Walked in today looking specifically for a Purple brand mattress and I was extremely happy they had them available to test! I worked with Jon Peterson, the store manager - he was extremely professional and let us explore and test the beds on our own but was nearby if we had any questions. Had a great experience shopping at the Hooksett Mattress Firm with the help of Jon the store manager. I came in earlier in the day and expressed my interest in purchasing a bed set but wanted to wait for my wife to come check things out before making a decision. We called shortly before closing to let Jon know we were just getting home and he said to come down anyways. He stayed late to answer our questions and there was never any pressure. The sales woman was helpful and very nice. She was patient while we tried several beds. I ended up purchasing a Nectar mattress. I was a little irritated when I got home and looked up the mattress I bought only to discover it would have been about $150 cheaper on the Nectar website and it would have included sheets, a mattress protector, and two pillows. My advice is to make sure you’re doing your research before purchasing, but Mattress Firm was a good place to try out the mattresses. They also deliver to your door for free which is nice. Update: Mattress Firm saw my review and called me. They are giving me the bundle and refunding the price difference. Tina was super helpful and nice.

We had a great experience buying our new mattress thanks to Jon Peterson, this store's manager. Jon was friendly and helpful from the moment we entered the store. He never pushed us to make a purchase, and he patiently and skillfully answered our questions to help us find the right mattress for our preferences and budget. His 40+ years in the mattress industry really showed through in his knowledgeable responses to our questions. We were in a rush (we only had about 45 minutes to shop before an appointment), and we came into the store without much knowledge at all, but Jon helped us get through the process quickly, while also giving us all the information we needed to make the right choice. Jon also helped us save some money on the final purchase. He was an all-around delightful person to talk to and do business with. Our mattress was delivered on-time, and the delivery professionals did a great job getting it up our tricky staircase and into our room.

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! Jon Peterson is such a patient guy. He had no problem showing anyone in the store 10 beds if they asked. When I had to rush out for a family emergency & told him I'll be back, he was so very nice and polite. Greets you in and on your way out holds the door. He doesn't follow you around. He lets you look at what you choose. Never once did I feel pressured to buy anything! He will try his hardest to get you the best deal on anything even when it's not on sale 🤭 The only "negative" thing I can say about him is that he's TOO nice! Every time we have been in the sales associates have been very kind and very helpful. I’ve been impressed by that. I’ve received conflicting information from one store to the other, from one sales associate to another, which is mildly concerning. We purchased the Purple mattress and have not enjoyed it at all. When I returned to the store to have it returned and to purchase the Beauty Rest, the sales associate did not give me ounce of difficulty. Granted, I was purchasing a more expensive mattress, but he was like that before he even knew what I was going in to purchase. The exchange process was extremely easy and only took me about 15-20 mins. Easy in and out and my new mattress will arrive in a couple of day. We’ll see how the Beauty Rest works out. But so far, I’ve been happy with them.

Jon Peterson was an absolute pleasure to work with. He has been in this career for some time now and has heard it all and he is so comfortable to talk with. So don't be shy and ask away. He wasn't pushing us to buy one thing or another and was more interested in our needs and expectations. Customer service is 15/10. The selection was incredible. They even had the mattress we never heard about except online and we are skeptical about buying online because we can't test it first, also the deal we got with mattress firm was unbeatable. I would highly recommend you go and see Sean and the staff at Mattress firm in Hooksett! My fiance and I were in the market for a mattress but didn't know where to begin. Preparing for a move, I was in desperate need for a brand new bed. I had done a cursory search through Google and was initially drawn to Mattress Firm because of some promising sale deals; I wanted to get an idea for the mattresses before committing to any particular mattress so I visited a nearby store. I was slightly disappointed that the mattresses/frames were online stock only but figured I could still glean some useful knowledge by looking around the store/asking questions. My service rep, Tina, was super accommodating and helpful regarding my inquiries. I’d originally convinced myself that I would just order through the website the intended bed but after a lot of advice and testing, couldn’t be happier to have been talked into a mattress I felt WAY more confident getting than taking a haphazard chance on an online mattress with wavering reviews. It’s probably easy to say that I had been up-sold on my mattress but as I see it, my sales rep sold me ease of mind and confidence that I was getting a mattress I wouldn’t be disappointed with down the road. I went into the experience with preconceived ideas of what I wanted but, thankfully, the rep prevented me from settling for a far inferior product. Looking back, I was going to drop hundreds on a bed and frame I was hoping on a wing and prayer would be good when at the end of the day, for nearly the same costs, I now know definitively I love the products.
