience. Something to note; the delivery/ removal service workers may arrive in "sketchy" looking vans. Ours had been "tagged" with spray paint. They were nice people, but being a woman home alone, I made sure the old mattress was in the garage and I exercised usual precautions when interacting with service workers around my home when I'm alone.

My husband and I came in last Sunday looking for a bed for our son. We made the mistake of replacing a mattress previously and not paying attention to the actual box spring, so we now found ourselves needed a whole new bed replacement. When first walking in, TJ approached us almost immediately with a greeting. He was super friendly. He asked the typical questions of what brought us in and were we looking for anything specific. We were pretty clueless but knew that we didn't want to spend a ton as our kids are big and they are known to destroy furniture quickly. He didn't even waste any time, took us right to the discount section. My man! Anyway, he pulled out several mattresses for us to try, and showed us other models similar throughout the salesfloor. He explained the differences between springs and memory foam, and gave honest opinions about each model we looked at. In the end, we ordered a bed that we knew would be a great fit for our kiddo. I purchased a king hybrid medium firm mattress on August 13, 2021. I worked with Lauren and she was resourceful, attentive, and patient while I made my decision about which mattress to purchase. I recommend working with Lauren to purchase and finance a bed/frame if you are going into the Mattress Firm on Mill Plain. I thought having the mattress, box spring, and frame I purchased delivered by a third party vendor would be faster and more efficient. I was wrong. I do not recommend having the mattress , box spring, and frame delivered by LS Delivery. I was contacted at 315pm by the receptionist of LS Delivery on Monday August 16 and told the company truck was broken and my mattress, box spring, and frame would not be delivered. I was told the materials couldn’t be delivered till Thursday August 18. On Wednesday August 17 at 530pm the same receptionist called me again and told me the materials couldn’t be delivered because workers were sick and the materials couldn’t be delivered until Tuesday August 24. On August 24 the two men delivering the truck showed up and entered my apartments. They did not wear masks and told me it was an extra $50 to have them set up the bed. I was told the total cost for delivery and set up was $150. I paid $200 to have the bed delivered and set up. But here’s the kicker, while I was writing the check I made small talk with one of the guys and asked him how many deliveries they had today. He told me they had 8-10 deliveries that day when they normally have 6-7 a day. I asked why they had so many deliveries that day. He said it’s because they were on vacation last week, so they were behind. So, not only did I pay more money than I wanted but I was also lied to. This kind of behavior is both unprofessional and unethical. Do not use LS Delivery.

I went to Mattress Firm because 10 years ago I had purchased my Tempurpedic there and received great service. While the location has changed over the years the service is still top-of-the-line. Jeremy spent at least an hour with me showing me what changes in the brand had been made and finding the best deals for me. The store is very clean, well laid out so you can see everything and everyone was very nice. I personally like stores with that pleasant vibe. Man, so there I was. . . At a Mattress firm, 15 minutes before closing on a beautiful Sunday evening in mid April. I figured I’d be quick, so I run inside to see what they had going on. Duane, the only person in the store was already busy with another customer, but took the time to immediately acknowledge me as I walked in the store and told me he’d be with me in just a few moments. In the meantime, I browsed around the store, but I had already knew what I wanted - the Purple 4. After a few short minutes I was able to speak to Duane about the Purple 4, and I had a bunch of questions. He was very professional, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about all the important things - Purple Q&A, stock, potential wait times, discounts, features, and all the things in between. I had some harder questions too, like how could he give me the same discounts the Purple company would give me if I bought from them instead. He informed me of my options and was able to pull together a quote that was far better than the Purple Company themselves could give me. He ended up staying 30 extra minutes past closing time to help me feel confident in my purchase. Unfortunately, to his surprise, I didn’t even purchase the bed that night! I told him I was going to go home and think it over for the night. If I decided to make the purchase, I would be back the following day. Duane being the professional he is, didn’t give any attitude, didn’t try to push me into sale, nothing. Was very polite and said awesome, I’ll be here, but here’s my card, just in case. He printed me off my quote and told me to return with it when I came back so I can get that price we had talked about. I returned the following afternoon and Duane was there, friendly and polite as expected. Duane dropped everything he was doing and greeted me once more. To my surprise, Duane had spent some extra time on my order after I had left and he was able to find me even another discount, WOW! I’m currently a very happy customer of Duane’s. Even after my purchase, he’s called me to check in to see if I’m happy with the purchase. If you’re in the Vancouver area or even the Portland area, come and see Duane! He’s the best around! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Duane will make the process as seamless as possible and he’ll save you some money! Go Duane!

We told him that we were on a pretty tight budget, being a family with a 1 year old and a newly purchased home. He tailored to our needs and made sure that we got a killer deal. This wasn't our first time going into a mattress store, and our experience elsewhere was less than par. Joseph is not your average salesmen, he isn't geared towards selling you the most expensive thing to get the biggest commission. He wants you to be happy with your new bed and not break your bank at the same time. So you heard it from me, but come see why this guy is truly a 5 star employee at mattress firm! Not only did he help us get the mattress exchanged, but he found us a matress twice as good, one that was much more firm than the previous, and that happened to be on clearance. No extra fees.
