It was wonderful!! I spent quite awhile talking with Jim (the owner) and asked LOTS of questions. He was very kind & patient with me. I have actually sold beds myself before but it has been over 20 years and I never sold latex before. After laying on quite a few I think I have mine picked out...now to bring my husband in to choose his. We are doing a split-king with adjustable bases.

We are very happy with the adjustable bed and mattresses that we recently purchased at Oklahoma Mattress. Our sleep has vastly improved. The sales staff were knowledgeable and patient and the men who made the delivery were courteous and efficient. We love love LOVE our new bed! We’ve had it a little over 2 months and have had the best sleep ever. Initially I came in to research mattresses and buy locally instead of Amazon- and I’m glad we did. The owner happened to be in on Saturday and he really educated us on mattresses. He even went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase & I also love how they are old school. They replaced an RV short Queen, that was the mattress from hell! After hours on the road, RVing, you definitely need to get a restful night’s sleep. From the first night to nearly a year later, their mattress is heaven to sleep on! They listen to your needs, and deliver quality! As soon as our house is built, they will be making us an adjustable, split California king, and a queen. They came highly recommended, and I highly recommend them! I am a happy snow bird! Ask them to make you a bed; your back will thank you!

I bought a (Gentle Firm) mattress this April. I didn't want to make a review right after the purchase. About 6 months later, my cotton mattress still feels great on my lower back. Still, I have back pain, but not do to the mattress. My old mattress felt like concrete cinder blocks, & making me feel worse. With this virus going around, the owner was the one who completely made my mattress. He knows his mattresses, & hand tufted it with cotton. My (Gentle Firm) mattress feels like the same, from day one. I'm glad I didn't buy my next mattress online through the mail. If I did buy online, I'd have to do without an innerspring, because the extra support is definitely needed for me.

Regular mattresses and box springs, frames, adjustable bed and custom mattress and box springs for antique beds, pillows, and sheets!! My son in law worked for Mathis but I'll only buy from here!

We purchased our first mattress in July of 1999. We just went in today to shop for a new one. Yes, these mattresses are so well made they can last you 20+ years. I can not say enough about the quality of their hand tied mattress. Built the old fashioned way and the quality is exceptional! You will not be disappointed. Want to give a big thanks to Big Jim and all the staff at Oklahoma Mattress. They have gone above and beyond in helping us have a mattress that is by far superior to all others we have owned. When we had a problem, they made it right and their service guys are awesome. Don't waste your money on mattresses that will fall apart in a year, these people know how to custom make the correct mattress for you. And, the latex is great, no smell, no break down, no heat! So glad we found this place. Highly recommend!!

Went in hoping to purchase one of their handmade spring mattresses. The salesman was kind and answered all of our questions. We weren’t thrilled with the spring mattress so he showed us the latex mattress they carry. WOW. We purchased a queen size medium firm and it has been great. Great customer service. Amazing bed! They delivered our bed to Stillwater and set it all up! I recommend them to everyone and will continue to purchase from them!

They can customize a mattress for you at about however you like to do it at a reasonable price. Also impressed that they make mattresses for electronic moving beds and every type of bed you can think of. They are hand-built and customized for you! Rv, rv folding, home, hospital etc!

We initially purchased a mattress for my wife (split king). She liked it so much that I also purchased a new mattress (to replace the inflatable mattress on my "sleep #" bed that never met my expectations). We are both extremely pleased. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and knowledgeable. Just goes to prove that great products and excellent customer service never go out of style. If you're in the market for a new bed you need to visit Oklahoma Mattress Company. They have good product selection and they also have adjustable beds. I'm confident that you will find that you don't need to go to the big name stores to get premium quality - and you'll save money in the process. My only regret is that I didn't discover them sooner.

Everything was excellent. I over 10 hours of research online before making a purchase and this is one of the few places in the US that still makes mattresses to last long term. I rarely give reviews but they were so good I felt like I had to!

I walking in to this store 5 minutes after opening on saturday and Jim had me sold about 15 minutes later. I had no idea that the mattresses were handmade but I learned about their process and the history behind their business and I was so ready to order a custom mattress! My order was ready by tuesday and even though there were some shenanigans on my end trying to get the mattress upstairs, the movers were so kind and understanding about the whole thing. I would reccomend this business to anyone just because of their hospitality. I'm now laying on my mattress and it is so supportive and beautifully made. Thank you guys so much!

It is not often that I meet somebody who I feel is a true expert, so I rarely give recommendations. However, Jim, at Oklahoma Mattress Company is one of these rare birds. I had no idea you could actually have a mattress made from scratch to your specifications. My wife has a round bed and he made her a round mattress and it is wonderful. I just bought a memory foam topper from him and it is amazing. If you need a new mattress do yourself a favor and call Jim at 235-1142 you will be impressed.

There is no pressure here. The beds sell themselves. Most customers already have an idea of what they want by the time they find this place. The owners just stick around to answer questions. Research before going to purchase a bed, and this review will make more sense. The Oklahoma Mattress company sells a dozen varieties of three basic beds, the memory foam, the innerspring, and the latex. They then custom build each mattress. I chose different strengths of latex in a bamboo wrap. I'm not certain, but I suppose you could choose to mix and match. Phone and ask them. The delivery men were J.D. and another great guy. They took my old mattress down and wrapped it in plastic because I'm giving it to a friend. Then they VACUUMED the space under the frame where the rug never gets vacuumed. They were extremely careful about everything, even taking care that my little dog didn't get outside. I seriously love these guys. The mattress is just what I wanted, not some annoying substitute. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. The service is beyond outstanding. Since I came from out if town they let me take products home to try for free. Good sleep is priceless.

