I'll admit to being nervous about going into a mattress store, but on my first visit if met with Geoff Raylinski and Yvonna. They answered questions clearly and I was very comfortable working with them. So comfortable in fact, that when I had thought about my options, done some additional research on line and decided what I want, I intentionally went in when I knew one of them would be in-store. "Tested" again the mattresses on my shortlist and made a purchase. My mattress was delivered today and I have every sense that it will be great.

Mattress Firm in Athen, GA is THE place to go! Everyone there is so nice and they make shopping for a mattress fun! Ask for Jacque. She was incredible! So knowledgeable and so helpful. The store was busy with their Labor Day Sale, but she was able to juggle 2-3 groups of shoppers without losing any of us. She took her time with each group, explained to the rest of us what she was doing, had an associate (who was equally as nice and knowledgeable) check on us until she was free. The team worked like a well-oiled machine. I went in to buy 2 mattresses but with the discounts she gave me, I ended up buying 3 and only spent $200 more than I had in my mind to pay for the 2! To me buying a mattress is an odious task, but now I’m wondering why! Thank you Jacque!

My 87-year-old daddy was admitted to the hospital and his doctors and nurses stated that he would be there for several days. However, after much prayer, he was discharged in two days. The doctors suggested an adjustable bed but it's noon and we need to pick up daddy and have the bed in place by 3:00. That's where Kevin turned the impossible into possible. After locating the adjustable bed frame, he also found a mattress that would help my father with his neck and back condition. Kevin was very patience, kind, and understanding. And for that, I want to say "Thank you"! You took a very limited time situation and resolve the problems within minutes after several phone calls on my part. This goes without saying, there are still some good people in this world that believes in giving excellent customer service. I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into this situation. You made a huge difference in my daddy's life as well as the family. If you are reading this comment and wondering if this is the right place to purchase a bed or mattress... Nothing but great things to say about how helpful this store and staff were. I called (I live out of state) to inquire about purchasing a mattress set. The salesperson was super helpful. My daughter went later that day and was able to get in store help from the same salesperson. When I found the price online was much less than in the store for the set selected, there was no hesitation about giving the lower price. The delivery was just as seamless. Two hour window confirmed the night before. They showed up on time and called ahead to make sure we would be there. The were fast and efficient. In a time when most retail sites are understaffed and current staff are stretched thin, this team was exceptional.

We had a wonderful experience with Mattress Firm. Kevin spent a great deal of time with my elderly parents (and my husband and myself) to help them pick the perfect mattress. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. When the mattress was delivered to them, there was a problem with the height and the installers had already left the job. We called the store and spoke to Kenny and he assured us he would try to find a solution. At that point he and Kevin went to my parents' home and the two of them adjusted the mattress and made sure that my mother would have no problem getting in and out of the bed. I do believe Kevin may have come in from his day off to help with this! As soon as we entered the store, David, the new associate, greeted us with a big smile, stood up from his chair and welcomed us. Throughout our time at the store, all the associates were very helpful and, above all, they didn't try to rush us to buying. They walked through the store and showed us everything that we needed to see before settling on a mattress that we liked. The actual process of purchasing was done quickly and professionally. Kevin, the manager, was extremely accommodating. Customer service didn't end at "register". He walked us out the door, making sure we felt well taken care of from start to finish. Last but not least, he also made balloons for our little girls who were also enjoying playing at the Lego table. Oh, and the mattress and box spring was delivered to us the very next day. When we told our salesman (Kenny) that our stop at Mattress Firm was our fifth and final stop in our shopping trip for a mattress, he told us it should've been our first, and then we wouldn't have needed to go elsewhere. He was right. He met (and beat by 10%) the lowest price of the mattress we wanted, and then found an almost identical version of the same mattress on their website for $200 less. I was pleased with the deal. Can't wait to get the mattress.

Edit on the bottom...... 3/25/2021 We went looking for a queen mattress with adjustable base with a lifting head and foot. For my mother in law. Matt was our salesperson in the Bethlehem Georgia store. He was very helpful. We chose not to take the 120 day comfort policy (one exchange if not satisfied within 4 months ) for a slightly lower price. Matt said it did not effect the 10 year mattress warranty nor the 10 year adjustable base warranty. We paid $2170 for everything. Including tax, delivery, set up and queen size mattress pad. So far were happy with the purchase seeing as they asked for a review 40 mins after purchase but will let you know. 5* review so far. Fingers crossed it stays that was and there's no mattress issues that aren't address in the future. 3/28/2021 Ok... Edit on my review. My mother in law's adjustable mattress was delivered today. It was pouring rain...hard. The two deliver men were fantastic. They set up the bed. Then lowered it because it was to high. Then they showed me how to operate the control. I had been sleeping on the same mattress for many years, and I was not looking forward to mattress shopping. Being disabled, I was dreading having to go into a store and try out a lot of beds, and I was also overwhelmed by the choices I saw online. I finally walked into Mattress Firm, and Kevin greeted me as I was walking in the door and I told him about my mobility issues. He knew right away that the soft and medium firm mattresses, as well as any mattress with memory foam, would be problematic for me. He immediately steered me in the right direction and I only needed to try two (reasonably priced) mattresses to make my choice. I was also wanted an adjustable frame so that I could raise my head up to read and my legs up to decrease swelling. With Kevin’s expert help, I had my mattress and frame picked out quickly and there was definitely no pressure or feeling that he was trying to make a bigger sale. He made it all about my comfort and happiness and told me that if there were any issues once it was delivered to let him know. The bed arrived and it was too high. The delivery guys shortened the legs, but it still felt uncomfortably high. After trying to make it work for a few days, I called Kevin and he came out to my house and personally changed the legs to a shorter set that was just right. I was impressed by his kindness and that a business would employ people who care about their customers and their satisfaction, something you don’t often see these days. I was told that a new mattress could take some getting used to, but I fell in love with my mattress and frame right away. I bought the Simmons Beautyrest World Class Bridgewater 13.5 inch firm mattress and the Serta Motion iSeries adjustable frame and both were on a great sale. Previously, I woke up with neck and back pain every day, but that has not happened since I got my new bed. I assumed that being a side sleeper, I would lie flat when sleeping and only use the adjustable features when I was awake, but I have found that having the head and feet slightly elevated while being on my side is a wonderful feeling.

Me and my family came in on a Sunday and it was fairly busy. There were only two employees(Jacque & Yvonna)and they did an awesome job. Jacque was my saleswomen. Both were very nice and took their time to let me try multiple mattresses until I found the one I wanted. They worked very efficiently with their time and we never felt rusehed. I got a Mattess, boxspring, and a mattress protector all under the price that I intended to purchase just a mattress. I would definitely recommend Matress Firm to my friends and family. I am currently laying on it now typing this review and boy does it feel AMAZING! I should of bought it sooner! Fast delivery I purchased it Sunday and laying on it Tuesday evening 🙌
