Unbelievable prenatal massage with Jules. It was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. I so appreciated her approach in terms of open communication- I felt comfortable asking for exactly the kind of pressure I wanted, and when I asked her to adjust she was super responsive. Her setup for prenatal patients is very comfy and she does a great job both prepping you for the massage with a through survey, and then debriefing with you afterwards. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

This was hands down the best prenatal massage. There was great communication and a lot of special care around my specific needs during pregnancy. Julia clearly knows what she is doing and applied exactly the right amount of pressure. I would recommend going to Julia to any of my pregnant friends. I would recommend going for a longer session, the 60 mins flew by!

30 weeks pregnant and went in for my first prenatal massage and Julia did not disappoint. I knew I needed one, but had no idea just how badly. Being able to lay safely on my front side for the first time since the first trimester was also happy tears worthy. If you are pre or post natal, book an appointment now. Julia is so kind, educated and a great listener.

Jules performed a thorough health interview with me, which resulted in a session that was tailored to my needs. This is important in general, but especially during pre and post natal times when our bodies are changing and have specific needs. She's easy to talk to, and set the stage so that I didn't feel intimated to ask for things like more/less pressure. I'd recommend her to anyone, and I can't wait to have another session with her!

I went to see Jules with my last pregnancy and she was simply amazing. From taking the time to sit and talk before the massage to find out more information about me and my pregnancy, to the fact that prenatal or not they are the best massages I have ever had, to providing stretches that would help….This is an experience you definitely need! I’m also pretty sure she helped me go into labor when I had a massage on my due date. We’ll never know, but I like to give her some of the credit! I’m pregnant again and anxiously awaiting my first scheduled massage!

I am SO glad I found Jules. Pregnancy is a challenging and uncomfortable journey - to have some relief is priceless. The studio smells so nice, is extremely clean, and has the perfect setup for my round belly. Jules even gave me some stretches to do at home to keep me comfortable in between appointments. Anyways, I highly recommend - and book your appointment now because Jules is very busy (because everyone knows she is the BEST).

I had my first massage with Jules today (second ever) and it was great! She is very professional and her space is clean and super cute! She asked me a lot of questions and really cared about the quality of my experience. She is very knowledgeable, especially about pregnancy, and as I am pregnant, I felt very safe in her hands :). The massage was wonderful and the set up was perfect for my 3rd trimester pregnant belly and I felt very secure comfortable and relaxed.

She focuses on what you want, takes her time working out the areas that need it, and knows the body very well. She’s super friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the pregnant body. Very comfy set up for the big belly, and very considerate of making sure you are comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend her, and can’t wait for my next visit!

She asked questions to understand how I was feeling and got right to work on problem areas. I like more pressure and was so happy that she was able to do so with the pillow arrangement that she has. Where to begin? Jules was absolutely amazing! This was the the first time I had a thorough consultation heading into a massage. I really appreciate that on top of the preliminary questioner online. Us Preggos have a lot going on. You could tell she really cared to listen and address all your needs. It’s so nice when a prenatal massage supply’s the appropriate table/pillows to accommodate our pregnant body’s. It’s a rare occasion we can lay face down. I wish I had this set up at home! At the end of the visit we did a brief recap and she wrote down stretches that could benefit me. She was very knowledgeable when it comes to pregnancy and the body. I’d like to add that I was also late to my appointment unfortunately. Jules still took her time and was very thorough. We had to leave a bit out(which was my bad). Still I enjoyed this massage immensely. Cannot recommend her enough. I Can’t wait for my next massage!

Julia is the best at what she does! My first appt I was around 34ish weeks pregnant and I felt SO incredibly relaxed and serene after the session, I slept for almost 12 hours that night. My next session I was 38 weeks and she made my body aches and pains melt away. She takes time to talk to you before and after and never once made me feel self conscious or uncomfortable. Her communication is great. Can't wait for my next appt!

Portland Prenatal Massage is what got me through my very difficult pregnancy. I suffered from all-day morning sickness the entire pregnancy, plus bouts of migraines and horrible heartburn. After my first massage I felt such a relief. It did not make all my symptoms go away, but just the relief from them was enough to make me want to go back. I started going monthly and towards the end I went every two weeks. I remember on multiple occasions, laying on the table, feeling like I could cry because of how good I felt in that moment, and so thankful for a break from feeling so bad. Jules is amazing. She is so knowledgeable about what a pregnant woman needs and where all the aches and pains are. She checks in on you a day or so after each massage. I recently went back for my first massage post-baby... it was heaven. I will continue to go here for my new-mama self care- and am thankful it’s not just for pre-natal women!

Jules is amazing. She uses pregnancy pillows for prenatal massages to help get relief you can't get anywhere else! She listens to requests, have exactly as much pressure as you want, she pays great attention to detail even down to a lavender scented eye pillow. Finding Jules changed my pregnant life! I was struggling with a terrible muscle spasm (I could barely walk) and so frustrated that all other massage therapists were treating me with kid gloves because I was pregnant. As a nurse-midwife, I know massage therapy can be an excellent drug-free treatment for the intense strains of pregnancy. Jules is trained to understand the ACTUAL limitations in pregnancy and safely helped me recover. Jules started by welcoming me to her sanctuary-like treatment room, taking a thorough history, and walking me through the plan of care. She has an open and calm personality perfect for relaxation. And her special table?! Laying face down after so many months of side-lying was GLORIOUS. Every pregnant mama needs to try her table. Coming from someone who has received massage therapy at least monthly for many years, I assure you she is a very highly qualified therapist. Her passion for helping mamas is an asset to our community. She made a huge difference in my health in just 1 session. I continued to see her weekly the last month of pregnancy. I also saw her for a special session to encourage healthy labor. The best was seeing her a couple days postpartum - something I recommend to every mama! Using her special pillows helped to keep my chest from getting squashed during the massage. Not to mention the wonderful attention to areas affected by the rigors of labor (who knew my calves and feet would carry tension?) So, long story short, she is a miracle-worker for us preggos.

The best place HANDS DOWN !!! she was amazing and so informative, she explained the toll our body takes when pregnant and afterwards and why prenatal care is so beneficial!! I did a 90 minute session and it was heavenly I will be doing this regularly as its helped me amensly with my lower back and my neck and my feet !! I have slept like a baby and before I was having such bad pregency insomnia. 👎 but now I feel like a new person.
