I have been going here for many years. Very rarely have I had a massage that wasn't excellent and I've had them from students & graduates. My most recent was with Becky B and she's wonderful. Another memorable therapist is Eternity. They are both able to apply a deeper pressure, if needed. All of the therapists have been professional and pleasant.

I have been here several times and am usually quite satisfied. as a note, if you like a type of massage or individual mention it at time of schedule. my last visit was terrible the therapist felt more like a beginner student. hesitant with contact and seemed to work in a fashion I was unaccustomed to for an hour and a half i left feeling very dissatisfied. so usually a great place but can be iffy.

My dad and I got 1.5 hour massages here with professionals (not students). My father absolutely loved his masseuse!! Apparently she was firm and focused on his problems areas throughout the 1.5 hour massage. My experience was the total opposite (very soft touch, with a primary focus on my arms)… pretty disappointing. I’ll be returning because this hasn’t been my experience in the past; however, today was not great.

I have been going to Fuller for years!!! They never disappoint!! Today was no exception, I had Alfred. I usually use a woman, with a lighter hand, but I felt really tight today and needed a deep tissue massage. Unfortunately I arrived about 10 minutes late, yes it cuts into your time if you’re not there!!! I should’ve known this!!! But, he didn’t have the time to get anything other than my back, neck, and front shoulders some. I asked him to focus on these areas as well. Well, let me tell you. I’ve had a lot of massages, professional and otherwise, I’ve been to the chiropractor (which I always love because I have great success at cracking) but, this man, Alfred, touched my pain like no one ever has!! Maybe it’s because I was just SO sore, I almost jumped off the table many times. My shoulder muscles are jacked up!! Something is definitely wrong with them!! Arthritis or something else. Same as my neck. I know I have scoliosis and a 30 degree angle in my spine, I have slipped discs in my neck, and protruding discs in my back, degeneration of my disc, fibroid lumps in the lower back, and intense swelling and pain in the left shoulder and side of neck (from a car accident) Alfred put his hands on every exact spot that I hurt. It was close to unbearable at the time, some people would NOT enjoy the pressure I was receiving, but as I breathed through the pain, it started to recess some. Hallelujah!! My shoulders feel better tonight than they have in months. Thank you Alfred, I will definitely be back to see you and get some more work put in to this mess of a back!! So Happy!!!

For nearly 20 years I have been utilizing the perseverance-driven talent of the therapist and students who care about their clients at this location. I just brought my boyfriend down from Williamsburg for his first massage ever, and he's 53... He was blown away of course, and he was lucky enough to have a sports therapist that day, without even asking for one, because he has a 6 ft 2 body like a brick house. I would highly recommend anyone you love being nurtured and cared for by this place that has so many options with their billing, anyone can afford it.....💜....5+stars!!

Wonderful therapeutic massage today with Clarence. He really heard me when explaining my problem area & tailored the treatment accordingly. Pressure was pretty intense at times but I know that's what is needed to help me recover from a shoulder injury. Plan to return in the next few weeks & will definitely request Clarence for my therapist again.

This 1 hour massage was not planned, and I was a walk in on a Tuesday afternoon. They were able to schedule me with the only 1 hr. massage available that day with in the hour. While sitting in the waiting area was awed at the professional, kind and busy bunch of folks that work up front, and the therapist (students, and graduates)! It had been awhile since I went last but the appts I booked for my daughter and husband were not at the top of their game this visit. They had the same massage therapist for both appts back to back. My daughter was in need of back, neck and legs relief. Most of the time was spent on neck& back but unfortunately not enough release happened. The legs were left out as time ran out. Hubby said he received relief from an under arm stress but the rest of the massage was kind of lacking. Everyone has a bad day. I will try again not giving up on this school of massage.😌

First let me say this is my fourth deep tissue massage with the Fuller School of massage therapy, their staff is wonderful. My therapist this time was Albert who was absolutely by far the best therapist i have used, he was amazing. My back is extremely bad, so many knots and so stress points. I've done the doctor route the therapy route, spinal injections steroid, dry needling you name it I've had it done. Albert recommended I have an Epson salt bath (which is magnesium great for muscle relax) along with stretching which I'm going to do along with the message therapy. I was on my way to recovery using the Fuller school last March when Covid hit. I'm so happy that I am now able to go back to get the care I so much need thanks to everyone at the Fuller School!

