Fantastic service from Colby. Was very responsive on time. Was within the predicted time slot. Very knowledgeable on his trade and was able to talk us through what he is doing. And got our key right first try. Absolutely will use the service again.

The dealership wanted to charge me $350 for a new key and $130 to program it. I was told that a locksmith could not do it. Extra Locksmith was able to do it, and at a fair price. They were the most professional crew I've dealt with in a while. Wilbur was great and explained everything to me as he successfully programmed my spare car key. I can't say enough about how happy I am that I went here instead of a dealership!

HUGE shout out to Colby! Who came to a mamas rescue Lol. I had called other locksmiths and they were extremely sketchy, giving me insane amounts in quotes anywhere from $200-250 just to unlock my car for me. When i called your office the man that answered the phone was so nice and willing to help and gave me a price and i was blown away! it was less then half of what the other company had quoted me and said they would have a guy out there AsAP. And sure enough Here comes Colby! He was So sweet and knowledgeable about everything and got it done so fast!!! And explained everything along the way. And also made me feel So safe since it was at night, And i was already nervous about meeting up with a complete stranger. Like i said he was So extremely nice, professional and most importantly made me feel safe and comfortable working with him! I called almost every locksmith in Provo, these guys are by far the best! 10/10 would recommend, they went above and beyond! I thought I left my key in my locked car, and called 10 locksmiths to get quotes, Extra had the best price in all of Provo just for a lockout. Then when they came quick and opened it, my key wasn't in the car. I told the tech he could go and I would call them back if they were the best quote. I called 6 different locksmiths to get quotes on replacement fobs or just programming one I buy off of amazon. Most wouldn't even program a key they didn't sell me. I bought one cheap off of amazon and Extra was one of the only ones who would program it. They also had a great price, When I called to get a quote they noticed that they helped me with a lockout 2 days before and said that they would put that bill towards the reprogramming fee. They came and the new fob works great, and after all of that, the tech made and gave me a spare lockout key w/o fob for free. Really excellent job

So grateful for good key/locksmith service at a physical location in Utah Valley! My son lost/broke both of the keys to his car. We called multiple locksmiths and even tried the dealership, but only got the key code--no one would make a new key for him on a Saturday. After spending two hours getting the run-around from everyone else who wanted to charge an arm and a leg for mobile service or make us wait til Monday, we finally found these guys who cut a new key for us in 10 minutes and only charged $20 (it's an old car, so we didn't need a fob or any electrinics--just the key). I would highly recommend Extra Locksmith. When I called them to find out the cost to replace car keys, they were willing to price match another locksmith who had quoted me a lower price. They were super fast and professional. As our car had been sitting for a couple weeks, it wouldn't hold a charge after starting it. The technician helped jump our vehicle. Super nice and efficient! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, was due to the fact the technician didn't leave me a message when he called prior to our original appointment time. I had been on the phone when he called. Just when I was about to call them, as the time of our appointment was almost over, I received a call. I was asked if they could come at a later time since I hadn't answered the call. That was a little frustrating as I always check my messages and would've called back. Aside from that, outstanding service!! There's a reason they have such high ratings. Reading all the positive reviews is why I decided to use them versus the other locksmith I was going to go with. I would absolutely use them again! Very impressed.

I lost my car key on Saturday night on a mountain bike ride. I called Extra Locksmith, and their Technician, Barry, showed up at the trailhead within an hour. Barry was incredibly nice, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly made me two new keys at a very fair price. All things considered, my experience with Extra Locksmith couldn't have been better.

The service was affordable and excellent. The technician I had was quick, professional, and empathetic. I don't know the necessity of this to programming my new keys, regardless, whatever fuse my technician replaced got my radio working again. It had been broken for 6+ months. Definitely a nice silver lining to having my keys go missing. 10/10 would recommend.

I lost my car key (and house key). I thought maybe they were locked in my back seat. Barry was at our house in under 10 min. He got our car unlocked and knew how to turn off the alarm because the keys weren't there either. Barry was able to provide me with a new fob and re-key the locks on my house (the same day). Their estimate was reasonable. They keep some fobs in inventory and can get others in 3 -5 days. They were a much better alternative to having to tow my car to a dealership just to order a fob. I recommend them and would call them again, easily.

Great service. The owner happened to be in the office when i arrived and while they were cutting my keys I got to hear about the company. Great customer service they are bringing some heavy competition to the market. I called 5 different places + the dealership and Extra Locksmith is the cheapest around and you get high quality work as well. Extra locksmith is not like 95% of other Locksmiths! They are up front and honest. They will tell you on the phone how much it'll cost. Most other locksmiths will tell you a fee just to show up and then give you a price range on what it might come to. Extra locksmith got here fast and the time frame that they said they would be. Hunter was my service technician. He was awesome!! It was like asking a friend to come over and help me. He was very nice professional and fast. I would trust him leaving him alone in my apartment. He's a good person and honest. After my experience I will always call Extra Locksmith every time!! 😃😃😁😇👍👍🙌

Somehow lost both sets of keys to my Camry. Scott came within 20 minutes of my call to unlock my car only to find that the keys were not locked inside as I had hoped. I am very impressed by this company. I called and the representative on the phone was very considerate and understanding of my situation. I had lost my car key and didn't have a spare. They have a large variety of keys, but didn't sell my key- I have an older car. The representative called a dealership, had a technician pick up the key and the technician then brought it to my house. I was very impressed by the communication, attention to detail, and professionalism that was demonstrated by each employee. They made a stressful situation easy. I highly recommend Extra Locksmith!

The smart lock on my door decided to stop working while I was out, and when I came home there was no way for me to get in my house. I called Extra locksmith based on their good Yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint! They were to my house in less than 10 minutes and we're able to get us inside and install a completely new lock in about an hour (it would have been less but the hole from the previous lock was a was a weird size and he had to run back to the office to find something that would fit). I had stopped to fill up one of my car's tire with air at a 711 and mistakenly thought that my car's doors were unlocked. To my dismay I found myself locked out of my running car after filling up the air with my phone inside.
