My first time getting a massage was here at Hand & Stone and, I must say, it was an amazing first-time experience!! After that, I walked right out to the lobby and signed myself up for the membership! The staff is always friendly and attentive, It’s good energy from the minute you step into the spa. I moved from the west coast about 15 months ago and was happy to see that there was a Hand and Stone location in Grand Rapids. I’ve been a member for a few years now and have had nothing but good experiences at the GR location. Ally has become my go to aesthetician. I see her for a facial every few weeks and always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and with a glowing complexion. I’ve had massages from 3 or 4 different therapists and they’ve all been great experiences. Thank you Ally and everyone at Hand and Stone!

A few days post massage and still feeling amazing! Not to mention, their facials are top notch. All products used are medical grade and top of the line - which is always appreciated. After signing up for the membership I have been in at least once a month and have zero regrets. The ladies up front are very helpful and kind, and each provider I’ve seen has been knowledgeable and considerate to answer all my questions. Thank you!!!

Great pressure, knowledgeable, cognizant of my areas to focus, understanding of my needs and goals for the session. Very personable and also allows for a peaceful relaxing experience. UPDATE: I continue to receive the best service from Hand & Stone in Grand Rapids. I have now gone for several massages and facials and have had nothing but wonderful, relaxing experiences. My first facial at Hand and Stone was amazing! I had never had a facial before. The esthetician and staff helped me know what to expect which made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They are true professionals who offered top notch service. Plus the building is so beautiful! Highly recommend. Going back soon for another facial and a massage!

I just had a wonderful massage by Susan on Thursday. She used CBD oil which really made my muscles relax. I had some issues with my shoulder and lower back because of tennis. I found Susan is educated in medical massage and she was able to help those issues and reduce the pain especially in my shoulder. The table was heated and very comfortable and the staff all around was great. You have to try their coconut water as well ... so yummy! Looking forward to going back!

The perfect spa experience! From the front desk spa associates’ greeting, the zen lobby, to the watermelon water my experience could not have been better. The spa was beautiful, sparkling clean and so welcoming. My facial treatment was relaxing, invigorating and just right. I can’t wait to come back to this wonderful spa!

Everyone there is so lovely and they make sure to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Definitely the best and affordable spa around. I am new to the spa world and tentatively scheduled a facial with Mya to start. I asked her to tell me what she was doing and why. She graciously accommodated me all the while working her magic on my face, neck and shoulders. After a few minutes, I was so relaxed, I completely forgot about my initial reservations and thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Mya gave me some recommendations on how to improve my problem areas which I appreciated her expertise. I was so impressed with everything from the front desk employees to the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, I will definitely be back to try some other services. Thank you Hand and Stone and Mya for making me feel so comfortable and looking forward to coming back!

I have been a member of Hand and Stone for over a year now and absolutely love it. They do so many great things for their members and their staff is always phenomenal to work with. Though all of the massage therapists I've seen have been wonderful, Aaron is my personal favorite and the one I always try to book with. I have a back injury with a lot of muscle and nerve damage and I love that Aaron is always considerate and in tune to what my body needs and how I'm feeling throughout the entire massage. He knows exactly where my pain points are without me needing to tell him. I recommend Hand and Stone to anyone looking for a great massage or to treat themselves with some much needed self care.

Awesome experience! Best massage I’ve ever had. I had Janelle as my massage therapist and she was fantastic. Also, I would definitely listen to their membership pitch. I usually think these are a rip off but theirs is actually super affordable and you definitely get your money’s worth. They also have a ton of add ons you can get with your massage. I have issues with lower back pain so I got the CBD add on and it helped lower my pain levels a lot more than I expected. If you are looking for something to add to your self-care or overall wellness routine, this is a must!

I was lucky enough to be a part of the soft opening for this new Grand Rapids location. Things ran so smoothly you'd think the staff had been doing it for years. Everyone was professional and courteous. The spa itself was beautiful. Everything was clean and organized with a relaxing aesthetic. You won't find better prices for the high quality services proved. I would recommend this spa to anyone looking for a quality, affordable massage or facial.

Had a pre paid massage left, I had an apt that I had to cancel then I rescheduled it for a week later. Then a couple days before my apt they e-mail me and they said it was past the 25th so I lost my pre paid massage. The person I had talked to never said well if you move your apt you will lose your pre paid massage. Never mentioned it. The owner did call me and said he would allow me to use my prepaid massage.

Went for a one hour facial. It was really great. Private rooms for services, very comfortable beds, great experience. Prices are reasonable and service was great. Staff were very friendly and did a great job. I will definitely go back.

Walked in and wasn’t able to get a full massage right away. However the knowledgeable staff asked if I would be open to a facial and or foot treatment. The face cleanse does include shoulder massage. So after the visit and accepting I am amazed and grateful. The services were very relaxing and I feel great. Honestly I would recommend this to anyone!
