I came in and told them that I wanted queen sized, coiled and firm and told them my price point. The first thing that they do is put you on this bed that ‘analyzes’ you while you watch this commercial that says that you don’t really know what you want when looking for a bed. It felt very fake. I can appreciate the tactic if I came in asking for help but I was clear about what I wanted from the start and felt dismissed. I felt very ‘handled’ and was honestly getting mad that my time was being wasted when I was clear about what I wanted. I was then shown a variety of beds, the majority of them soft to medium foam mattresses. At the end of the day however price is king and they were just one of a list of stores that I was visiting. I ended up going with a competitor that was currently running a sale and saved over $500. If I were going off service alone I still would have gone with the other place. They showed me exactly what I wanted and helped me narrow it to 3 contenders and then explained their sale very transparently. I appreciated that and I’m sleeping amazing on my new mattress

I went to the Mattress Warehouse in Arundel Mills. I've been to a few stores previously. I had the pleasure of working with Wayne. He doesn't sell mattresses, he sells "a sleep experience!" I let him know my budget and he had me try different beds, even though he had already told me which bed would best for me. I was buying for my daughter and grandson, so we had them come out to test the beds. He had them experience the beds also. He let us know what choices we had concerning the frames and mattress protectors and let us decide on which to purchase. There was no "pushing" products on us. We did purchase two queen size beds. Wayne normally works in the Glen Burnie store, so if you're in the market for a bed, go see him! You won't be disappointed.

11/2/2017 - Stopped into the showroom this evening after perusing the online website and discussed possibilities with Phillip over the phone. I showed up a little after 8pm and told him I talked to him earlier today. He proceeded to pull out a twin-size mattress but I stopped him as I was expecting a full-sized bed. Realizing our miscommunication (likely my fault) he quickly sat down at his desk and we talked about getting a full-sized bed instead and walked me through what my options were. I ended up getting a full-size bed that 10x better at less that $65 more and a full-size bed. Struck a bit of luck! He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I could tell he was learned about different brands and comfort-levels of the beds in and out of the warehouse. This is the kind of person that cared about what he did and the people to whom he was selling. This store is easy to see from Arundel Mills Blvd and on the edge of shopping center area across from the mall. Plenty of parking available. Inside, it is clean and tidy. There are men's and women's restrooms and plenty of beds to demo. I recommend this store for great deals and a friendly clerk.

Kevin was wonderful and I had a good experience finding a mattress in a reasonable amount of time. Kevin knew what mattresses to show me based on a price point and a couple of other details, and he even helps to get mattresses out with a sprained finger so I could try them. The experience was actually pretty painless and Kevin also helped me to get the best price point, which was so appreciated! I highly recommend the store, which has a great selection, and go see Kevin!

We visited this location a couple of times looking for the right bed. Both of our visits were great, we received a lot of good info and recommendations and ultimately, through lots of testing and questions, we’re the excited new owners of a great Tempur bed system! All of the people on the floor were knowledgeable and patient as we worked out our best option. Dan was great! He helped me pick out the perfect mattress for my son. He was knowledgeable and I could tell he enjoyed his work. The only reason for 4 stars is Jack, or should I say jackass! Dan introduced him; my husband and I both spoke to him and he never looked up from his phone. If it weren't for Dan's pleasant customer service, I would have walked out. Today I bought a new full mattress for my son and a Nectar mattress for myself. I've been wanting the Nectar but hadn't even thought about getting it today until I saw it in the store. Kevin said if I got both he could probably work out a good deal for me. Kevin was also very helpful in discussing all of the different options I needed to consider - frame, box spring, warranties. Our experience was pleasant. Kate was friendly and professional. She listened to our concerns and what we were looking for in terms of finding a quality mattress. She showed us three options for a mattress based on our personal information entered into computer program. We had such a friendly and welcoming experience. We went twice, once to try out all the mattresses and do the test they have and a second time to pick one out. Both times they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Laney took care of us both times and he completely understood our position we were in and didn’t push us. She had me do the test which determines the best sleep options for you and did not let me feel rushed as I retried several if the beds. Kevin the store manager did a very good job, didn't try to oversell us, added a mattress cover at no cost. We did the sleep test. results wasn't quite what we like but it was useful. I bought a a Tempurpedic bed here a little over a month ago. Kevin, the store manager, was great. He showed me the beds that fit my needs. He was very nice when I came back the next day second guessing my choice. Delivery was quick and it arrived a week later. (It could have been sooner but I preferred a Saturday delivery.) Tempurpedic generally comes with some free accessory credit. I used the credit to buy a mattress protector and a pillow. The pillow had to be ordered because they didn't have what I wanted in stock. The original mattress protector I bought slept very warm on the Tempurpedic (for me) the first night. The next day I went back to the store and was able to exchange the pillow (that still wasn't in) for a different mattress protector. The new protector was much cooler and made a huge difference in temperature. Kevin helped me with the exchange and I was in and out.

