We are very happy with the purchase of our mattress and our experience in purchasing. They had a great selection for all preference types. We were not sure we were going to purchase today as we were just looking for ideas and prices. Our sales person Thomas was so amazing I truly believe he was the catalyst behind purchasing today. He answered all questions, was very knowledgeable about all mattresses in the store. He asked what we thought we wanted and then gave us several options at different price points and then a couple ideas to try out . Then gave us time in a very relaxed way to think about it. No up selling or rushing us. When we finally figured out the type of Mattress we wanted and our price range he worked on the computer to give us what we wanted at the best price possible. He even contracted his manager to get us where we needed to be financially . We highly recommend Mattress Firm on Elston and don’t forget to ask for Thomas. Thank you !! Brenda

I had a great experience today (1/7) while choosing my new mattress. Stan assisted me with this and was extremely knowledgeable and professional! I had absolutely no clue how different each mattress could be. My new mattress will be delivered on Monday (1/9) which is amazing turnaround time. Side note....I found out Taylor Swift's cat is worth $97 million! Just some random conversation that was had while I was there.

Just bought a very nice plush Sealy mattress. It was my first time mattress shopping ever and one of the associates, Stan helped me out. He was extremely patient and helpful with me as I am quite indecisive. It was a great experience and I even looked other places but this firm had a great variety and I was able to find something within my budget and it was a breeze checking out and getting the mattress box. Marco is also really nice and helpful! Both of them really know what they’re talking about and I’m so happy I went there!

We went in tonight just hoping to put a mattress on our wedding registry, but after learning we are a ‘plush’ mattress couple and we’ve apparently been sleeping on an extremely old mattress that now feels like we found it in the garbage, we were sold on buying one right away. Marco and Tom were so patient as we hemmed and hawed over getting our dream mattress with a wedding to pay for, no pressure at all from them. We left feeling great and I can’t wait for my mattress to be white glove delivered! I was also reassured that they’d take out and recycle our old terrible mattress. tldr; Marco is INCREDIBLE and I'll be recommending him and this store to literally everyone. I was put in a really bad pinch with my housing, they gave everyone in my building a super-short notice as the property management company lost the lease with the owner of the building and the property management furnished all units. Marco helped me find a bed that I loved and even helped me find the same bed on clearance. At the end, I ordered everything that I needed, got all financing in order, and everything was perfectly within budget. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow and I'm still blown away at how smooth Marco made everything.

I had the very best experience yesterday shopping at Mattress Firm on Elston Avenue in Chicago and that was due to the outstanding salesperson, Marcos. I have purchased MANY mattresses in my time and never has a salesperson been so knowledgeable in this field. He explained how mattresses are designed, each brand's unique features, how these features affect your body, etc. Not only was he so knowledgeable, I didn't feel pressured to order any particular one. Cannot say enough good things about my experience at this location. Stan was phenomenal and helped us select a great mattress that was everything I hoped for and far under the budget I gave him. He did not “sell” me on a mattress as much as he genuinely educated me on my options. I was pretty happy with my experience and mattress purchase and got a great deal BUT, I didn't appreciate the lack of clear and honest information when I was purchasing. I specifically asked if they had free returns and was told yes. Then I find out that is NOT TRUE. Their sleep trial charges you $99 to pick up the mattress and there's a restocking fee of up to 20%. Thankfully, I love the mattress I got but was bummed to be lied to. Apart from that, I got financing and was never told this meant opening a credit card. I get having an account but I was surprised that credit card was never mentioned. Again, I love my purchase and the salesperson was super friendly and helpful but I advise them to be more straight forward and honest when asked questions about the purchase. I will definitely look at all the fine print next time and not trust that I'm being told all the information.

Excellent sales service done by Stanley at the Chicago location on N Elston! I went in expecting to just get a pillow but I ended up getting a mattress and a pillow for a bargain! It helped that it was on July 4th sale, but when I tried the foam mattress/gel pillow combo I immediately felt my neck stiffness start to melt away. The people here know what they’re doing!

It was actually the first time I ever purchase a bed my brothers always went to go purchase my bed. At that time it was Bedding Experts I decided to go with my daughter Mattress Firm Elston Avenue. I went looking for a Mattress at Mattress Firm for myself and my guest room. As for myself, I needed something firm because I have lower back issues. I was greeted instantly by the salesman Luis who patiently listened to the characteristics that I felt the mattress should have. He didn’t attempt to get me to break the bank, but yet he still showed me quality selections that would meet my expectations and deliver what I needed in reasonable price ranges. He allowed me to try all of the mattresses that fit my criteria. Fortunately, I found a great mattress for myself, some much needed cooling pillows, and a quality mattress for my guest room. I’m VERY happy I stopped in because I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into.

