This spa is the best. Super solid massages. My job is pretty physical so I need to treat my body well and this is one of my favorite spots. Easy to walk in or make appointments. Bring cash!

It was a bit nosy but all in all the massage was great. I wish they would have let me know I would be in such pain for 2 days and to drink water. I found out online. But the place was clean, staff were friendly, and I was seen quickly even though I was a walk in on a Saturday.

Best massage I’ve ever had he really got the deep tissue massage going and helped with a wrist that was hurting and got a lot of knots and tension out. I just went for a 90m massage and they cost $90 plus $20 tip if paying cash (tax if paying with credit).

One of the best massages I get around the city. No appointment needed but if you do want it for a certain time - just call to make appointment! It is very neat and they pride in their massages. They know your pressure points and if tour body is tight or not. If you want someone with more strength the men can you give you that. My back feels sore from getting a massage from him. If you want lighter hands let them know. They accept cash and card.

Great talented Chinese and other Asian massage therapists. The method is definitely Chinese accu pressure type across large parts of the body. They work hard and expect a tip but aren't verbally insistent. I read reviews of a CC fee so I purposely bring cash. The women are little so if you are a big guy you may want to call ahead and book a guy. Sometimes the women there struggle to work on me. I almost feel bad. They just aren't heavy enough to shift weight alone and end up ready to drop after they are done with me. Price is $1 per minute. I've overheard people haggling and that's not for me but I did hear a woman broker a deal of $50 for an hour. I'm not interested in short changing these people. The place is semi private with sheet partitions which does not bother me. They are clean and generally very sweet.

Hands down the best deep tissue massage I have ever gotten I got the 30 min and extended it to 90min MARY and the entire staff know what they are doing and it extremely clean. I been to topper Rizzieri‘s and this is therapy and way better never again am I spending $180 on massage in Rittenhouse ask for Mary without other massages and everyone there is great- ALSO I SAW THIS OTHER REVIEW I WAS THERE A WEEK AGO AND SERVICE WAS Better than expected and I cancel the meeting at work to extend massage.

Loved this place! We got a couples massage. We were a walk-in, but they took us in right away. It’s not the most glamorous of places, but the massage therapists were excellent. It was my girlfriend’s first massage. She was a little nervous before hand, but ended up loving it.

This is my go-to affordable massage option in Philly for a reason. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they move customers in and out with incredible efficiency, and the massages themselves are TOP tier, as $1 a minute services go. I've been to several of the others in Chinatown, Fishtown area, South and West Philly, but the convenience and consistency of good quality here keeps me coming back. Whether you're looking for a light Swedish to get some general relaxation in, or opting for a good, long deep tissue treatment, they won't disappoint. Tips: Wear underpants - they ask that you keep these on - it's for the best . Also wear something easy to put on and take off if possible. The owner gives me a massage that was relaxing and took away the knots in my back and neck. He was very thorough and clearly knew how to relieve tension from my neck and legs. The massage rooms are sparse and only a curtain separates the tables. I got my massage 2 days ago and I can't believe what a difference it made for my stiff neck. This is not a "bad" massage place. It is the real deal and it is affordable and unbelievable. I'll definitely go back again.

I went in for a prenatal massage and he hit every single spot I needed him to with the right amount of pressure. I felt so good after leaving, it’s exactly what I needed. He kept asking if everything was ok with the pressure which was nice. Massage first was with towel over my body, then oil and hot stone. It’s not a snazzy spot where you have your own private room, but it definitely serves its purpose and get the job done well. Don’t be discouraged if they don’t want beer stand you over the phone. They know what they are doing. I’ll be going back for sure.

