Mrs Shari Bunt was the best. From the time I called her to set up an appointment to my appointment time that same afternoon. Once we got to the location she was very professional. We didn’t feel rushed or under pressure while trying to decide on a mattress. They worked so patiently letting my autistic son pick out a bed even when he was jumping all over the place. The prices were very affordable ranging from 150 a set on up. We ended up deciding on a bed in the 500 dollar range due to my son's sensory issues. I would recommend any of the lower price mattresses as well due to the great quality! Check them out! Absolutely wonderful business to buy mattresses from! My fiancé and I got paperwork written out for a pricey mattress and changed our minds due to budgeting after signing the paperwork. Not only did she understand and help us, but she also did everything she could to find us a better deal that worked for us. We had decided to get one of the cheapest ones they offered so we could afford it. However, she kept showing us different options until we found something that we were truly happy with and that was affordable for us. I purchased a King size mattress from here on April 3rd, 2021. They did not have as many selections as I thought they would nor did they have any prices on the mattresses so I chose one of the better/more expensive mattresses available. After leaving and reviewing my receipt, I noticed a no refunds/exchanges stamped at the bottom. This was NOT mentioned during the time of purchase. So BE AWARE. I immediately felt concerned and went back to the store to ask about it and Jim stated that they would definitely replace a mattress if it had issues and that put my mind at ease. I received my mattress two days later on April 5th. I was happy with the speedy delivery.Unfortunately, I hadn’t had the mattress a week before noticing a continuous popping of inner springs when getting in and out of or moving around in the bed(I did not experience this AT ALL while testing the floor models). I have never experienced a brand new mattress popping or making noise(especially not a euro or pillow top). I waited exactly a month to see if the mattress needed to be broken in and it’s only getting worse. On May 7th, I called Jim and he said he’d come by and look at it and exchange it if need be. Three days went by before he called me to follow up and I responded with a video of the mattress popping included. That was May 10th. I didn’t hear from him again until May 14th regarding what to expect next. I was understanding of the delay in response because he said he had a family situation but he would definitely come that Sunday May 16th. Sunday came and then he said he was sick and would be by one day this week for sure to inspect/replace my mattress. It’s now Friday May 21st and I still haven’t heard from Jim or anyone at the store about inspecting/replacing my mattress. I am starting to feel as though I’m receiving the run around. While they are very friendly people, I must be honest and say I am not pleased with the delay in customer service after receiving my mattress. I am also displeased with the quality of the mattress that ended up being more expensive than the name brand mattresses in higher end stores. I am hoping that someone reaches back out to me soon to honor their word of providing good business and resolves this issue. If not I will be sure to share the complete details, photos, and videos of my experience and product received. I will be back with an update entailing whether they provide good business or not. I am hoping this issue will be resolved and that both Shari and Jim are people of their word. UPDATE 6/23/21: Mrs. Shari emailed me a warranty claim form to complete. Though she was willing to help, she was more concerned about their business losing money for the faulty mattress than my experience after purchasing it. Initially there was some hesitation to accept my paperwork & photos because I had completed everything electronically (which was acceptable according to the warranty form). However, I was told by Shari to pay to print my pictures at Walgreens, bring them up to the store in person, and pay for a second delivery fee for the new mattress. I questioned this because I didn’t understand why I was required to come out of pocket again for a faulty product I received that was deemed faulty after being inspected by one of her employees. After pressing the issue, Mrs. Shari agreed to accept the warranty claim electronically and agreed to honor that I had already paid for a delivery the first time. Days later, I’m assuming after reading my original review above, Mrs. Shari called me and stated that she does not like bad reviews and immediately offered to replace my mattress by the end of the week instead of waiting on everything else with the claim to come back. I was very thankful for this because I felt like that was the customer service I should’ve received the first time. As promised, a new mattress was delivered to me this past Friday on 6/18/21. So far I haven’t had any issues with this mattress and I’m hoping it stays this way. I appreciate the turn around in customer service! Update from 1star to 3 stars

