Quick and easy in and out for some new keys. Nothing too complicated. Friendly staff. Clean store. I didn't stay long so I don't have anything more to say. It happened to conveniently popped up on my route and it was mostly accessible. I'd use their services again. They do much more than what I went in there for so check them out.

I highly recommend this locksmith. Very genuine group of people here. Chad helped me out and told me he didn’t have time to fix the lock in my door today. Long story short, he came out and started messing with my lock, knew exactly what he was doing, then ended up cleaning out the stuck lock. Honest, quick, and easy experience. This shop is a 11/10.

I have a complaint. In all of salt lake city, not a single person can cut a key for a peterbilt tractor trailer. Petrbilt dealer wants 30$ a key. This guy though, not only cut the key but his key cut is actually smoother than the original. As a bonus, he was able to cut spare keys for my padlocks I use on the trailers. If the devil has a 7th door on the 3rd floor of a torture chamber, this guy can cut the key for i it. Absolutely perfect, loved the service, all keys worked great. Thank you glens.

This is the best place to get a key! Home Depot will tell you they can do house keys, etc. but there are house key types that they can't handle and it's not worth messing with. These guys know everything - they'll tell you all the options for car keys, house keys, etc. and the service is great.

Got stuck in a bad spot with some lost keys and they got me back in my car with a replacement after a winter storm even though they were unexpectedly short-handed that day. Further, they did right by me reprogramming my original key when it was serendipitously found right after I got a replacement. I fortunately haven't required their business in almost 13 years. But when I did, it was made plain to me why I remembered to go back.

These guys saved me! I brought the wrong keys for a double padlocked case while traveling, and thought I would have to have the locks cut off or try to have the keys overnighted to me. I brought it in and they got them unlocked in no time, and didn't charge me! I gladly bought a replacement set of locks for them with matching keys to continue my trip. When I bought a 183,000 mile Lexus, the dealer handed me a key that was taped together, and there was no spare. A quick stop at Glens and I had 2 keys laser cut with working transponders/remotes. My second trip here first for a 2013 Acura now for a 2017 Maxima a second key is a must for me. I called first to confirm that it could be done, they asked I find the key fob online bring it in and they would have it programmed. I found one online. it arrived in 4 days, looks identical to the one I currently have which is OEM. The cost at the dealer was outrageous. Not every locksmith has the ability to program these keys. Perimeter key with remote and push button start. Larry helped me he was great to work with no nonsense. Had me out of there very quickly. This was done at a fraction of the cost. These guys are real pros I always recommend them to anybody who needs help with any sort of locking mechanisms.

These guys are in business because they know how to treat a person well. I came in today because my Lexus key fob broke in half. I had a spare previously cut key with me that didn’t work (would get stuck in the ignition.) A less honest locksmith could have charged me for a new key fob (around $200) but the gentleman at Glenn’s asked if he could get creative with the old one first. He filed down some of the plastic and it worked like a charm. Total cost? $0. Customer for life - yes. And I will be telling all my friends as well. It wasn’t just me either. I saw a woman just hanging out because the men at Glenn’s were so kind and jovial. I swear, if this place served beer, they would be the best bar in town. Thanks y’all! Staff and service are professional and go above and beyond. This is the second time I've worked with them. The first time, I got locked out and scammed by a locksmith who broke the lock and tried to overcharge me for a replacement. Glens came out and replaced the old one and said they could have picked it no problem. Called them this time for a house that I moved into for just one lock and they sent Maricel: professional, kind, efficient, and went well beyond what I needed. He was able to quickly pick and rekey all the locks in the house, make keys, and even make a key for a Yakima rooftop box I lost the key for in less time than I planned for him to do just the one lock. I saw some reviews say that Glens is a bit pricey, but honestly, you get what you pay for. If you pay discount prices, you get discount or even scammy service. If you pay good or premium prices, you get Maricel. Thanks for the help!

These guys were friendly, entertained my 3 year old while we waited, and were visibly enjoying their work. The Honda dealer quoted me $108 for a key copy, Glen’s quoted me $89 over he phone, and surprise- I was only charged $63! Honda also told me I would need to make a 1.5 hour appointment, and Glen’s had me in and out in 10 minutes. Excellent service!

What a great company! After locking myself out of my car on a Saturday morning, I called around to different locksmiths in my area. These guys were the only ones who could come to the rescue! Apparently, all the other shops were too "busy" or they simple weren't open on Saturdays. They quoted me a price over the phone and said their guy would be there in about 15 minutes. The technician, Larry, arrived in about 10 minutes and it only took him about 5 minutes to unlock my car! I was amazed at the speed and quality of service. There were no hidden fees or extra service charges added to the original price that they quoted me. Don't waste your time with the other companies! Call Glen's first!

Ann in the office is Wonderful! I called Glen’s after I had already been charged $30 from another “locksmith” company in the area which had only made my situation worse- I am traveling through Salt Lake and was loading my camper when my key broke off in the door, but the piece came out of the lock - called a locksmith to come out to my location and when they arrived they proceeded to pull the entire assembly off the door (even though it was open) and then tell me they couldn’t make a key, they would have to buy a whole new system from Home Depot and come back to install it.... Home Depot doesn’t sell door assemblies for a 72’ camper. When I asked why they couldn’t just make a key they said they didn’t do that and then charged me $30 for the service call! Ann completely empathize and assured me they could of course make a key for my lock and would be happy to come to my location but if I wanted to come to the shop I’d save the service call and her techs would work on the lock in the parking lot. She apologized for my experience with another company and then proceeded to give me directions that would avoid road construction and put me on the correct side of the street as to avoid crossing traffics with the trailer! Above and beyond kindness, the tech was superb... I believe his name was Josh. He made the key and when the door wasn’t behaving perfectly took the assembly off, greased it and when it still wasn’t perfect identified it was due to the gap created by the disintegration of the gasket when the first company took the assembly off. He then helped me find a temporary fix with material I had in the trailer until I could purchase the correct seal, all for the same cost of the first company. Patient, kind, professional and reliable- what a company!!! Thank you Ann and Josh (?) for turning my terrible day around!

