We'd been to a few of the large furniture stores to look at and research new bed options when my wife happened to see Mattress RX while out shopping with a friend. She went in, and spoke with Bob who was super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She told me about her experience there, and the fact that they sell mattresses made right here in Idaho, and others made in Washington state, and I was in. Her and I went back together, and worked with Andrew. He too was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their store isn't huge, but they have a great selection in-stock, and all of the same brands that had caught our eye(s) at the BIG stores. Their pricing was amazing too, so we ordered a nice new mattress and an adjustable base, and we look forward to taking delivery here in another week or two, and the better sleep that a much nicer bed will provide us. Thanks again for all of your help and expertise Bob and Andrew! We really appreciate it!

We finally decided to pull the trigger and replace our old mattress after over a decade. Harry was fantastic and really helped us walk through and fit the best mattress to our needs. He was great at providing information on the products and made sure it was on our price range and didn't even try to show us anything high, definitely not pushy. We feel we were well educated and able to really feel good about our choice. Oh, and he was able to help us get a great deal that we feel was a great value with a great warranty on our Dream Bed!

Israel was extremely helpful in finding me a mattress I was comfortable on. I had not purchased a mattress in 20 years and wasn't sure what I was even looking for. He fought me a great deal on a king mattress, box springs, and frame. Since it was in stock they weee able to deliver it the next business day. They movers were here at the time frame promised. This company is amazing!! Hands down one of the easiest, least stressful experiences ever. We walked in and were instantly greeted by the owner. After speaking with him, Jason Hays took over and he was fantastic. He walked us through our preferences, had us lay on several beds to make sure the bed we loved was the one for us, never tried to oversell us and listened when we gave them our budget. We should all support local and that is the reason we chose to go there and I am so happy we did. Our bed was delivered and set up today. The delivery guys were awesome and took our old mattress and box spring away for us. I would (and already have!) recommend this company to anyone.

Went searching for a mattress today to replace my old one that had worn down and was causing my body a lot of pain. Richard helped me for hours as I tried to make a decision. He was extremely patient and genuinely wanted to help me get a new mattress and feel better. COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE! Definitely the hit store for mattresses! My dad and I went searching to 4 other places that were completely over priced for what they were offering. It’s also hard to find something low in price for a foam, and during this time of year in July. I was looking for a foam bed size queen that will last me a few years around $300 and I found it here. Luckily, the gentlemen that was working (unfortunately forgot his name) was very kind and gave us $50 off! We paid a total of $348 for a queen foam mattress that feels like a cloud! I’m very excited to sleep now :)

If you need a mattress you have to go talk to Andrew. He was able to walk us through all the details of mattresses in an easy and logical way. At Mattress RX they are more concerned about you having a better and healthier sleep than the bottom line of your purchase price. Truly amazing that they were able to find a mattress and adjustable base to help aid our body ailments. Having had hip surgery, my wife has never found something that helps her sleep, while also getting ride of her hip pain. Locally owned and operated this store is the low pressure environment you are looking for. All this PLUS a price way way way lower than the big box stores!!! It's funny how this review sounds like one of those ones that you see as marketing material, but this is truly how I feel. Andrew is an amazing person and I would suggest not going anywhere else for a mattress.

We needed to pick up a mattress today and weren’t sure they would have what we needed within the time window so we checked with a big box store and the prices were astronomical and they would need to order the product still. I had been looking for a mattress for a few weeks before going into MattressRX. I knew the price point from other retailers and was really surprised by how competitive they were. I was really impressed with how they took care of me. I ended up getting a king, and adjustable base, which is awesome. They set an date to deliver and said someone would call the night before to confirm. To my surprise they called exactly when they said they would and delivered right on time the next day. The reason I was surprised is no one does what the say anymore but they did great. If you're looking for a mattress do yourself a favor and go to Mattress RX, you'll save money and get great customer support.

Fantastic customer service! We had a mattress order from another company cancelled the day it was supposed to be delivered. We needed a bed within 5 days. We decided to visit Mattress Rx since it is locally owned. When we walked in, Shawn greeted us right away even though he was as helping some other customers. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything in our price range for a guest room in the store. Shawn offered to call the owners to see what he could find and get something to us within the time frame we needed. We left the store and within 20 minutes Shawn called me back and said he had some options. I stopped in here looking for a locally made mattress that mentioned they retail here. A friend has had one for a long time and loves it. The sales person was knowledgeable and not high pressure. At all. We ended up purchasing that local brand. The size we needed had to be ordered. I got home and remembered I had company coming. Hence my reason to dash in there with haste that evening. But the mattress was on order and the arrival date was after my company's arrival date. I called the manufacturer...see if they could hustle their bustle. But really about a route and a truck and stuff and things. So I called Mattress RX and talked to their warehouse manager. He said he wasn't sure, but he'd try. And it'd take a couple days to see if the mattress could be hurried along. I know what you are thinking. That was what I was thinking. Last time I'd hear from them. Not so. That mattress was waiting for me a day before my company came and the warehouse manager called the exact time he'd previously mentioned he'd know. It was service that just doesn't exist anymore. And the local mattress is wonderful. Absolutely sleep-through-the-night-and-don't-hurt wonderful.

Purchased a new bed set at the boise location today and I have to say. They deserve much more than 5 stars. I had to pleasure to meet Bob and learn more about what bed would be more beneficial for my physical and mental health. Bob is truly one of the most genuine sympathetic/empathetic business man I've ever met. He truly cared about getting me on to something much more beneficial than my current mattress but he didnt try to gouge my pockets. I spent well over an hour inside the store really taking the time to test out these beds and he made me feel more than welcomed and not rushed at all. In fact he encouraged me to really lay there and relax to figure out which bed was for me. I felt like a human being not a dollar sign while interacting with Bob there, and to me that meant alot. I HIGHLY recommend mattress rx to anyone in need of a bed.
