Steven Slate is Really great! Sounds almost like a chant, but that still fits considering how happy I am with the service and attention to detail Steven showed me. When I went in, I knew I wanted to try a Purple mattress, but that's about all I knew. I had **tons** of questions and started peppering him with them immediately. Not only was Steven able to answer all my questions, but he did so in a way that felt personal and relatable, all while never once making me feel like it was 'too much'. It was even more than that. I have a platform bed that I really wanted to use an adjustable frame with, but this required me literally sawing out parts of the platform to work with it, and this required knowing exact measurements of where the legs were, how high it was, what the clearances were, etc. I sent Steven an email saying 'I know this is a lot to ask, but could you measure these for me?' Not only did he do so, but even drew it out so it was very clear where all the measurements were. As a result, my purchase worked out even better than I expected as you can see from the attached photos. Simply put, Steven and Mattress Firm Steinway made me feel incredibly welcome and clearly went above and beyond to make sure what I got wasn't just what I needed, but what I wanted as well. I **highly** recommend this store, and Steven in particular. If you do go, tell him Mark says hi!

He assured me that he had some in stock and also made me feel comfortable in purchasing something less than average of an actual price of a mattress! Here there was a wonderful selection - coil mattresses, foam, purple, and hybrid mattresses — and the ability to try them all. The best experience of my time. Khalid was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the mattress and actually helped me and my girlfriend buy a mattress today. He had an answer for every question that we had and more, he let us know the pros and the cons and the financing. He was helping us and multiple customers solve their issues, in a way where he did it that was efficient and quick. This is probably the best customer service we’ve ever had and I made the experience so much better, he never rushed us with anything and let us experience all the mattresses and if anything allowed us to experience it by long as we want And made sure so for every need that we wanted in a mattress, even got us to buy a bedframe he wouldn’t usually buy but he weighed the pros and the cons and we realize the pros were much better and so we went for it. It was the best investment and he is probably the best sales representative I came across

My wife and i went into the store looking to try out the purple mattress hybrid models as she suffers from joint pains due to a pinched nerve. We were helped by Khaled and Joshua showed us each bed, showed us all pillows, all frames and guaranteed they would price match. As i was building my cart online and mentioning price, i was asking them if they could match what i was seeing and they were agreeing to everything. We ended up with the Purple Hybrid 3 with an adjustable Sealy base, free shipping and free installation and removal of my old mattress and bed frame set, they gave us their last brand new set of 2 pillows at a discounted price plus free purple sheets that are due to arrive in about a week. No pressure, easy application process and more importantly they were thorough and kind in allowing us to take our time to make an informative decision.

What an excellent experience I had with Khaled! He took me through every bad while meticulously narrowing down what was perfect for me. My sister and I walked into the Steinway location with the intent of looking at a specific brand of mattress (her) and to find a replacement for a Nectar mattress that just didn't work out for me. From the very beginning, Dean was absolutely fantastic with us. He listened to what we were both interested in and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative about every thing we asked him. I tried a few different brands and models, and decided on a model. Dean readily answered all of my inquiries about financing and helped figure out a good option that worked for me. He also helped my sister look into what her financing option would be at this point if she were to go through with a purchase herself, but happily said that whenever she decides on something to be in touch. Additionally, we felt very at ease with how the store was set up and Dean handled things due to COVID. We were all masked and both got disposable sheets to use to lie down on the mattresses and try them out. Towards the end of our trip, a couple came in to view mattresses and asked if there were any available disposable masks, which Dean readily dispensed. All in all, we had a great experience at Mattress Firm Steinway and with Dean - would highly recommend!

My fiancee and I recently visited this location desperately in need of a new mattress. She has pretty severe scoliosis and has been waking up in pain for a long time now. When we came in, only about 30 minutes before closing, we were enthusiastically greeted by Joe who proceeded to show, explain, and let us experience every mattress that he thought would be best for her condition. Never in our lives have we met a more knowledgeable, honest, and friendly salesperson. It sounds extreme, but as excited as we were about the purchase we ended up making (which Joe got us an A-MAAAAZING deal on!) we were equally blown-away by Joe's personality and expertise. The mattress was delivered the next day in great condition and my fiancee has already noticed a huge difference. She's woken up well-rested and with a huge smile on her face ever since that first night. This is such a big deal and will hopefully vastly improve her quality of life day to day. We cannot thank Joe enough for his sincere no-pressure approach in helping us find just the right mattress for us. Mattress Firm should be very very proud of their employee who, IMHO, should travel the country teaching seminars on proper salesmanship. I went to the store looking for a new pillow (I have spent many years buying cheap or "on sale" pillows and realized I'd had enough of waking up with a sore neck, etc. b/c I was skimping on a good pillow, so I came to MF knowing I'd get a solid pillow) -- I had already done my research online and wanted to see if I could test out, or at least see in person, the ones that stuck out to me online. Unfortunately, they did not have any of the ones I wanted to see (so Mattress Firm headquarters -- get on that better for the stores, so that customers can really see and tryout what you have to offer!! That's the reason for the 4 stars -- not the store itself, but MF headquarters needs to supply their brick and mortars better) -- however they had a similar model that was the same brand as a few I was looking at online and after sampling a few different brands that they did have in store and talking over my options with the store manager, Walter Albanez, I ended up getting the one they had in store that was the same brand as the ones I was looking at online. My need for a pillow immediately, outweighed the thought of waiting for 5-day shipping from the online retailer. Walter was very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful.

I found the perfect dog bed for my German Shepard who was going into surgery, Josh helped me place the order quickly and efficiently and provided updates every step of the way! It was amazing customer service. Unfortunately, due to Fedex issues, the dog bed did not make it to the store in time And was actually rerouted back to the warehouse . Josh jumped right in and coordinated a re-delivery for me, he dealt with Fed ex, texted me updated tracking and called everyday with the most updated information on my package. Yet again Fedex “could not deliver the package”. Unfortunately the logistic issues were a bummer and it was a week after my pups surgery. Mattress firm refunded me the money for the bed and as a courtesy gave me another an alternative replacement for the trouble. Although I did not get my original order the outstanding customer service provided by the mattress firm team can not be ignored.
