I can usually be long-winded when it comes to writing, but I’m going to keep this review simple and sweet. First of all, I love that my son and I were greeted by Kevin once entering Mattress Firm. He was very kind, patient, and considerate of my wants and needs. He’s a great listener!!!! Kevin answered all of my questions and I had a lot of them. Went in to look at mattresses, a new guy showed us around (wish I could remember his name). You could tell he was new but he was knowledgeable (albeit timid) and very nice, keeping his distance when my wife and I wanted to discuss our future purchase. Kevin was at the computer and chimed in when the employee helping us began to process our order. Kevin was very nice, with clear experience. He pointed us to a reasonable mattress platform / box spring. When that model ended up not being available he worked with us and got us an even better product. Overall great experience and we’re enjoying our purchase.

We had a great experience! We found the perfect mattress and pillows! We were there for about 2 hours and the salesman, Josh, spent all of his time to make sure we found the perfect mattress. He seemed honest and did everything he could to make us happy. He also sold us two incredible memory foam pillows that we've been using and our sleep quality has already improved. We cannot wait to receive our new mattress. We will do business with them again if we need anything mattress/pillow related. Josh knew the products very well! Update: we love our new mattress and adjustable base and head. We also love our new sheets. They were the cheapest ones they had but they seem silky and we're very happy with it!

We hate furniture shopping, but we needed a new king mattress something fierce, so we comparison shopped at 3 stores on the NW side: Mattress Firm, Long's Mattress, and American Mattress. We stopped by Mark's Mattress too, but the NW location appears to be permanently closed. Mattress Firm was our first stop, and Jacob & Kevin did an excellent job helping us compare the pros & cons of the various types of mattresses available and find out what was most comfortable for us. They were completely upfront about pricing and current deals, and we narrowed it down to 2 different plush hybrid mattress options. Next we stopped at Long's. We really wanted to like something here, because we like buying local whenever possible. However, this is a $2-3K purchase that's going to impact how well-rested we'll feel for the next several years, so we had to be realistic, and nothing here felt quite as good as our top 2 picks at Mattress Firm. Also, we found it off-putting that the salesperson chose to sell us on the quality of their product by telling us how terrible the quality was on the national brands. Running the other guy down is not a winning strategy with us. Next we tried American Mattress (after discovering Mark's Mattress was closed). We found shopping here confusing, as they didn't have things clearly marked as firm, medium, plush like they did at Mattress Firm. We already had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, and gave the salesperson a rundown of what we liked at Mattress Firm, and that we wanted a hybrid plush mattress. The salesperson here insisted we start at square one and try temperpedic and hybrid mattresses of various firmnesses, even though we had already narrowed it down to a hybrid plush. It wasted a lot of time and had us needlessly coming into contact with extra surfaces. This salesperson also didn't seem knowledgeable about the products, which made it hard to compare. A frustrating experience here all around. We returned to Mattress Firm, and made a final selection. Jacob & Kevin were a delight to work with. No pressure, never a bad word about the competition, and both of them were knowledgeable about all the mattresses on offer. They made an unpleasant chore surprisingly enjoyable. We could have saved time and hassle today if we had not bothered with the other stores.

Just had an amazing experience at this store thanks to Josh Warren one of the store managers. We had a terrible cheap mattress and when we ordered our beauty rest mattress it would be here in time for the arrival of our first daughter. However she decided to arrive 7 weeks early and I was stuck in the hospital after labor for 6 days. Josh made it easy for me to have my Dad go to the store to pick up our mattress, box spring, and frame even though I and my husband have been stuck in the NICU this whole time. I haven't had a chance to sleep on my mattress yet but my baby goes home tomorrow and I'm hoping she lets me get just a few hours of rest on it.
