I never leave reviews but have to for this one. I just learned today that locksmiths actually have a great business model when helping someone who is locked out: they often have a desperate customer who is not in a position to shop around. In my case, I just needed to get back in the house, and soon. So I call these guys, and they are super friendly and show up w/ in 15 min. I asked the price on the phone, they said $30 for the housecall and they'd let me know the price of the service once they saw the lock; sounded legit but I don't like being put in that position of learning the price w/ the guy there and ready to complete the job. So the guy shows up and says it will be $169 to pick the lock. Total of $199. Oh my, what a business! I was shell shocked, but not in the position to set him loose and call someone else. Thankfully he was good and lucky and got me back in the house w/ in 10 min. BTW, I find it curious that there are sooo many great reviews for these guys and so far I've yet to see one that mentions a price they paid for lock-out service. Hmm. I'm thinking many of these reviews are bogus. Bottom line: fast and efficient service, but VERY expensive.
