They quickly rebuilt my Honda car lock and did a great job. Very fast service too, barely had time to drive to the bank and back. The only reason it is a 4 star is because the pricing seemed a little sketchy. The guy just said a price and charged me that much. So there was no way for me to know if that was how much it should have been or if he just overcharged me or something.

Was scammed by someone posing as Orem Locksmith. Leaving a good review for Orem locksmith, but keeping this as a warning to others! Got a bid for locking myself out, and when the technician arrived, I was told it would cost 80.00 + 20 service fee. Technician came and said there was a misunderstanding, and that it would cost $185.00 to unlock my Subaru. I called another locksmith and they told me they could do it for $65.00. (without telling him the situation.) Orem Locksmith stepped aside and "called his boss" and said he would do it for 65.00 afterall. I agreed. He got unlocked my car in 5 minutes, and then tried to charge me 85.00 when he ran the card! I reminded him we agreed to 65.00, ran the card, and left. Talk about taking advantage of someone when they are in a bind. RED FLAGS!

I was very impressed with the promptness and excellent customer service of Anthony and Zach. I didn't know that older models of cars had a valet key, which was keeping me out of my trunk, but as soon as I came in, that was identified and two keys were made for me. It was quick, cheap, and a friendly experience. THANK YOU!

These guys were awesome. I brought in a high-end car to have a new key fob programmed after contacting 7 or 8 other places. Their prices were 1/3rd that of virtually all the others I contacted. Their "waiting room" wasn't impressive ... just a few chairs on the inside of their small building, but their local feel, personalized service, budget-friendly pricing provided me with what I was looking and hoping for. I will definitely continue sending business their way!

This is a good one: my car is a discontinued model with the inside car trunk button broken, I’ve used the trunk key slot maybe five times, and I effectively locked my keys in the trunk. The lock pick set is very rare, so Tom begins attempting to pick into the mostly unused, very rigid, trunk key slot with a lock pick that’s not an exact match. After a long while and many attempts he moves to the driver door; same results here. He then used an airbag to open a gap between the front passenger’s door and the car, which allowed him to use an automotive hanger to unlock the door. We are in! Although, we still have to figure out how to get into the trunk. We start at the back seats because I know they fold down…somehow. After several minutes feeling, pushing, pulling, poking, and prodding, I begin searching on my phone to learn how the seats fold down, and Tom is endeavoring to retrieve the trunk button from the inside of the driver door. He’s finally able to pull out the trunk button connection port. The trunk button itself is still missing but the electrical prongs are exposed, so he takes a piece of metal, places it on both electrical prongs to complete the circuit, and boom goes the dynamite! Well, in this case, my trunk opened. Absolute genius. Where there is a Tom, there is a way!

Tom was wonderful, we had two lock smith companies come out both of whom failed to fix our lock. Tom came out was quick, wonderfully priced, extremely informative, and 100% transparent. He was called at 3 pm and before 4 pm that same day our locks were fixed! I would recommend using him every time.

Dave came within 15 mins and had the best price compared to the 4 other locksmiths I called to unlock my car. The other places gathered bunch of data from me before they could give me a simple quote. The other companies kept calling me and texting me so I can go with them. Dave was more down to earth and got the car unlocked quickly. I noticed he was very careful not to potentially damage things or paint despite me having an older car. I'd recommend these guys.

I'm a realtor that had a client who bought a house that was accidentally locked up when the sellers left. We didn't have time to coordinate with the sellers and get it unlocked, so we called them that morning and within the hour we were in the house for only $65! Super fast, great service, and even though I technically called them an hour before they actually opened - they didn't charge me obscenely. I would absolutely recommend them.

He's helped me start my motorcycle before, helped get me a new key for my motorcycle, helped me fix my keyless entry fob, and was willing to just take time to help me out and be very kind about it. So I took my dog with me to get gas, left the keys in the ignition to pump the gas, and of course my dog pushed the lock down on the door and locked me out of my car! I called Orem Locksmith and got Randy. It was after hours so I figured the price would be outrageous, but I had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost was! And to top it off Randy was there within 15 min! He had the door open so fast I couldn't believe it. What great customer service! Randy was fast, efficient, professional, and very knowledgeable. My 7 year old decided to try unlocking our car with a stick, and the stick broke off and was wedged inside the lock. We tried for an hour with every tool we could think of to get the stick out with no luck. Before taking it to the dealership where they said they would take the door apart to get it out, I stopped here to see if they could help me, and they were so nice about it and got the stick out in under 3 minutes! I then ordered a replacement key fob for way less than the dealership charged us for our last broken key fob. This place is the best and I will definitely come here again for any key/locksmith needs!

