I have nothing but great things to say about Northern Lights Massage Center/Excellence in Health and Heather Arkell. I’ve seen Heather for weekly massages for about a month now post car accident. I had seen other massage therapists around town and wasn’t getting any relief in my aches and pains and decided to try Heather and I am so grateful I did. It was easy to get in as a new patient and I’ve been able to get on Heather’s schedule regularly. She is very skilled and clearly knows anatomy, she can easily pin point my knots and knows where the problem areas are before I even have to say anything. The deep pressure is something I had been looking for and missing with other massage therapists. She knows how to do it and does it right! I would definitely recommend Heather and Excellence in Health. It should also be mentioned that the front desk staff are always so pleasant, helpful, attentive and kind. Thank you!

Prior to February 2022, I had never been to a massage therapist, so I had no idea what to expect. Heather A., has been excellent in focusing on specific trigger spots and stress points in my back and neck. I highly recommend her services.

This was one of the greatest massage experiences I have ever had. Heather did a deep tissue massage on me and I left feeling so loose and amazing. My neck hasn’t been able to turn properly to the right for months, and whatever she did gave me full mobility back in my neck. She was also extremely personable, and she even sang beautifully while she was massaging! I am beyond thrilled with my experience with her, and would definitely recommend a massage to anyone I know. I’ve been seeing Heather Arkell for quite some time now and has been my go to gal if I want a real deep tissue massage. She will get down to the nitty gritty of your aches and releases tension in your body you didn’t know you have. Her deep massages feels powerful but gentle. She really is a skilled massage therapist and wants to help you feel better when you leave. The everyone in the office is professional, courteous, and friendly. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed after every visit. 10 out of 10 would always recommend!

Had an appointment scheduled for my wife and I. I was looking forward to it all week because of a strained muscle in my lower back and causing different muscles in my back to become overworked, but of course, the person I had talked to originally to book this had never actually booked my wife's or my appointment in their schedule. I was very mad about that. However, the lady who was working the front desk was very nice and apologetic about the situation. Very professional and rescheduled my appointment and my wife's appointment for the following week. My first time being there, everything looks very nice and clean, and the staff looked very friendly. I got a couple of $25 gift cards to use next time which was nice I guess.

Heather Arkell is a master at massage thearpy! She knows her craft well and I love her therapeutic massages. She can do any type of massage I have asked for and they have all been exceptional. My favorite is deep tissue. I moved out of Alaska for a few years but am SO glad to be back as no one has been as good as Heather A. There are 2 Heather's here - so ask for Heather A. I have not seen the other Heather but I beth she is good too. ♥️ Love the vibe here.

So, I call this place the "Auto Shop." I often visit Excellence Health through out the week depending on my pain. The doctors are excellent and my therapist is super awesome 🙂 Most places workers looks so serious, but excellence health is colorful! I meant by, every time Im at the clinic is a place to laugh, joke and relieved stress. I have referred some of my friends and coworkers there and they loved it there too. I loved the work of my knowledgeable male therapist (deep tissue) for several months I was working with him. My schedule changed because of covid. I ended up with a new therapist. I admire the hands, techniques and the excellence work of my lovely therapist - Chanel Ching(deep tissue), always great to laugh and enjoy ea others company while getting my vein, nerves and my muscles tune-up! It does the same job to my body like an auto-shop to a vehicle. So, when you feel like you're, *messed up!* Take it to my Body Shop - Excellence Heath Chiropractor Clinic on Northern Light is where you want to go. I love everybody there. Faafetai tele lava! I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and for years my neck and back muscles have been pulling against the bone fusion that AS causes. My muscles were hard, sore and cramping. Muscle relaxers, physical therapy, back braces...nothing worked. I have been to 3 sessions with Heather Arkell and I am astounded at the increased movement, decreased pain, no more cramping and allowing me to do day to day chores virtually pain free. I strongly recommend Heather Arkell to anyone seeking relief from hard, cramping muscles. Overall I could not be more pleased with such a huge reduction in pain and increased movement. Thanks Heather!!

This place has the greatest staff of massage therapists. After shopping for years, I feel like I have finally found the place that takes care of my aches and pains the way they need to be! They have therapists that span the gamete from male to female, deep pressure to light pressure, acupuncture, chiro and other services. I know many people who have been nothing but pleased with the therapeutic services offered here and I would recommend it to any and everyone! Stop searching for massage and go here!!
