This place is wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful! I came to this store initially trying to find the “MattressFirm” just a few hundred yards down the street and ended up coming in to check/compare pricing out of curiosity to see the differences between the store. The associate Matt was extremely helpful, understanding of my needs, and answered every question I had. He offered to break things down to help me understand everything he had to offer in the variety of mattresses and even the adjustable bed frames. Matt was such a nice and calm guy I felt so welcome to buy a bed from a down to earth guy and store who was honest with me as a customer. While it may not be as renovated as other big name stores, I would definitely recommend anyone to try this store first before going to another store to get the full professional but friendly and honest experience of buying a bed. I’m very happy with my purchase and Matt’s help. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone in the future. I hope to shop here again when I need another bed!

I worked with Matt and purchased a Temper Pedic bed and frame. He was one of the best sales people that I've ever had the opportunity to work with. He was incredibly knowledgeable and unlike most retail sales people simply informed me of options and let me decide. He was never pushy or awkward at any point in time. All this being said, he was even a few dollars cheaper than the next best deal I could find. I don't see how you could possibly have a better sales person than Matt. We strongly recommend the Queen Dr. Greene Graphite Mattress . The combination of a spring mattress along with foam is the perfect match. To top it off the mattress cover stays constantly cool for people like ourselves who sleep warm. Ty gave us a selection of similar mattresses we described to him but the Dr. Greene mattress was the one. Matt was also very helpful with the paperwork. I highly recommend asking for Ty if other New Orleans locals are looking for a mattress or mattresses.

I had just returned a mattress set at Rooms To Go due to a botched delivery (on their end) and overall terrible customer service, and I happened to see Mattress Direct on my way home. AJ greeted me and listened as I vented about my treatment at RTG. He helped me stay close to my original budget, even going so far as to match the RTG delivery fee AND throwing in a free pillow. Best part was that while RTG was going to make me wait another two weeks for my bed, Mattress Direct could deliver within 3 days, with a 3hr delivery window, a 30min “heads up” call, AND the ability for me to track my delivery online. That’s how you keep your customers happy!

He took ALL my requirements in consideration, he did NOT show me anything over our budget, and he kept the number of selections down to a manageable number so we wouldn't get overwhelmed with choices! We found the best mattress for my relative's need. It's simply beautiful, without having to pay and arm and a leg. And may I add, we shopped for and found and paid for a mattress here in less time than it took us to eat lunch at a fast-food restaurant just a few blocks away!!! Great experience. Great product!

Everything started great but took a bad turn. The customer service was great and I felt good about making my purchase. I did tell the saleman that I would continue shopping and he offered free deleivery so I said ok I'd buy from M.D. Everything was smooth with delivery. However, I wouldn't recommend buying the mattress cover. They start at $89 and it's just a piece of cloth and plastic. I'm sure you can find better online for cheaper. I had issues with the mattress cover and did not get the service I hoped for. Apparently, the salesman doesn't know the store policy or chooses when it's convenient for him to follow the policy but having a satisfied customer, who spend a decent amount of hard earned money, was not his goal. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING BECAUSE GREED IS REAL AND THEY DO NOT WORK WITH YOU GO GET THE RIGHT PRODUCT.
