I had a 90 minute prenatal massage with Ciara, and it was by far one of the best I’ve had. I’ve been getting massages regularly for years now, and I was really impressed with her. She made me feel really comfortable right off the get-go. She seemed like she really cared about helping me feel better with my pregnancy aches and pains. She was easy to talk to and I never felt uncomfortable. Moving around on a table at 38.5 weeks pregnant is not easy but she was patient and kind. She communicated about the levels of pressure so I was always comfortable. If I could, I’d come back every week! Thank you for such a great experience!

This is exactly what I had been looking for! I've had trouble finding a massage therapist that didn't just do relaxing/stress relieving massages. I found one here that helped me work on my muscle imbalances and he took his time on going through certain muscles to fully let them release their tension that gets built up too much over time every now and then where working on them myself by stretching, using hot packs, foam rolling, etc. isn't enough. Will stick with this place every time I need one!

Hybrid Health has completely changed the way I view massage therapy. Specifically, their massage therapist Michaela. I used to think that massages were simply a nice, relaxing way to ease muscle tension. Now they are an essential part of my personal health routine. With Michaela, every session is different but builds upon prior sessions and your specific needs. I exercise regularly and participate in the great outdoor recreation that this area has to offer but I'm terrible about stretching and spend my working hours either hunched over a laptop or traveling long hours in a car or plane. Michaela helps keep me at peak performance for both my hobbies and my job but also helps me to simply feel better more consistently. She is passionate about taking care of people and about how the body works and she is always open to sharing her knowledge as well as tips for things you can do at home to help whatever specific ailments you have or to help make future sessions even more effective. I care more about taking care of my body thanks to Hybrid Health and I feel like I've got a partner that guides me down the path to do so. If that's not a great investment of your time & money, then I'm not sure what is.

10 days before I was to leave for a trip running/hiking 80+ miles in the wilderness I was suddenly unable to lift my right leg. Hybrid Health was my first call. I’ve been in before for previous running related pains. Justin gave me the assessment of the situation that I needed. After my appointment I was feeling mentally better, experienced physical improvements and had a clear plan. Elsewhere I had some acupuncture with fascial manipulation and came in for a second visit with Justin before I left; I made my trip. My body performed and felt better on my trip than I could have even imagined. I am reminded of the importance of coming in for prevention versus only dealing with problems as they arise. I’ve been back as I want to keep feeling this good and plan to make Hybrid Health a regular appointment.

Rather than just treating my symptoms (pain in my lower back), Justin talked to me and asked me a number of questions about what I'm doing, things that have changed in my life, and how I'm using my body differently now that may have led to my back problems. After the discussion, he helped relieve much of my pain via deep tissue massage, and he showed me several exercises, stretches, and other at-home treatments to use...along with advice about adding more lateral and dynamic movement to my daily routine. My back felt much better after seeing Justin, but the best part is that it continued to feel better every day and week and month afterward thanks to the holistic approach Justin gave me to treat the underlying problem rather than just addressing the symptom. After getting back into running this fall and training for an ultra race I developed a chronic pain issue in my lower back. Justin was able to pinpoint the problem area from the start and after a few sessions I was pain free in my lower back by race day. Justin does a great job at pinpointing your issue and targeting the connected area's that effect the problem. He also gave me great at home maintenance and stretching tips to do during the week. I came to see Justin after passing by his office and seeing the sign mentioning corrective exercise. I had been having lower back pain for at least 6 months with no obvious trigger or injury. Naturally, primary care and a specialty spine clinic found nothing structurally wrong, but they also couldn't recommend anything other than ibuprofen and muscle relaxers. Given Justin's unique background in kinesiology and the specialized services offered, I decided to give his approach a shot. I have had several orthopedic surgeries (not back related) and have had mixed success with physical therapy approaches. Justin very quickly knew what the problem was and said that I'd likely be much better with a tailored stretching and exercise program and a few targeted massage treatments. Only a month later and I'm basically fixed! I can't recommend him enough! He takes a holistic approach to your presenting problems, knows the science behind what he recommends and advises against, and is highly approachable. He is very responsive to his patients' unique needs and only recommends realistic treatments/approaches for each person. In short, believe the hype of the other reviews. If you have similar physical issues, look nowhere else! This is the place!

For the past 4 years, when I run, I experience lateral knee pain. I have seen multiple Physical Therapists, running coaches, chiropractors, and doctors. I have spent a ton of money on shoes, insoles, orthotics, pain killers, etc. The only relief I was able to find before meeting Justin were cortisone injections and those only got me through roughly a month. I was at the end of my rope and surgery was knocking on the door. I came to see Justin and after 2 visits I was able to run pain free. I saw him for a 3rd time and have been able to keep up a routine that works for me at home. I am now running again everyday, which is something I would never have been able to do, all without the awful pain that was sidelining me. I can’t thank you enough Justin, wish I woulda found you 4 years ago when this mess first started.

I went to see Justin due to some foot pain that was occuring during exercise. He helped me understand that the foot pain was actually related to tight muscles further up the leg. He then helped me learn how to properly stretch. The massage therapy was excellent and proved to address the issue immediately. However, the bigger benefit IMHO, was the long term behavior changing push he gave me, with the tools to do it. Stretch, early and often, and have a super-knowledgeable-professional teach you how! Justin was great. After seeing several physical therapists, a few chiropractors, acupuncturists, x-rays, MRI, Justin helped me figure out a regime to see real improvements. Every single person I saw gave me the EXACT same exercises and stretches that didn't work. The last chiropractor I saw suggested I see a surgeon about spinal surgery to alleviate his best guess at the problem. Justin gave me 3 times the number of exercises and stretches all new. Each time I came back, he would review the work I had done, and give me new exercises and stretches to target my problem and alleviate the stress. I'm still not a 100%, but on the road. I have had constant ache in my shoulder for over 5 years now from various sports activities such as running, rock climbing, volleyball etc. In that time I visited a chiropractor once weekly for almost a year, gone to a PT for 12 week session and then again down the line for a 4 week session. I have seen 3 doctors, 2 specialists, received 2 cortisone injections all with little to no improvement. My doctors blase attitude seemed like they'd seen many shoulder injuries, yet didn't know how to approach mine. One doctor recommended I take ibuprofen to ease pain, permanently! Another recommended I become a librarian. After just ONE session with Justin I felt relief I hadn't experienced in years. Prior to my session, we sat down and he asked me questions about my pain and was very attentive and responsive. Post questionnaire Justin took the time to show me various diagrams about the anatomy and muscle structure of my shoulder, everything was coming into view. My doctors showed me nothing of the sort. I had no idea how interconnected these things are. Once we got down to brass tacks Justin's massage was thorough and informative as he talked me through everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Additionally, I appreciated his strength, My PT's just simply did not posses the hand/finger strength to really activate the muscles under my shoulder blade. After all was said and done Justin walked me through several stretches for my neck/shoulder area. So to wrap it up, ONE visit with Justin did more good and provided more relief than anything I have ever done before (Chiro/PT/Specialist). This guy is a game-changer!

I am a very active person who loves any activities that take me outdoors. One day after mountain biking, I was in a car accident that left me with debilitating neck pain. I was devastated by the thought of my active days behind me. I began seeing a physical therapist, who came very highly recommended, once a week.
