Love affordable bedding Asheville! This was my second time purchasing a mattress there and Patrick helped me both times (Great service.) The first mattress I received was amazing! Delivery guys were helpful, careful, and nice as well. This time I got an upgrade for myself and I’m putting the first mattress I purchased in the guest bedroom. Let me tell you, I almost passed out “testing” the new mattress out. Thank you Patrick! I recommend this place for all my friends who need bedroom furniture! P.S. I noticed some comfy futons in there as well.

Second large purchase from Patrick. I had so many compliments from guests who stayed in my guest bedroom, I decided to purchase the same mattress for a short term rental home. I slept on the mattress and it was wonderful. This store has high end mattresses for a fair price. If I could give a million stars, I would! Patrick was so awesome to work with. He helped us pick out the absolute best possible bed and we came in under budget because they really do have the best prices when you compare - it's wild. This was my first mattress purchase through Affordable Bedding and I'll never go anywhere else! The quality of the products they carry as well as personalized customer service is above and beyond anything that can be offered through a big box brick and mortar or on the web. Patrick really knows his stuff and takes time with each customer to ensure they are fitted with the correct mattress for their specific needs - side sleeper, back sleeper, stomach sleeper, firm or soft mattress preference - who knew there were so many things to consider?! No pressure to purchase on the spot or sales pitch, just authentic and personable service. Also, depending on which mattress you select they offer free delivery. My father-in-law recently needed a new bed but he couldn't leave his facility. I was concerned I wouldn't pick out the right model. However, Patrick with affordable bedding did a super job sussing out the situation and asking me questions about things I wouldn't have thought to think about. For example, it didn't occur to me that I needed to make the right choice for a box spring based on height. However, had I chosen the wrong height, my father-in-law would have had a hard time getting in-and-out of the bed. I visited all the mattress stores in Asheville and ended up buying a bed in a box online (Dreamcloud) which I returned due to insufficient edge support. I decided to check out Affordable Bedding and I wish I had come here first! They carry Kingsdown mattresses (employee owned company!) made here in North Carolina and it is a far superior mattress to all the other mattresses I tried. Finally a luxury mattress for a very affordable price. Super pleased with my new bed! Thank you Patrick!

We ordered a bed on Wednesday and had it delivered on Thursday all the way down in Spartanburg. Hard to argue with that. And the guys that delivered and set it up were very prompt and professional. And this bed was much less expensive than all the ads I was getting on Facebook and seems to be excelent quality so far. Great service and the fact that Pat sent me homemade cookies had no influence on this review!

I was able to get a bed and have it delivered the same day since I arrived early enough at the store! They are super knowledgeable and happy to help, making a recommendation based on sleeping position. This is a quintessential family-owned business. They said the vast majority of their revenue stays in Asheville. Felt clean and never pressured. I also appreciated that they actually pointed me to a clearance bed first instead of pulling the "used car salesman trick" of starting with the highest bed and working down AKA price anchoring. I felt like they wanted to sell me a bed I would be comfortable with and weren't simply out to make the most money. They had some good deals, most ranging in the $500 - 1500 range for a king size, with box spring. Delivery to my Asheville apt was a totally reasonable $55.

You don't get a Goggle rating of 4.8 for shoddy service or products. Patrick was terrific. I'd slept on an older Kingdown mattress that a friend had and knew I had to finally get rid of my 7 y/o firm one. I took the Best Match survey and with this info Patrick directed me to 3 mattresses he felt would work. He answered my questions, didn't hover but stayed engaged to let me know he was paying attention to me. I like dealing with local businesses. Patrick made it easy. Price was right; delivery was on time; and bed set up as he said it would be. If you're looking for a new mattress, include Affordable Bedding in your search. You won't be disappointed. Oh - and I'm having the best nights sleep ever!

Definitely would recommend! My boyfriend and I moved to Asheville recently from New York and have been on the search for a new mattress. After going to about 5 or 6 other stores, we came across affordable bedding. They had by far the best prices and extremely down to earth, helpful and welcoming staff! Patrick that owns the place is amazing. He is friendly, knowledgable, has a good sense of humor, and helps you find what is right for you. He isn't trying to squeeze you outta your comfort zone, he's quite literally getting you into your comfort zone. I had a great experience, he has what I need in stock, they're delivering and setting everything up for free in 2 days, what more can you ask for? (I mean you could throw in the pillow I could ask for that, just kiddin! 😉) Forget about the nice deal on craigslist that comes with a free side of bedbugs, just go to Affordable Bedding and I'll see you in your dreams.

I just bought my fourth mattress from Affordable Bedding and I cannot say enough good things about their products or them as a company. When we bought our third mattress a couple years ago, we had a newborn and my partner was recovering from surgery. They went out of their way to make sure we got the new (desperately needed) mattress quickly and conveniently. Patrick is a delight to work with to find the just the right mattress to suit your needs. And to make them even more amazing, they source a lot of their inventory from right here in North Carolina. They also only carry mattresses that have high indoor air quality certifications, so you know you or your family members aren’t sleeping on something off gassing a mess of toxic fumes. We didn’t know it was possible to be in love with a mattress until we made our first purchase from Affordable Bedding 8 years ago. Love them. Love buying from a great local business. They’re fabulous folks.