First time buying a mattress from this store was in May 2020. This was when Mattress Warehouse was following strict safety guidelines and met with people through appointments only. That first appointment I walked away with a mattress and service that is worth the five stars given. The second visit was this month and it was to inquire if Mattress Warehouse does in house pickups for their mattress's when moving. The store manager Kevin said they do not. The purpose of the visit was to ask that question. We ended up talking about sales and what can be done if moving out of state. In the end Kevin was able to work with my future status and lock-in a promotional price for one of their Kingsdown. I recommend this store because of the patient approach the associates have. It is easy to enter in to predatory sales tactics and with how many places are looking to win peoples business because of COVID there has to be some middle ground. It looks like businesses are offering more options to people because they understand that not only one item will cater to their clienteles. Mattress Warehouse has that for their customers and offer a personalized test on-site to fit the best type of mattress for each person. I understand that businesses must win their customers to keep the lights on. However when Kevin and I were talking I felt as though we were talking like people and not a dollar sign walking around. That can come later when sitting down at the desk.

I haven't purchased a mattress in 12+ years. I was amazed at how much things have changed. I met Phillip when I entered the store. He was extremely pleasant and really listened to what I was looking for. He then explained the computer that would help figure out what was best for me. Afterwards, he showed me all the options I had in various price ranges. He is very knowledgeable and professional about the products. After selecting the best bed for me, we worked out the overall details of my purchase. And the best news was everything could be delivered the next day ! I couldn't be more pleased with the whole transaction. Phillip is an asset to your company. I will definitely refer friends to him if they are looking for mattresses. Also, finally, the delivery process went just as he mentioned. I got the email with a 3 hour delivery window, I got the phone call approximately 10 minutes before they arrived, and they were right on time. The 2 gentlemen were very polite and cautious about my walls/ceilings while taking a king size bed up to the second floor. They were very patient while I quickly got up the pet hair that accumulated. I am glad I bought my bed from Phillip and the delivery went so smoothly 😊

They called the day before to confirm delivery. Then they called at 7:30 in the morning the next day to confirm delivery. I wasn't too crazy about that. Then they called 10 minutes before delivery. I appreciate they want to ensure delivery, just maybe don't call so early next time, especially when I already confirmed delivery the day before.

However my spouse and I both recall the salesman telling us that the box spring was available in standard or low profile; then after the sale was complete, when we confirmed that our order included a low profile box spring, the salesman indicated that it was only available in standard and that he had told us that. We both remember him saying otherwise in-store.

Hello. Everything was perfect until the frame was delivered for my son. It said it was a full queen frame which means it should have had a middle rail. This one did not have a middle rail and we are not able to use it. I have emailed the general manager of the store twice this week and no reply. When I get a reply and this issue is settled and fixed I will update to five stars. Right now it feels like I was dealing with a very pushy salesman and now that the sale is complete he does not care anymore.

This way I would not have to order additional materials to attach the headboard to the adjustable base. The effort he put in to make sure I found the right bed was just ridiculous he didn't seem pushy at all and he didn't care about the sale at all he just wanted to make sure that I was getting a good night's sleep. I went in to buy a mattress with my girlfriend, but now I fear for our relationship as I fell in love with Brandon. Buying a mattress is tough, but working with Brandon made me feel safer and more important than a newborn baby in a dystopian future where women can't get pregnant. Brandon told me his own tales of despair regarding lack of middle third spinal support and overpriced products; truly he is a tragic hero on par with those of the great classical storytellers, and certainly he was the hero I needed today. Before you ask: no I was not paid to make this review - I'm just really hyped for this mattress.

We selected a queen size Aireloom mattress with an adjustable base. We received a competitive price and arranged delivery. Delivery and set up was a breeze (at least for us; I felt sorry for the delivery guys who had to carry it up two flights of narrow stairs). Phil was extremely responsive to a few requests we had after the purchase (ensure delivery of the warranty paperwork, new pillow, etc.) We've had the mattress and base for a couple months now and love it. As a matter of fact, we drop my every now and then just to say "hi" to Phil. Would definitely recommend Mattress Warehouse and Phil to anyone! Thank you!

Good = bed match machine, salesman, the bed's comfort itself Bad = high cost, no "regular" beds anymore (all are soft foam, I got the most firm of those), bed 4" higher than old bed even with low profile box spring, bed turned out to be a twin XL size and not a regular twin which the delivery guys forced in to my old frame and now I can't get mattress cover or fitted sheets on correctly because they're too small, and I can't get my fingers between the bed and the mattress, e-mailed company and never got a response.

WHEN I ENTER MATTRESS WAREHOUSE, I MET MR. DAY, WHO WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, CALM AND VERY KNOWLEDGABLE OF MATTRESSES. HIS PRIMARY GOAL WAS TO SHOW ME THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A MATTRESS THAT WAS MATCHED TO ME PERSONALLY (USING THE MATTRESS MATCH MACHINE) AND THE REST OF THE TYPICAL MATTRESSES THAT IS CURRENTLY SOLD ON THE MARKET.