They were fantastic. I called them over the phone to get a quote on copying a key to my Civic, and they ended up being about half the cost of the Honda dealership. The two gentlemen in the office were so nice, professional, and knowledgeable about what they were doing. The whole process to maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. They are the locksmith to go to!

I locked my keys in my trunk and called Orem Locksmith Service right away because of their awesome reviews (I am not from the Orem area so I wasn't exactly sure I called the right people). They gave me a flat rate over the phone when I asked for a quote and that's exactly what I paid for when they finished they job (no addition charges, hidden fees, etc.) Randy was able to unlock my car in less than two minutes and clearly knew what he was doing. I failed to inform him that my keys were locked in the trunk but he was still able to get them even though my alarm was going off, the trunk couldn't open (because of the alarm), and you could only fold my back seats from inside the trunk. He was quick, efficient and professional. I'm so happy I called them. Their prices and quick service are unbeatable! These guys are seriously life savers.

I went in looking for old locks and doorknobs to donate to a charitable cause that helps victims of domestic abuse. They didn't have any they could spare, but they (Anthony) offered to re-key any locks I found for free (which saved me over $100). I bought them at the ReStore in Orem and he keyed them all for me, and even replaced two that couldn't be re-keyed with locks he had on hand. Excellent and considerate service for a good cause! Will always go back to these guys when I need locksmith service!

We needed help when my son got his keys locked in the trunk. His car model is very tricky and has several anti-theft blockers that made it impossible for our roadside assistance to open it. But Orem Locksmith was able to help us get the trunk open and get the keys. They responded very quickly and were professional and very courteous. Will definitely use them again...although I hope we don't need to! :)

We came to their store at closing time, but they were still very helpful. Our car hadn't been starting very well; I've gotten stuck many times during this summer because of our key or ignition not working, I wasn't sure which. Rather than copying our bad keys, Orem Locksmith created a pair of new keys. I can already see the difference in our car. It starts up right away. It was a fair payment as well. Update: The ignition had to be replaced on our car. But they were very helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Jay was absolutely amazing. He really went the extra mile to help me with my Hyundai Sonata. My ignition was locked and I couldn't turn the key to get the car started. He met me at my car... which was in a theater parking lot. He was very knowledgable, kind, and professional. He had the defective springs replaced in no time. He also helped me with a couple of other things, just to be nice. The price was reasonable and the work is guaranteed. I can't say enough good things about Orem Locksmith, I will be referring my friends and family, knowing they will be treated with the same courtesy I was.

These guys are the best. I brought in a briefcase and asked them to re-key it because I didn't have the key anymore. Instead, they were able to determine which key I would need to replace it. While they didn't have the key in stock, they pointed me in the right direction towards getting it. That's how you know you've got an upstanding business that cares about their customers. Even if they can't help you, they'll find someway to solve your problem. These guys are leagues ahead of Bilco when it comes to customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again.

I had purchased keys on line and needed to have duplicates made. At first, the keys didn't work...but then in comes Jay to save the day. I honestly wish I had started going to Orem Locksmith sooner! These guys have been nothing but kind and awesome with me. My 3rd car fob gave up the ghost a year ago (after two other fails), and I heard they were better to go to than the dealer, who wanted up to $200 or more. Orem Locksmith programmed a new fob for me right then and there, no wait, and for a great price well under $100. When that one stopped working recently, even after replacing the battery, they told me they had seen problems with that model and gave me a brand new factory fob at no charge at all. These guys are seriously the best! Customer for life!

Great service. Came in to get fob programmed. They came right out and started programming. I bought the key from Amazon thinking I could program myself but my car is too new for self programming. The key I brought in had a bad battery and they threw one in it and didn't charge me. If I would have known better I would have just bought key from these guys. Will next time. We needed copies of a lock that was not easy to find. They were able to find the correct blank and the new keys areas smooth to use as the original. These guys are professional and very polite. I bought a new car for my wife but it only came with one key, driving down the road I saw their sign advertising car keys and remotes so I stopped in and WOW! They were so much cheaper than the dealer. I'm sure my remote is remanufactured but who cares they offered a 2 year replacement warranty and the dealer doesn't. I lost the only key to my motorcycle. They made me a new key using my gas tank lock, some computer magic, and presto I have a new key for my bike. Their competitors asked me to bring in my bike on a trailer or pull out my ignition switch and bring it into their shop. Great service, unmatched expertise, and saved me over $150 compared to what their competitors were asking me. I should have called them first and saved myself a whole of lot of frustration trying to pull my ignition switch out. Lesson learned. Orem Locksmith is awesome.