This was our first investment towards mattresses. Before this happened, we didn’t know where to go especially with the pandemic. We were so close to ordering a purple mattress online but we weren’t sure which purple type we wanted. When we arrived Marco greeted us politely and we let him know we were curious about the purple mattress. He made us feel totally comfortable right away and encouraged us to get comfortable on the mattresses in order to really test for a good sleeping fit. He asked questions to understand our sleep situation and he used a thoughtful process to help us better understand what type of mattress is a good fit for our comfort preferences. I was very weary about going into the whole new mattress purchasing process but I must admit after walking into this location my fears were put to rest (pun intended). I'm in sales so I was prepared for the hard sale pitch but I didn't feel bombarded at all. Brain, the manager at this location let me try the mattress I came in for and never interrupted the the conference call I was on once during my first visit. I was so pleased with the professionalism that I went back again to really talk business about what I wanted. I called in afterward to inquire about the bed and I was treated just the same (if not even better) than any of my previous interactions with other representatives. The young lady went hard to work finding me what I wanted at the price that I needed (it wasn't easy). I got a cal king back hybrid plus and WOW this bed is awesome! I was really concerned about getting the plush over the firm because of my need for a firm bed but in this beds case it was a perfect balance. This just goes to show to the true knowledge that this team had. Bed was delivered in the time frame I requested and I even tossed the delivery guys a $20 for going the extra mile and helping me setup my frame for the mattress to go on. All around this was top-notch experience. You can't go far in Chicago without seeing a Mattress Firm but I would travel across the city to do business with the team at this location. Purchased our Purple mattress through this location seeing as to how they have displays available and we could try them out before purchasing. I believe that Purple made a change in their mattress at the time of our purchase and didn't communicate well with Matress Firm because it took 3 weeks for our Mattress to arrive vs the original 1 week window we had received at the time of purchase. Nonetheless, Mark and Marco upgraded our purchase so that we could receive a mattress that was in stock vs. continue to wait. There are a few communication details they have to iron out (i.e. we were notified of our delayed mattress on the day of, or day prior, the scheduled delivery date each time+ when we agreed to pick up at the store no notes were made). Besides that, they were kind and patient throughout the process. Recently, we had to send in the mattress due to a manufacturer issue and Phil was great in getting our mattress replaced with ease and with white glove service of course. As for the mattress, it's hard to get out of bed in the morning due to its comfort! Great customer service.

I’m Raymond, for some reason this review is showing up under my girlfriend’s name. Imagine waking up every morning with a stiff body and always tired because you did not get a good night’s rest. That was the story of our life. So one Saturday morning we both decided to get up early and do a little shopping. We did not imagine we would be buying a mattress but we wanted to go window shop around and see what was available. We went to Michael's then on our way to target we saw a mattress firm right between starbucks and the value city furniture. We decided to stop in a see what they had, by no means were we trying to actually purchase anything. When we walked in we were greeted by Marco. I had no idea he was the store manager. He told us to look around and make ourselves feel comfortable. He allowed us to take our time and advised us to feel like we were at home. He told us we spend a third of our life on a mattress and its only right that we treat the process as though we were home and actually laying on one. So during our window shopping venture we were trying out mattresses here and there. We had no idea which one was right. Marco helped us narrow down our search and told us to rate each experience with each mattress on a scale of 1-10. All the while during our indecision he was helping out the other customers in the store. He was very professional and positive and allowed us to take as much time as we needed (about 1 & 1/2 hours we were there) he did not pressure us and in fact told us to take our time to be sure since this was an important decision. At last! Both my girlfriend and I found the one. The one mattress we both enjoyed (during this time he was able to not only assist us but also assist two other customers through their entire process and throughout the whole time he was very professional and helped us in our process). We are your average couple trying to make a living and get into our career paths so by no means are we wealthy or even middle class so to buy a mattress out right was out of the question. Marco assisted us with a great and affordable financing option! Oh and did I mention that it was 0% apr for 12months! I know most people would be like, “well thats standard” but we are also building our credit and finding affordable financing options can, at times, be difficult. When all was said and done we walked in with no intentions of buying anything and walked out with a great mattress two phenomenal pillows that are top of the line a mattress cover and box spring. Not only did Marco assist us with everything and allow us to make our decision in a comfortable environment without us feeling we were even speaking with a salesman but he also gave us a great deal and provided us with Mattress Firm’s “Red Carpet delivery” and scheduled our delivery for the next day free of charge! I have to say it was the best experience I ever had purchasing anything and it felt natural and organic. I will definitely be suggesting this particular Mattress Firm to anyone of my friends and I suggest that anyone looking to buy a mattress go here and ask for Marco. I have been a Matress Firm customer for many years but this has been a one of the best experience with the company. Me and my brother run in to a Matress Firm store by accident and wanted to look for a matress for a friend of ours that it’s staying in Chicago temporary. We where nicely greeted by Marco, (young gentleman with black hair) He went above and beyond for us, and did everything in pleasant manner. We where showed more than dozen matresses. When we finally decided witch one we wanna get, he even ask his manager to give us extra store discount, and we got our Matress for bargain price. All recommendations for Matress Firm, especially the store on Elston ave.