After spending an hour at another name brand mattress place & them wanting to charge $4,000 we met with Sheri at Mattress by Apt and were in and out of there in less then 30 minutes for less then 1/3 of the other price. This was my 2nd purchase in about 3 years. The first but was a pillow top queen set that was great quality as I opted for a high end set so it was around 850$. This time my sealy full mattress was 250$ after originally being told 450$. There aren't any prices posted so buyers beware that you will be overcharged if you don't negotiate a reasonable price. It was a fairly easy process and you get a 5$ Starbucks gift card for a 5 star review! 🤔

I was skeptical at first I wont lie. After shopping around and getting prices well over the 1k price range for the mattress we wanted I decided to make an appointment. Eric responded within minutes late on a Friday night to say we were welcome to meet him at his West Columbia shop as he was restocking inventory for his Camden shop. We decided to take the drive to meet him. He was pleasant to speak with, informative, and courteous. When we asked what the price was for the mattress we wanted we were floored. We decided to purchase right there and then. The mattress was the same one we have been looking at nearly half the cost. We were even able to set up a delivery of the mattress as we didnt have the kind of vehicle to transport it. Eric and I set up a delivery time and he personally delivered the mattress. Even came back to hook us up with rails for our bed (cost a little extra but necessary for our bed). They are NOT a fly by night company, they are NOT just in it to make a buck, they DO care about their customers and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Thank you Eric and we love our new bed. Our dog loves it too !!!

I purchased a Mattress from Jennifer. She was Very Knowledgeable and let let me lay on all the mattress but the last Matress she said you can sit on it. So I sat on it. We went through the different Prices so I selected the one that I sat on when I got home on my ticket was stamed No Return, No Refund or Exchanges it was not stamped on there until after I signed it. I received the Mattress the next day. I called her that following Monday to let her know that I did not like the Mattress. She checked with the company to see what could be done I was so disappointed and unhappy with this mattress. The people that its financed through said that they redid my contract so that I could purchase a higher priced mattress that I was willing to do. And I explained that to Jennifer. So now she is saying that Her Boss said that they cant take the mattress back because by Law they cant resale thr mattress. However through my whole Process Jennifer has been very nice and understanding in trying to help me get it resolved. I wished a Million times I would have thought before just jumping and getting it. I am so disappointed. This was my first time Purchase a Mattress and I really Hate it. She told me to try and sell it on Facebook Flea Market. The next time I ever get a mattress I will think about it first.

Short version: HIGHLY recommended. My wife and I recently decided to upgrade to an adjustable bed and new mattress from a sleep number bed. After doing a good bit of research, we determined that the sleep number products were overpriced and the bed frame was not covered by the sleep number try at home return policy. After going to mattress firm and being rather disappointed with their pricing and selection, I decided to try alternatives. While looking at alternative web vendors and products, I stumbled across Mattress by Appointment. After meeting with Jim, he gave us a great price on a set of Twin XL Prodigy 2.0 frames and their recommended Harmony mattresses (Split King). Delivery was fast and easy. While the mattresses were very comfortable, the manufacturer saw fit to make them approximately three inches shorter than what is considered standard for a twin xl mattress (which was unknown to Jim and ourselves at the time of purchase). While these would likely be just fine on a standard platform bed, the shorter mattresses were very evident on the adjustable bases, as my spouse and I would end up with our feet hanging off the bed. Jim immediately responded to our calls concerning this issue and attempted to determine if the issue was a manufacturing defect. It turns out that there is no enforced standard regarding mattress dimensions, and the manufacturer in question simply chose to not abide by the “suggested” standard dimension. With that being said, Jim could have very easily apologized and moved on. However, he worked with us to find a better mattress set (Wellvile 14 inch Memory Foam Latex and Innerspring Premium Hybrid Mattress), and only charged us the difference in the two at his cost. Because the original mattresses had been slept on, Jim had to eat the cost of them. I am extraordinarily satisfied with the price, level of service, and honesty we were shown during and after our purchase and afterwards. I would HIGHLY recommend. Since the original mattresses couldn’t be resold as new, they were left with us. Through our school district’s social services department, those mattresses were given to a family in need.