I thought I needed a new $180. FOB key. I had put a new battery in and still didn’t work. I went to Orem locksmith and between my 3 Toyota FOBs they took the time to figure out that I had switched them. They put a new battery in the right FOB and it worked, YEA. Very nice happy people. Came in asked for 4 copies of my key. Quickly they made then and then I asked for a remote key and they said they were it of stock for the kind of my car but said I could buy it now and they would call me when it came in. As I was leaving the got came out and said that they actually had one that a customer never came to pick it up so they programed that one really quick and I was off. It's like $3per copy and $75 for a remote key. Super fast and easy

We locked ourselves out of our bedroom yesterday. When trying to find a locksmith, I came across all the horror stories of companies that you call that really aren't who they claim to be or charge you three times as much as they told you over the phone once the work is finally done. Needless to say, I was not looking forward to I'm trying to play the roulette game of finding a reputable company. Nobody wants to get taken advantage of. Well, fortune smiled upon me and I came across this company. They solved my problem for $65. No surprises. What they quoted me over the phone is exactly what they charged me. Great, personable service. I'll even go further. The gentleman who came tried several different ways and tools to pick our lock, but to no avail. He was about to resort to just drilling it (which would have ruined the $50 lock), but then decided to try just a bit more with another tool he hadn't yet tried. Sure enough. It worked. No damage. No extra charges. I was very happy. There is no question this is the company I will call next time I need a locksmith.

Needed to program a second car key and I found their ad on Facebook. They quoted me $45 for the whole thing and sure enough I was able to show up, get it cut and programmed in 20 minutes and it cost me $45. Very happy with these guys. Saved me the $200 price tag from the dealer for the same thing.

Jay will save your day! Someone stole the keys to my car and I was nervous someone was going to steal my car. It's a keyless start, and the dealer wanted $300+ per key. I called Jay. New keys were $95 each. He ordered the replacement keys and had them shipped overnight. He came over and programmed the keys, cut new keys to fit the car door, and then fixed the deadbolt on my front door without me even asking! He has a full locksmithing / key making station in his van. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and put my mind at ease. The old keys are deleted from my car so I no longer have to worry about the stolen key. Don't bother with the dealers, they charge outrageous rates for key fobs. Seriously call Jay, he'll take care of you and make your day. :D

I had called one company that claimed to be Orem Lock and it turns out they were scammers pretending to be Orem Lock! they wanted over $100 to just open my car. Good people and great work.

My key broke inside the ignition of my car. The car was still running. I called them five minutes before closing and the employee named Jared told me he would wait for me to get there (it would be a 15 min drive). Jared and his co-workers waited and they were very friendly and nice. Being out of town from Florida, they made me feel very comfortable and greeted me with a nice smile even though they could of closed their store and be home instead of working. They gave me advice about driving in Utah as the winter is approaching. I am very satisfied with their service.The best customer service I ever received in my life. Purchased a pair of car keys with integrated wireless fobs for my 2003 Volkswagen Beetle. They were able to cut the keys and program their chips and wireless transponders on site. They were very busy, but were able to politely and helpfully address the needs of their customers in order.

I went to an actual dodge auto shop for a new remote key fob and they quoted me $330 for the key and to program it, and said I’d have to leave it for at least 1-2 hours. I came here to Orem lock it took them 15 minutes, and was an amazing price only a third of what dodge was gonna charge me, brand new and works great!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These guys are great. I needed a spare key cut for my car and the dealership and multiple other "locksmiths" had told me I had to pay a a ridiculous amount of money because all newer cars (including mine) had a transponder chip. These guys took one look at the key and said- nope- it doesn't have a chip in this and cut it for a couple bucks. They could have totally ripped me off because I have no idea about these things, but they didn't. I was also surprised at how young these guys were while still being super professional and courteous. Locked my keys inside my office. I called a few places. Several wanted me to commit to a trip charge, with an open ended price tag after that (depending on how hard it was to open), not these guys. When I called he said he would get me in for $45, and he did. He arrived very quickly, got the job done, left everything clean and working well. Beware of out of state companies acting like they are local locksmiths. They hire cheap labor, and have lots of BBB complaints. Great locksmiths.

Usually I go to Bilco which is also on state street, but I started coming here and it is like 10 million times better. Bilco's keys they cut for me often don't fit or work right and the customer service is never any good. here the keys always work great and it's always cheaper. A lot of times they cut the key for free for me. Way better than anywhere I have ever gone, plus they have hands down the biggest variety of keys. They find keys for super old BMW motorcycles I bring in- they have a key for anythign.
