I just happened to get one mattress a little over a year ago, that needed replacing while still under warranty. No problem. Quick response from Mattress Firm on-line. In-store salesperson, Troy, was most helpful and a pleasure to work with.

We had a pretty fantastic experience shopping for a new mattress here with our sales rep Alika. He was knowledgeable, transparent, personable, fair and no pressure. All the things I appreciate in a salesperson. I am one of those people who will take my time with a big purchase. I read reviews, I go to different stores and I sit and marinate. Alika was willing to give us time to shop around and still honor the sale price promotion that was happening when we first went there. I really appreciated this no pressure approach! I did go to a few other stores and found Mattress Firm had the best price and service so we splurged $4k + on a brand new mattress with no regrets. Yes, we could try to get something shipped here (lots of companies do NOT ship to HI and if they do, it's expensive) but I wanted to lie on the mattress and I wanted the assurance of being able to swap it out hassle free if needed. Speaking of, I HATE the mattress we bought. It's what my husband wanted (he has a bad back) but omg it's like sleeping on concrete. I wake up with a sore back. We will see if their customer service holds up on the swap out process but as of now I'm still feeling good and confident in our decision to shop here. Stay tuned! The delivery process was smooth, the guys were very professional, nice and efficient. They came on time and we're quick and removed our old mattress with no grumbles.

I wanted to do research on the website so that I had an idea of what to get in person. The website made research very easy. I made a point to wait until Memorial Day because they had mad deals. When I walked into the Mattress Firm location, Troy listened to my needs and did a great job of having my partner and me try out different mattresses. He was not pushy and he was willing to work within our small budget. It was a really enjoyable experience. I wish making larger purchases was always this hassle-free. The delivery and set up took place the next day and the workers were awesome. They were friendly and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. They hauled away our old mattress, set up our frame, and unpacked our new mattress. Thanks!

I'm impressed. Did not have any intention of buying a mattress right away due to how big of an investment my wife and I were about to make. Walked in and Mike asked what we were looking for. Had us try out three mattresses. Luckily, the mattress we liked was having a closeout so the price was dropped. I mostly appreciate that Mike gave us space to go back and forth from bed to bed and then discuss whether or not we should wait. We needed a mattress though, so we bought it that night. We went well-passed closing time, which we're thankful for. Mike really went out of his way to make us feel satisfied and comfortable with our investment. He also did us a favor and got the mattress delivered sooner than expected. The setup went well and the handlers didn't mess up my walls or house. Tonight, we'll sleep on it and I'll post a review of the mattress on the website in a couple months. Thanks Mike for the great customer service and conversation! I want to add in that another reason we felt comfortable with dropping thousands of dollars on this bed setup is because of their trial period. I believe it's 120 days. If we aren't happy with it, we can exchange for just the shipping cost of $100, which seems fair. I've heard bad reviews about memory foam, but I guess we'll see.

Repeat customer and would be in the future as well. 5 stars always for Troy- he’s the best. Super helpful, really kind and knowledgeable. The only reason I give 4 stars is the financing process. It’s an outsourced, online application process that makes you fill out a form, go on a separate site, wait, then take selfies and video of your self to confirm identity, which it did not in my case. Then we called, they kept disconnecting the call…long story long, the process was terrible and I couldn’t get the financing. But to end on a good note, Troy is cool, buy your mattress from him.

This was the first time my husband and I made a purchase from this store and I have no regrets so far on the amount of money we spent. Usually, when I spend a lot of money on something I start having regrets on whether I should return it our not. But this wasn’t the case. We had intentions on buying mattresses but we didn't know for sure if we were going to buy it from this store. The prices and experience had to be right. I must say it was a pleasant experience overall. Ron did an excellent job with greeting us and making sure our expectations were met. We told him what our budget looked like and the types of mattresses we were looking for and he made sure that what ever he suggested to us fitted that criteria. He didn’t waste any of our time trying to pitch us something that we weren’t looking for. It was basically an in and out transaction. It’s not because Ron was rushing us or anything. He simply just valued our time. Ron was kind enough to inform us the different type of beds they offer and gave us suggestions on which bed would be best for side and stomach sleepers like us. My father in law and I were out on a hunt for a mattress yesterday and could not have been happier with the excellent service we received at Mattress Firm. The store manager, Ron Walker, greeted us the moment we walked in, asked us what we were looking for, gave us a few options that met dad's needs, and then kindly backed off to let us think and try out a few. There were no high pressure, used car salesman tactics. Ron patiently answered all our questions as they came up. He explained about the very generous return policy and gave us some discount after we made our decision. On top of the excellent, well-informed service, Ron was able to secure zero interest financing for 48 months and help explain how dad can have an autopay set up so he doesn't have to worry about making payments. The numbers presented from the beginning were the exact same numbers we ended up with, less a discount. Dad was happy because he has experienced bait and switch in other locations. Ron is very honest and straightforward. Last great thing to say is delivery and removal is set up for Monday / tomorrow!! Dad is super happy and looking forward to to his new bed. I'd rate 10 stars if I could!

Went in to mattress firm to browse a bit and do more research. In less than 30 minutes Ron had us out the door with a mattress, sheets, and a scheduled delivery. We never felt pressured. Ron answered all our questions and made some suggestions. The process went a lot smoother than expected. On another note I don't know why this location is called clearance. They have the top of the line stuff. We got a tempur-pedic. Thanks again Ron. We'll definitely be back when it's time.

I was at my wits end with mattress shopping for the price I want when I finally pulled into the Mattress firm store because I was in the correct lane on Pi`ikoi St. I spoke with Ron the store manager and told him I had it wit mattress shopping. I was told by another store I had to pay a minimum of $1,000 and that didn’t include a bed platform I wanted. The “bed-in-box” memory foam mattress was quite high but I didn’t want to go all over HONOLULU (or beyond) to get one. Ron hooked me up with a great medium firm “bed-in-box” and a bed platform that elevated but stuck within my budget! On the day the bed & platform was delivered, the guys were stellar professionals, being understanding about us not wanting shoes in the house, setting up like clockwork, and was out quite quickly. The lead delivery contact was professional, meticulous and friendly. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a mattress and bed platform!!

Buying a good quality bed is an excellent investment. I recommend going to the Mattress Firm located on South Beretania Street and ask for Ron. My experience in that store was the best. Ron was very knowledgeable he was able to answer all my questions and allowed me to take my time and lay in several of the beds on display. The store is located at the corner of Piikoi and South Beretania about five minutes from my apartment. They have a good amount of parking outside and the inside is bright and clean. I really appreciated that they had a good selection of beds on display and that I could lay on them. The prices varied from the clearance items that were at a huge discount to the more high end ones that costed more. I was looking for a firm queen mattress that would compliment my platform frame I had at home. Ron suggested a tulo mattress and a buddy board. It was perfect. It was delivered to my apartment the following weekend and since then I've been enjoying my new bed. Because of Ron's superior customer service and knowledge I've been recommending him to anyone and everyone who I know that is shopping for a new bed. He was kind enough to help two of my friends who has also purchased a bed from him. I plan to keep sending more of my friends to Ron at Mattress Firm. His customer service is priceless!
