Mattress’ and sleeping technology has come a long way since I purchased my last one ten years ago. Ken was extremely polite, overly knowledgeable (if there can be such a thing), and his professionalism was above reproach. He brings an honest care to helping people sleep better and thanks to Ken’s expert advice I sleep not just like a baby, I sleep better then. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that he’s long been promoted to some kind of upper management by the time I go back for my children’s mattresses in a couple years.

Ken gave us a demonstration on how the way you sleep determines the type of mattress you should have. He showed us all of the different types and helped us choose the right mattresses for our needs. I’m not a huge fan of places that overwhelm you with sales reps, but at this store the experience was completely different. I already knew I wanted a tempurpedic and Jacob went right along with it and really guided us on each available mattress until we settled on one. I had to drive 45 min to that store for a particular item that was only at that store and honestly I would drive that far again to work with them, and there’s a mattress firm 3 miles from my house but they make it worth it. I came in to this location on Monday 6/27 an hour before closing. Usually I avoid coming into places like this because of feeling pressured into purchasing. But I also did not want to purchase a mattress online without laying on the mattress first. I'm definitely glad I decided to give this place a shot. Jacob was extremely helpful with understanding my needs. He was very nice and knows his mattresses. I did not feel pressured at all. Do yourself a favor and come in if you are in the market for a new mattress. I will definitely be coming back to this location to purchase a mattress for my guest bedroom in the near future. Jacob was amazing! 5 stars all around!! He advised me of my options to pick up my mattress. He gave me a great deal on my mattress and I was satisfied! I called back to confirm my order and pay for it and inquired about using a coupon and spoke to Rachel. I asked about being able to apply the coupon to my mattress and she was trying to convince me that I was getting the absolute bottom basement price. Something in my gut told me to try online. Seeing as though I spoke to Jacob about coupons and I advised that I may have one. So i went online was able to get the pricing Jacob gave PLUS use my coupon and got an even better deal. I called to see if Rachel could price match and she did. I just wish she would have been willing to just try the code the first time. If it works great if not at least I tried. But I am glad that she did eventually try and I was able to get an amazing deal. So if I could give half stars I would but I will give it a 5 because overall im happy

Wow, wow and wow! What an amazing experience my husband and I had today at the Mattress Firm in Goodyear. I have put off buying a mattress for three weeks because in the past we've had horrible experiences with both Ashley and Sleep Number. However, today working with James and Dylan was a breeze. We told them the challenges we were experiencing with our current mattress and how our back issues were affecting our sleep and they educated us on exactly what we needed and why. James' knowledge of mattresses is amazing and he was able to answer all of our questions and make us feel confident with our purchases. We took full advantage of all of the Labor Day sales and financing options, and with the extras that were included we walked out the door confident that we received the best deal, and that we made an educated purchase. We highly recommend shopping with James and Dylan and plan to do business there in the future because the customer service is above par.

The store part of the purchase was great. Tom found me the perfect mattress for my guest room. The transaction was easy and quick and much appreciated. However the delivery was less than stellar. They arrived outside the time frame I was given, 45 minutes later. But the biggest issue was that these young men had no tools to disassemble my old bed and put the new one together. I had to dig through my husband’s tools to find what they needed. Their boss should have made sure they had the tools they needed to do the job.

Over 3 separate visits, she listened to our needs for the 2 beds we were seeking (1 king, 1 queen), encouraged us to try multiple manufactures and ultimately provided a great price to buy. I couldn’t recommend her more. Now we need a great experience on the delivery, set up, and ongoing usage of the new beds.

We went to look at a new mattress to help with back issues. Very friendly right when we walked in the door, which didn’t give us the typical sales greeting. After a few minutes of discussing what bed we currently have and why the back issues, we were shown several beds with explanations on why to try each one. I was really impressed with Dylan, as he watched how my body position was. And then how I was moving around to reposition my sleep style to suggest what was really the best fit for us, versus just trying to sell us a “high quality” mattress. We found a mattress and bought one that gave us the most comfort and a fair price. But, the non-sales approach made it easier to make the purchase. Can’t wait to get the new mattress delivered.

My mom was being released from the hospital, but she could not return to her group home for several days due to a positive covid test. That meant she had to come to my house. I had a twin bed frame, but no mattress! I searched the internet for a store that had a twin mattress in a box near my home in Goodyear. After striking out on several websites, I gave Mattress Firm a call, and the manager, Shanika, answered. She told me the mattress I found online was available, but I would have to go to the warehouse to pick it up. I said, well, do you have one in a box at the store? She said she did, and I told her she was a life saver! When I arrived, not only did she have the box pulled for me to pick up, but a mattress protector and sheet set, too. Wow, what an amazing experience. My family and I stopped in to physically see what options were trending in the mattress industry. I was impressed that a young man was able to accommodate our language barrier because my parents do not speak English. He was nice, attentive, and did not pressure us at all that day. The second time was even better, I personally called a few days later to see if my elderly parents could test, try, sit, etc. on the beds during the pandemic. Being that covid restrictions were still in effect, Shanika Washington, reassured me that there were procedures in place for my parents to try the beds. During our conversations, she invited us to check out her store. She went above and beyond the normal call of duty. She was patient with our circumstances (elderly parents & language barrier). Honestly, we came in knowing what to buy, but only after a true sleep assessment, she conducted on my parents, did they realize that they needed something else. She was kind to offer her input and beverages while we shopped. She didn't even try to upsell anything, which was a breath of fresh air, only after I inquired about a protector she told me what we needed to protect our new investment. Overall, nice, patient, informative, professional, very helpful, and understanding. A+ plus in my book, thanks for all your help Shanika my parents love their new adjustable bed and mattress set up you recommended.
