My husband and I took a couples massage class to kick off our wedding anniversary celebration and it was a delight! The environment was so calming. Janine was personable and explained all of the instructions so my husband and I could practice on each other. We even left with a handout so we can continue practicing what we learned. Thank you for making our day so special!

I graduated from HMTI in May 2022. My experience here was a little shaky. I had a major issue with one of the staff members who was extremely rude and disrespectful. Although this place can be a bit chaotic and a little unorganized, I learned to be okay with it. This institution is far from perfect, but I do believe that the owner Janine, means well and the staff can be supportive. There are some really great instructors at HMTI with different specialties and perspectives. And the friendships created made my experience worthwhile. If you're someone who needs a lot of organization, this may not be the place for you. But if you're okay with rolling with the punches and accepting that organizations aren't always perfect like we often expect businesses to be, you may find this to be the right school for you. After reflecting on my experience at HMTI, I'm glad I made the choice to attend this school.

Truly amazing -- I booked my appointment day of because I had a progressive tension headache, which was a bit short notice. The staff worked hard to make sure I could be seen that day and the receptionists were so kind. The therapist (Damany) was amazing and helped put me at ease. Just truly a lovely -- and much needed -- experience.

I had a great massage by a student. She was clearly still learning but the instructor intervention was effortless, well practiced and did not "break" up the session. The inside is clean and spacious. Definitely glad I didn't go with my first impression of the warehouse look from the outside.

This was my first time here, after searching for reasonably priced massages in the Baltimore area. Kahla was so professional! She made me feel comfortable and safe during the entire session. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great massage to go to this place. The only downside is the limited parking.

The students tend to be quite good, massages are very well priced for a long session, the new facility offers very private rooms, and the online booking system makes it easy to make an appointment.