My wife and I stopped here after just moving from the DC area and seeing the rave online reviews. They were 100% right. Jim spent nearly two hours with us, letting us try out almost all the beds and answering all of our questions and sitting through our internal debate. The delivery late that week was a cakewalk and the bed itself is perfect. I would definitely recommend stopping here before going to any of the box stores for bed shopping.

The service and the delivery is excellent,I had an issue with the wrong mattress delivered,I called and a lady by the name Rhonda answered the phone and boy she was as rude as it gets I told her go stop yelling at me I am 71 years old never had a person talk tomorrow me in such a manner, I am sure my conversation is recorded check it out. Any how the correct mattress was delivered the next day in a timely manner, I hope mattress firm will teach their employees tomorrow be nicer cause I almost cancelled the order entirely.

I called on a Saturday to see about getting a custom cradle mattress made, and they called me by the following Friday afternoon to say it was ready! From start to finish, they provide excellent customer service, as well as excellent quality and attention to detail! We will definitely be coming back here for all our mattress needs in the future!

Jim is amazing. I don't know how I found out about this place, but I found a round bed from the 70's and need a new mattress. Jim was able to make me a custom mattress with a memory foam topper. I love it and my dogs love it. If you have never considered creating your mattress from scratch do yourself a favor and give Jim a call.

I order mattresses for delivery to New York. 100-years, they've been there. The owner is a true craftsman, not a slick salesman - you can tell the moment you talk to him. * He makes each mattress to order just for you. You want something athlete-sized? He'll do it. Twin XL or California King? No problem. Go select your firmness, or make a phone order. He delivers. * The mattresses are SO much better than the mattress-outlet mass-produced junk others are selling. For one thing, even the big name mattresses are packed with ordinary yellow foam rubber over the springs. It's not the springs that break down - it's the foam rubber that protects you from them. OK Mattress Co uses 100% cotton - all natural fibers - over their springs. That'll last 30 years. The outer surface is also 100% cotton and is cross-stitched. My TwinXL has about 45lbs of cotton in it. * They're not expensive! The prices are about what you pay, on the bottom end, at the hole-in-the-wall outlet stores. Price isn't a factor, because you're not paying for shipping the mattress to him (he makes it right in his store), you're not paying for inflated petroleum products (he uses cotton, not foam rubber), and you're not paying mark-up to cover commissions - he's the owner. So - custom mattress, hypoallergenic, and a real guarantee, for the price of a generic! * They're not too heavy. I move mine around easily, when I want, but it doesn't move by itself - and that's important too. * They're incredibly comfortable. We have both a twinXL firm, and a twinXL extra firm, and love them both. These mattress don't "break in" (which is foam rubber breaking down). They stay the way they were when you bought them. So if you mean firm, get firm. If you get extra firm, be sure you mean it - most people won't want that - it's for us rare few. He has several levels of softness/firmness you can try. * They're incredibly durable. The moment you handle one of his mattresses, you can tell. They're built to give your kids, if you want. And they'll last that long. * If you're looking for a latex mattress instead of a regular mattress, go to his store and try his. You can't beat the price, and he makes them right there, just like the spring mattresses. You'll never go back to memory foam. Anyway, this is the only place I'll get a mattress, now. We're very happy with ours, and also, frankly, you're dealing with a *real* person, so it just makes it a good experience all around. Ask to see his cut-open sealy mattress, while you're there. What a surprise! If you're shopping around, look wherever you want, as long as you look at Oklahoma Mattress Company.

Oklahoma Mattress Company is a small business with several products to offer. For example: mattresses, bed frames, pillows, sheets, mattress covers, & a few other things. I was interested in a mattress. This company builds mattresses with Talalya Latex. They make it exspecially for you based on your personal specifications. They have a 30 day comfort guarantee as well because the company wants you to be happy with your new product. We have determined how we would like our mattresses built and are waiting for a few days while they make it. We also purchased an adjustable base, sheets, and a mattress cover (waterproof that covers five (5) sides!) I cannot wait to get it! Great sleeping ahead!

If you want the best feeling, CUSTOM MADE FIT FOR YOU TYPE BED for great sleep & support at a GREAT PRICE...Go here everyone because this place knows what their doing. My fiance has bad back problems & was tossing & turning from the AWFUL SUNK IN BED AFTER 2YRS WE GOT FROM MATHIS BROTHERS. We fixed that going to Oklahoma Mattress Co & selecting the type of matris we wanted plus to additional top Latex part for over the top comfort which they take about a week to make for you & now my lady sleeps sound & so do I! I have now had my new mattress for a few nights, and while I am quite convinced it's firmer than the one I picked out in the store, it is still far superior to the memory foam one I had before and I have felt a huge release on my back. I would definitely recommend!

Jim the Owner and his Assistant Steve were GREAT!!! this was my first time to buy a mattress and I had spent about two months learning about different types of Mattresses and trying to figure out the best brand! Well every brand has there good and bad, but here its only good! they're Local and have great prices! I Bought a inner spring with a latex topper! I don't want to get out of my bed now! (I'm actually typing this while lying on it!) Steve showed me how they make them, still the old fashion way! (the best way in my opinon!) I highly recomend them! They make full natural latex mattresses that are amazing! rated to last at least 20-30 years! they cost a little more than an inner spring but alot cheaper than anywhere else!