My husband and I have been going to Advanced Fuller School for 5 years. We do double massage appointments about every week. The desk personnel are so friendly and I find the therapists are the best ever! I travel all over the United States and overseas and these therapist are top notch. The price of $40 for 1 hour is unbeatable. I paid $140 in California and it could not compare. If you are looking for a quality massage experience and a fantastic price this is the place to go. Can't wait till my next one next week!

I love this place and have been coming here for years! All the therapists and students are great and everyone has a unique style. This is great when you feel like having different types of massage; deep, sports, relaxing, stone etc. They are all really great about clients seeing different therapists depending on your needs for the day and they never make you feel bad about switching. All they care about is you taking care of yourself. Calling or checking in at the front desk can be a little chaotic, but you'll get that anywhere 20 massages at the same time are going on. The people at the front desk have a lot to deal with, be the one person to give them a break that day by smiling and being polite and patient. Here are some recommendations: Deep/therapeutic: Peggy, Lindsay Sports: Keith, Colleen Relaxing: Brenda Rodgers, Ursula Stone: Eco, Clarence Those are just a few out of almost 90 therapists and students, if one doesn't meet your needs, keep trying different therapists. Remember those that you like, sometimes the front desk can give recommendations depending on what you're looking for or who you liked. Thanks Fuller for everything, you've all changed my life!

Let me start off by saying I love Fuller school of massage. The price is great and they are always friendly. My only issue is that there is a huge difference between therapist techniques/ skills ( I always pay for the graduates). My work schedule prevents having a "regular" therapist, so when ever I go it's a crap shoot if I get a good one. last time I had Corrine who was AWESOME. this time I had Christina who has good hands but unfortunately doesn't have good technique. from the first five minutes I knew it was going to be a disappointment and immediately wished I had only paid for 30min. instead of the 1 1/2.

We only go here for massage because they have the best price,service,same day appoinments,friendly and accomodating. There are times it gets crowded which is good, it means people love it and they keep coming back. Me and my wife went here last month and they have this large room with some decorations. Wish they can have all rooms set up like that to feel more relaxing. They also play music and you have the option to add aromatherapy. Each therapist have their own technique, I recommend Tammy which seems she's been doing it for years and very friendly.

He could not have been more through. The best massage I have had in years. I went in to see him and my entire body was sore and I was in alot of pain. James hands were like magic. I was transitioning out the military through disability retirement, and upon several changes in potential career paths I found myself pursuing a career in massage therapy. I had never been to Fuller before but I did have several people recommending me to check out Fuller for school. I was interviewed by the director of the school, Nancy for information for the academics and interest in becoming a student. During the interview she asked me of my interest in pursing massage therapy and reviews over the curriculum, and how demanding it is. She recommended me that students should dedicate 10-20 hours for weekly studying and to bring a voice recorder for lectures. Shortly after the interview I enrolled in the evening program of September 2016. I used my GI Bill to cover for school tuition and I had issues regarding payment. I was working full time Active Duty upon completing the program. Virginia requires 500 class room hours to be a licensed massage therapist but, Fuller requires 600 hours to complete the full program. The basic part of the program is not for the feint of heart. A majority of the lectures are similar to how military schools conducts "education" meaning, a total "data dump" (a lot of information in a short amount of time) with weekly test. A lot of my challenges with school was due to inadequete dedication to studying and of course my TBI. I explained to the instructors of my condition and they were able to accommodate me with one-to-one lessons and test retakes. I didn't talk about my condition as much because I didn't want my injury to put a "handicap" in the actual lectures or curriculum. After a year I finished the program and soon began working part-time as a Graduate in the school. I made sure to take my mBLEX shortly after I completed the basic program so that I didn't lose the information. I passed on the first take, and soon became licensed. The program does a great job in transitioning you to be able to work right away for the school and fellow therapist at the school are more than.helpful to assist you in finding work somewhere else. I now have been working full time at Fuller for almost a year now, and during that short year I've had such a rich challenging, experience as a Massage Therapist. Going from Active-Duty military to a subcontractor was amazing because I love how flexible my schedule is. The only thing somewhat negative thing I can express is that the school is totally old fashioned. Everything is recored through paper so there is no computer system to file, schedule appointments or any data tracking, bookkeeping etc. I've grown accustomed to it and I do appreciate the local small business "mom and pop" vibe the owners showcase for the school. This is merely preference though, so if you are a technology dependable person, you are in for a time warp.