I knew going into my 60-min massage the place would likely give a good massage but not much else. Indeed, I was led quickly to a "room" in the back, which was only divided by a screen and flimsy semi-sheer curtain. The screen had gaps between the panels and the curtain had gaps opening to the hallway and flew up when people walked past. As a woman who had to fully undress, this made me pretty uncomfortable. You do hear people walking past and I heard the table next to me squeak several times. They lay down a paper towel for your head and cover you with a beach towel, then massage you mostly over the towel. Pros: My experience with Asian massages is that they go harder and work places other masseuse/masseurs typically don't, and that was true here. The massage was good and ended with the use of massage oil and hot stones. I also appreciate the timers because it makes the amount of time transparent. Overall: I went into the experience expecting exactly what I received. The massage was good, but the lack of privacy (just thicker curtains and full dividers would do the trick) will stop me from going back.

I've always gotten good, moderately priced acupressure massage here. It's sometimes a little chaotic getting set up, and don't expect the bells and whistles of a full "spa experience", but all the practitioners that I've had were competent and professional.

Best massage I've EVER had. I've had many in my life (in Paris, London, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and more) but I've never had a masseuse who was so focused and able to identify EXACTLY where my pain was coming from. I walked in with my shoulders curled due to acute neck pain, and left feeling like a new man. Don't expect a luxury setting, but the place is clean and the tables are comfortable -- that's all that matters, when the service is so great. The fact that this place is below average price-wise relative to other parlours in Philly is just a bonus, as they are certainly above average in quality. I will definitely be returning.A big thanks again to the staff at Tibet Healing Spa!

Very good DEEP TISSUE massage. I went in because I haven’t gotten a massage in awhile and I’ve been working 12+ hour days for the last 3 months so my muscles were sore. The woman gave me a very strong massage that worked out each muscle very well, from my neck, shoulders, lower back, legs, and feet. For some, I imagine you can get a Swedish massage or ask for a medium or light massage but this was indeed a deep tissue. She also seemed very aware or areas that were a problem for me, she seemed to realize right before I said something and she would adjust her technique or use less pressure. Overall, it was exactly what i needed, I’ll be sure to drink a lot of water and take some Advil when I get home because I’ll be sore tomorrow I’m sure.

Fantastic deep tissue massage. I had the one lady and she worked all the body muscles and massages my head as well. This isn’t the Ritz but I could have cared less because the massage was that good. It was actually a couples massage and my wife enjoyed it as well. They used hot stones at the end and I really have nothing bad to say. Hour felt like two hours.

Very good deep tissue massage. Wish I had more time! I had to quickly run to the bus terminal so only had 30min and it was already a very deep and thorough massage. Very traditional techniques and relief a lot of the tension/pain I had in my neck shoulder area. Thank you!

The workers are very knowledgeable about massage and Chinese medicine. I explained to them my lower back pain and neck pain and after a 90 min session, the next week I felt like my body circulates blood a lot more efficiently and overall feel more energetic. Normally I have morning headaches probably due to bad blood flow but after getting a pretty intense massage, I felt a lot better.

I am a massage junkie and this was hands down the best back and shoulder massage. Ask for Jack. He really worked the crevices of my knots and applied different techniques to get the knots out. He instantly knew what areas needed more work without being told.

This is the perfect place for an affordable massage. The staff are nice and efficient, the atmosphere is relaxing and clean. They even dealt with me laughing during my foot massage because I am ticklish lol.I would definitely recommend this place!

Every time I travel to Philly I go here as the folks here provide super thorough and strong swedish massages. They'll check on you to make sure it's not too rough but they can and will get to the deep knots.

Having chronic pain, sometimes I want to beat the pain into submission. No fru fru. She got into the areas that only I know and worked them until they gave up. And I didn't have to say a word. I cannot recommend this place enough. Easy to find, clean, friendly, and great.

I took my husband here as a last minute surprise on a Friday night after he shared he had a grueling day at work. We got a 60 minute couple's massage which was amazing. There was a bit of a language barrier but they understood key words to get the pressure right. The establishment was not fancy but it was very clean and the employees were very kind. There is an extra charge if you want to pay with a card. One of the staff took me to an ATM machine to avoid paying the fee for using a card. Great location as you can get something to eat in Chinatown before or after and only park your car once. We didn't have an appointment and they were very accommodating. We will be returning!