All of my questions were answered and I left with an order for a new mattress and its delivery. I have never bought a bed this quickly before and I have not been sorry about my decision. You can't go wrong at Affordable Bedding, Inc. This is a small family owned business. Most bed stores have way too many options and very pushy sales folks. Affordable bedding will listen to what you want and offer reasonably priced options. Kevin was in the store when I arrived and really was an excellent salesman. I know that people have called him the "sleep whisperer!" I needed a nice bed for a new home that I rented. I was given options between $225 and $425. I paid a small fee to have the bed delivered and Jake and Octavia did a wonderful job moving the bed and met my schedule on the very day that I got the keys. The bed is really comfortable. Jake and Octavia have also helped me move twice since I purchased the bed. They loaded all my furniture, took it to the new house and unloaded it without a scratch to the walls or damage to the furniture. Of course, they set the bed up again. They worked very quickly and were a joy to work with. Stop in for a no-hassle shopping experience. Good product and excellent service. Support a local small business.

My boyfriend and I went to about 6 different mattress stores in the Asheville area. We had talked about having a reasonable budget since we just bought a house. We found several mattresses that were relatively comfortable and at the top of our price range. We fell in love with a Kingsdown mattress in North Asheville but it was triple the amount of our top budget. Affordable Bedding was one of our stops along our shopping trip and ended up being our last. We found a Kingsdown mattress that was almost the same as the one we'd found earlier but was $3000 cheaper (yes, THOUSAND) and we picked it up as soon as we purchased it. It's definitely a little family owned business. Patrick was our salesman and he was personable, funny, and knowledgeable. We had our 10 year old with us and Patrick's mother was in the store. She always puts stuffed animals on all the beds for any kid that comes in to take one home, whether we make a purchase or not. I'm beyond impressed. If you're looking for a mattress in the Asheville area, dont make the mistake we made. Make Affordable Bedding your FIRST stop because I guarantee it will also be your last.

The delivery crew was a couple of respectful, competent and fun young folks; one a woman (yes, women can carry mattresses, too; thank you for understanding that fact!). They have several choices in mattresses that are not made in the conventional way (with chemicals that a healthy human doesn't really want to spend 1/3 of their lives breathing). I’m very happy with my new full size mattress. It’s very comfortable and the price was reasonable. My mother-in-law slept on it for two weeks while staying at our house and said it was the most comfortable mattress she’d ever slept on! Our cats love it too! The best mattresses, the best customer service, the best experience I have had when buying a bed. I first bought a bed here when I moved to Asheville in 2009. At the time of delivery, the bed I had bought ended up being out of stock due to an oversight, and the store upgraded me for free to a mattress worth double what I paid. Amazing! and it's the best bed I've ever owned, Kingsdown, which now I found out is hand made and made in the USA. A few days ago I went in to buy a bed for my grandmother and Patrick who is the owner was amazing to work with. I bought a Kingsdown again and am so excited!! Patrick really carries only the best and knows all there is to know about mattresses and the rest. I recommend this store 200% and will only come here for all my mattress needs.

Patrick gave me enough information to consider and suggested a starting point on how to make a decision. Then it was just like Goldilocks - I tried the super soft, the middle of the road, and the super firm, and found one that suited me “just right.” Their 12-month interest-free financing made it even easier to just choose based on comfort. Because I live pretty far from the store, I was a little concerned about delivery, but that was reasonably priced too and the guys called when they were on the way & showed up right on time. I’ve been waking up for a couple of months with pain in my right hip, but the first morning I woke after a night’s sleep on my new mattress, there’s no more hip pain! Yay! I love my new mattress and appreciate Patrick and his team for making the process easy!

We felt so comfortable the moment we walked in, with the wonderful service, the friendly prices and the mattresses. It was really hard to choose, because everything was super comfortable. It took us forever but the owner was happy to explain everything we wanted to know and gave us the time to really feel and explore. Eventually we picked the silver kingsdown mattress and it was our best decision! After 6 months I can assure you this is the greatest sleep we had in our whole life. Great experience with Affordable Bedding from my first phone call through to delivery. Rebecca was wonderful and I felt very comfortable in the store as I "tried out" various mattress options. I explained some of the problems I've had in the past with back pain and "valley" contour after a few yrs. The mattress I bought has a 10yr warranty AND if I have any problems in the next week or so with the mattress I chose they will work with me on an exchange. Delivery is included, for free, and they will haul off your old mattress and box spring as well. I know, right?! Also I told Rebecca I had been sleeping on my sofa because my old bed was so bad, and Patrick went the extra mile and delivered my bed that same evening. I'm so excited to sleep on my new mattress!
