I was originally satisfied with Massage Envy but then they were always booked and I was paying monthly for no massages. I desperately tried finding a new place and the first location that reach back out was BodyWorks and Stefani has excellent customer service, scheduling, and massage skills.

My Physical Therapist referred me to Rob Phipps to continue with my rehab for my frozen shoulder. I enjoy having a good massage and it’s something I have felt for years that I should do on a regular basis, but have not. Once I started with Rob I realized having a massage regularly helps my body greatly. I pulled my lower back out after getting pulled incorrectly while walking my dogs and I could hardly move. I had a appointment with Rob a few days after it happened and asked him to focus on that issue. I felt so much better the next day and I continue to get better. I now call Rob my necessary Doctor. I think massage therapy is very UNDER rated. He’s great and I highly recommend him.

I had a massage with Linda and it was the best massage I've ever had. I've seen quite a few massage therapists and she was literally the best. If you have the opportunity to give Ashiatsu a try, I highly recommend it. If you aren't familiar with this technique, part of the massage is done with her FEET. Yes, I said it... the feet. Don't be grossed out, her feet are clean, but she was able to get to parts of my back in a way that hands can't really get into. Linda is highly talented in what she does, I walked away so impressed!

I was trying to find a good massage in Portland. I decided to try Maine Bodyworks. I flew in from LA, my train from Boston was late and my therapist was kindly forgiving when I arrived late to my appointment. The massage was marvelous. Thorough, comforting, therapeutic and professional, I felt pain-free, lighter, and more optimistic than I had in a ages, when I left. The environment is calming, the cotton blankets and organic lavender aromatherapy made me feel like I was transported to an enveloping and caring place. I highly recommend the work there. Leah was my therapist on a quiet Sunday, but she assured me everyone there was highly trained, so I feel if she is not available next time, and I will gladly try another massage therapist as the environment inspires confidence.

Guy and Tatiana are both incredibly talented massage therapists, and have helped me immensely to treat my frozen shoulder. I have also seen Rob and Linda, and highly recommend them as well. If you need deep tissue work, or just a relaxing massage, Maine Bodyworks is where to go!

I have nothing buy positive things to say about Maine Bodyworks. They were very accommodating to my wife and I when we requested and earlier than normal massage before work on Valentine's Day. As a business they seem to have everything aligned and operating smoothly. As people, they are exceptional. I received a massage from Jason who was peaceful, pleasant, aware, and emulated my consciousness. I've had other massages where the masseuse spoke too much and it's slightly annoying. I would recommend Jason to anyone looking for an exceptional massage from a great person. I will be back!

Had some bad back and leg pain, and was limping around Portland. Went in for an emergency massage and was able to see Heather on short notice. She was very professional, focused on all the right areas and I left feeling great. Next time I'm back in town I will definitely stop in again!

I've been a huge fan of Maine Bodyworks for several years- love the ashiatsu - as someone who has trouble relaxing, it is the perfect massage. 90 minutes of massage and I am in a much better place. Tatiana is very intuitive and a highly skilled masseuse.... and their space is absolutely perfect! They're also lovely people...always a plus!