Great service! Don't bother with anyone else. They were able to make me a key for my motorcycle, and my son's car when no one else could. I also stopped by to get my trailer hitch lock removed and they were able to get it off very quickly. I have always had fast and extremely friendly service every time I was here.

These guys are SO awesome. I programmed my own BMW fob and key transponder and only needed a key cut. NOWHERE ELSE WOULD DO IT. They all wanted a minimum of $400 dollars and would only do all or nothing. These guys not only cut a key for me for less than $40 dollars, but they told me all the nuances of programming myself and tips on issues if I had them. "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" If you need a key and AMAZKNG service these are the guys to come to. I've been here a couple of time and they have helped me beyond measures. I was recommended by another locksmith to come to these guys and didnt think much about it. When I got there they helped me immediately and while another associate was helping me find a copy for my key in the back another associate would come almost immediately without thought and ask if I needed help. Talk about customer service right! It took us a while to find the right keys for my car however when service is this good you don't think about the time. The only thought is that you have peace and comfort of knowing that these guys are going to do the job right. They did not only help me with a copy of a key but they went out of their way to check my codes on the car once the new key fob was connected to find any other errors to clear. Been there several times. I've been impressed with their work every time. Everything is done by hand like the old days at the hardware store. No dumb machines with uneven cuts at Glenn's. Price is slightly more than Home Depot, but totally worth it for the craftsmanship. They also made a new key based on my bringing them a door knob that I had no key to from my garage.

The staff is always the best and they carry almost any type of key duplication you can think of, plus many extras. These guys do very quick and accurate work for a very fair price. If you're thinking about getting spares made at somewhere like Walmart or Lowe's come here instead. The keys they make work just like the original and don't have to be "broken in" like a cheap Walmart key would. I highly recommend their work!

Ordered some cheap transponder flip keys for my car online, only to find out that nobody can or would cut them. Starting at Home Depot, then Lowes, Ace, Standard, local lock smiths... I kept getting ran around, can't cut the key, wouldn't cut the key unless I purchased from them, etc. I lost hope and attempted to return the keys, the online company referred me to Glens. Long story short, they cut my keys, them, second one at a discount, programmed them, and even repaired my original keyfob (free of charge). The technician was extremely knowledgeable, he informed me what to look out for with cheap online keys. Any problems I have they'll take care of. Customer for life, amazing experience. Highly recommended as your first stop!

My husband lost his Mazda key FOB and the Mazda dealer in town said it would be ~$270 to replace (buying the key FOB, then programming it). They also said that they were the only ones that could program it. Well, we decided to try to buy a FOB online (~$40) and have it cut and programmed at Glen's Key (recommended by another locksmith in town), and they were very upfront that it might not work because who knows the quality/authenticity of the online key. They said they could have a guaranteed key (without a FOB) for $80 or they could try to cut and program it for a total of $60, so we decided to try the second option. It happened to work out great for us, they were super quick at it (<10 minutes), and they were also very sweet to my little 2 year-old. Very grateful for their upfront honesty and kindness!!

Glen's Key has been amazing to me. I lost my car keys and had to get it replaced pronto, I go to and work full time so I really needed my car. The lady on the phone was nice and asked when I wanted to get it done. She scheduled for that time and I met them at my car. The man who made my key was extremely nice and only took 10 mins to get my key done. He even gave me my key code in case anything ever happens again! No other key place would do that for you. Then to top it off, he said he would give me an extra key for the same price!! It was so nice of him, it really made my day. I will only and always go to this place for my key needs!

They were able to make a condo pool key for $14 that costs $75 from condo manager. Was to replace my lost legit key so wasn’t like I was making an illegal duplicate to give away. They also explained utah law that even do not duplicate on a key is still legal to duplicate. Still there are some commercial keys I would not like my PO Box key. Awesome service. Needed a new key for my 2008 Chevy Impala because the old one was worn and I had to fiddle with it to get it to turn. I did not want a key cut from the old key because then you have a new key that is already worn out. They figured out the key code and cut me a new key, no more fiddling with it. Works like new. Much cheaper than the dealer and they even showed me how to program it to the car. They also made new keys for my ATV's while I was there. Would definitely recommend.

Todd is magical! Ordered keys to fit our Honda to replace the original two that were wearing out. But then when I went to get them programmed at a local dealership they said it was the wrong key and I needed to purchase entirely new ones. The strange part was that the key would open the door, but would not turn the ignition. Since I don't trust this dealership, I had another dealership take a look. They tried putting some lubricant on the key and it still would not turn. Still trying to save money, I tried Glens Lock and Key and the third time was a charm! As soon as you walk in to Glens, you know it’s not an ordinary locksmith. I own a 25-y.o. car with a single copy of a beat up key. When Todd first tried to copy that key for me, it didn’t work. The second time didn’t work, either. On his third attempt, he spent a full 20 minutes re-shaping that same key until it worked. I’ve never seen anyone work that hard for a single transaction of only $4.99. But for these guys it’s not about the money—it’s about customer service. They may be a hair more expensive than big retailers, but I can guarantee that I would still only have a single working key for my car, had I gone anywhere but here.
