Me and my wife work in Louisville out of our hometown. We had to purchase all new furniture for our apartment. My wife had purchased a bedroom suite for someone online and the mattress that came with it was not usable. Looked online and mattress firm was the first place that was shown for my location. Called to check what was available and was glad I did. The associates working were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Had exactly what we was looking for. When we arrived to the store was very impressed with the variety of mattresses also at how clean and presentable the store was. Very happy with our purchase and service. My husband and I were looking for mattress sets for our three boys. I had always heard that Memorial Day weekend was the best time to get a great sale. I had been looking around for a week or so at different mattress stores and the sales they were offering. I decided that Mattress FIRM was the place and off we went. When we walked in, the store was very clean, organized, plenty on the showroom floor to decide upon and most importantly there was a greeting when walking in!! This is NOT a store where they meet you at the door and just poor the pressure on you!! This is a very relaxed environment where one has time to think and make the best decision for their purchase. There were two gentlemen and the one we had the privilege of getting was Nick. We explained why we were there and he proceeded to help us. It’s important to point out that he did not take us to the most expensive mattress that he had but rather he asked the necessary questions and pointed out several possibilities. He took his time with us and was multi tasking with other business but still made us feel like our sale was just as important as anyone else’s!! We received his genuine attention and time as well as a very, very good sale!!! He not only served us , he made sure that my three boys were taken very good care off!!! From the time we arrived until the time we left !!!!As a mom, knowing someone wants the best for your children as you do speaks volumes!!!! I did have to drive to the Mattress Firm warehouse just a few miles down the road; otherwise they would have delivered the frame within a few days. We visited the Mattress Firm on Westport Rd yesterday. We have not yet received our mattresses as they are on order. Our salesman Nick created a wonderful experience for us instead of the usual dreaded one. Nick was attentive but not overbearing, very friendly, very knowledgeable and he listened to our needs. I wanted to share our Mattress Firm on Westport Road experience with Chris, Mike and ESPECIALLY Nick. When we first went to Mattress Firm it was on the heals of visiting another mattress store. The experience here could not have been more opposite than the other store. From the time we walked in, Nick greeted us with a smile, listened to what we were looking for, explained our options and helped us pick the right bed for us, in a friendly, relaxed, not pressured environment. When we came back to make the purchase, while Nick was not there, Mike was and he did not miss a beat. Nick had left notes, which Mike read, and he spoke to Nick to make sure everything was taken care of in a 5 star way. We did have a hiccup when it came to delivery, BUT, the way it was resolved was 5-plus stars. Chris, and again ESPECIALLY Nick, went above and beyond what one would expect. Nick took the lead and made sure everything was done as promised!! He handled everything as if he were handling it for his family. We appreciate all that was done, and if Mattress Firm or any business were to clone Nick, they would have themselves a polite, caring and responsible person that anyone would hire!!

Sales experience was terrific and I was not expecting it to be. We were put at ease right away and educated on mattress types and styles even trying out floor models for comfort fit. The only issue was delivery. We agreed on a delivery date about a week out but we’re notified late the night before that the order had not been processed and our mattress would not be delivered for another week. Still awaiting delivery.

Nicholas or Michael (both names appear on my receipt) was phenomenal at getting me out the door fast. In a hurry to buy the entry level mattress and foundation for company, he worked fast and smart. I gave him the sizes I was looking for and he directed me well. I also mentioned that I wanted a very skinny mattress for my aging relative, so he sold me the low profile foundation. If the foam mattresses were in stock, I would have upgraded. Unfortunately, they are due to arrive in Dec 5th. I may go back for that one for Christmas overnight guests. I've never bought a real mattress before. Only the bed in a box deals from Amazon. Wasn't planning on spending as much as I did, but Nick made a good point that there's things in life you don't go cheap on. Shoes, toilet paper, and mattresses. (It was a fluke for me to find the more expensive mattress so please don't think he talked me into something out of my price range). I don't have my actual bed yet so I didn't know what kind of box spring I would need and from pictures he was able to tell me exactly what I needed. Great experience. Edit to add! My bed turned out that it needed a different box spring. A simple phone call I was able to exchange what I have for the one I need. I also ordered one for my son's bed. Turns out my son's bed was not the size I thought and, yet again, had to call Nick to order the correct one. He easily helped me with what I know is a pain in the butt situation. Great service. If you're on the fence about where to go... This place and Nick is where it's at!!

What a store! We went during a nationwide sale and this franchise undersold their website by a couple of hundred dollars. I recommend going in person. There was an error in the delivery, no problem, they advised to just refuse it and the right product would come in a day or two. Then we were confused about their policy of picking up your old mattress and they solved that problem and arranged for a separate pick up. I don’t see how they made any money on us but they treated us as if we were their most valuable customer.
