The color of locks supplied didn't match. Very disappointed in the price from the quote and qualify of what I received did not meet what I paid to have the job done. My front door handle was replaced and the new door handle that did not match, thus leaving my front door damaged.

Went very well. My house presented a bit of a challenge, as no two locks on it were the same. So the locksmith had to find solutions beyond simply replacing all the lock cylinders. And he found a way to rekey the front door, which had a really ancient lock I wanted to keep. I was very satisfied.

I am very pleased with Budget Locksmith of Virginia Beach LLC. I originally took my vehicle to the manufacturer do have them fix a broken lock on the drivers side door. The Dealer informed me that they would have to re-core the lock and then also bring in a locksmith if I wanted the key to work in all locks. Dealers cost was approximately $450 to do this. Instead I called Budget Locksmith of Virginia Beach LLC and within about ten minutes after arriving at their shop they had my drivers side door lock working again. They saved me over $400. Alex arrived promptly. He listened carefully to what I wanted done and how I wanted all locks to be on the same key. He said that since I had already paid for 2 re-keys (it was a long time ago, but he still accepted it), he would only charge for 3 re-keys. He also changed a dead bolt lock (I couldn't get the old one off) He then went to work. He was very friendly and professional. I noticed that he even re-did one door lock that I had put in crooked! He explained that the outside door could not close all the way, because of missing weatherstripping, not because of anything he did. Overall, it was a great experience. I would not hesitate to use him again!

We bought Sean's rekey two lock special. We had two glass doors replaced a couple of years ago, but we needed to have them rekeyed to match all our other locks. It was easy to schedule an appointment that worked for us within a couple of days of our purchase. Sean was on time, removed the locks, and rekeyed them in his van. But Sean is very exacting in his work. I saw that he removed one of the locks for the second time, so I walked over. He said that the key could not be removed in the resting position, and had to be turned a bit more, because the door manufacturer had installed the incorrect tail piece. He took the lock to his van and installed the correct one at no extra charge. What more could one want? Easy to schedule. Sean was on time, worked fast, and spent a little extra time to make sure the locks worked perfectly.

I needed a few extra keys, and he was able to make those on site. He also repaired a lock on the sliding glass door that leads out to my deck; I say repaired because the door is old and there was no way he’d be able to find parts, so thank goodness he is so proficient that he was able to make repairs. The cost for these excellent services was very modest, far better than probably just about any other locksmith out there.

These guys were very responsive, and I ended up getting 2 service techs to come to my house and change my locks that same day. Leading up to the service call we each had some questions for each other, and they were easy to get a hold of (text or call) and once they showed up, they were polite and diligent. This is one of the most reliable and professional locksmith services in the area. I locked myself out after 1am on a holiday weekend and not only were they the only place open, they were on site within 20 minutes. The second time I used them for a lockout they were available again within 20 minutes which is way better then the average "60-90 minute" estimate most lock smith dispatches give you. Above all is the customer service. You don't speak with a clueless dispatcher reading a script; you speak directly to the locksmith. Also, they take great care in using the least intrusive entry techniques to preserve your door and frame, which is much appreciated. I dealt with Ben both times and he was just phenomenal. I locked myself out and had to walk to a 7 eleven to call. He picked me up at the gas station and gave me a ride back. He also is very patient, polite, and offered to give me advice on installing a new lock for free. They are reasonably priced and I wouldn't use anyone else.

These guys are great. I lost a key-chain that had the keys to a couple of file cabinets in our house. A lot of the big-name places wanted to charge $90 just to drive out to my house and that was for an appointment that was 2 days later, for same-day service I think there was an additional premium. In addition to the fee just to drive out, most other places wanted an additional $80-$90 for what surely would have been 3 mins of work to pick the locks to the file cabinets. These Budget Locksmith of Virginia Beach LLC guys were available within a couple of hours and charged half as much in total. I highly recommend them.

Very, quick and simple process. The entire process from the call to finishing the payment had to have been 15-20 minutes. They got there quick. I was given an honest quote at the beginning (to get my keys out of my locked car) which was actually better than some of the places I had called when looking around. However, they do charge a $5 processing fee to pay with a card so if you can, use cash!

This business has such high ratings for a reason. Consistent with other reviews, they showed up in about 40 minutes on a holiday weekend to help me with my 20+ year old truck. The key/ignition would no longer release the steering column, so I was stuck in a parking lot. It turned out to be a broken pin for the key to turn the ignition. He showed me what he was doing along the process and in less than an hour I was back to driving. The yale one he managed to open without damaging it, but the only way through the mortise one was to drill it out. He did that, got the door open and then fitted a new one.
