Misplaced my bike key, I'll officially call it lost if it never turns up LOL, stopped by Saturday morning with a couple factory Victory key blanks and the ignition cylinder. They decoded my Lock pins, cut two keys, and I picked up a generic blank key as well. The blank key is for a custom revolver key Fob that matches my other bullet accessories, I can put the blank key with the revolver cylinder in at shows and no one can steal my bike because it's a blank key. Guys knocked out out faster than I expected and works perfectly! I highly recommend Bob's for all your locksmith and Safe needs! Thanks guys!

I’ve used their services a few times but the last service topped it. They performed a full rekey on my car door, in the cold. They quoted about 3 hours but it literally only took an hour or less. The service was quick, the staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

Jack came to our house to rekey some locks today. He was incredibly professional and on time for the set appointment. He worked quickly and the locks changed in no time. This company prices are unbeatable. We had another company quote us $300 to have two locks done and that didn’t include keys or any service fee. This company was able to do the same thing for $150 ish and was fast and professional. I will %100 be calling them with any needs in the future!

My fob key broke off. I bought a couple new keys on Amazon. The locksmith near me is a weirdo, so I actually went about 20 minutes out of my way to go here because of the great reviews I've seen. I'm glad I did. They got my keys cut and programmed in no time, and they threw in a free spare to unlock the doors. Even including the money I'd already spent on the keys, I got 2 keys all done for less than just the key, not even cut or programmed, would've been from the local guy. Highly recommend this place.

I bought some oak cabinets from an auction. They HAVE to be 30 years old or more. All with cabinet locks, but for which no key could be found. Dropped the locks off one afternoon, and the next day they called to say they had been able to make a key. I have 8 matching cabinets. Would have cost me $200+ to replace the locks. Bob's charged me $50, and I got 4 match keys. Fast service, affordable service, and every single one of the lads was professional, courteous, and super pleasant.

I needed a replacement fob for my Hyundai Azera on extremely short notice and while the dealers totally couldn't help me, Bob's came through. Gary came out the same day and was able to get me the replacement I needed in a lightning fast turn around, for a fair price. The result is a fob and key that is identical to what the dealer gave me, except better quality somehow. The old fob was lost due to a problem with the locking mechanism attaching the fob to the emergency key never being able to stay securely in place even when fully snapped or "locked" into place. This meant that the key would slide free from the fob at no more urging than a slight tug, this meant I would frequently have to retrace my steps to find where the fog had dropped unexpectedly. This final, fatal time, it was unrecoverable lost. Happily, Bob's version does not have this problem whatsoever! Additionally, while the original emergency key did work, with a little coaxing, the new one created by Gary (the Bob's attendant who showed up to help me) made one that works like a swiss clock by comparison. The fob and key stay securely held together. I really am blown away by the great service, superb turnaround, and the quality of the craftsmanship which far exceeded even the original key fob set. Highly recommended! Would give 6 stars if I could!

I called a couple other locksmith's before Bob's... Both of them had an answering service and that person couldn't give prices or answer questions. They had to have someone call me back. When they did call back they both said they would have to drill the locks. I didn't want that because the doors and locks were brand new. I called Bob's and the guy that answered was super helpful and was able to answer my questions (no answering service callback) and he was able to get the technician here in an hour. The tech (Mike) was fast and friendly. I just realized they have been in business since 1970 and it shows because they know what they are doing. Price was reaonable as well. I will use them from now on!

Every 2 to 3 years, my vans key-fob quits working. Rather than get a new one from the dealer and pay $300 to $400 (or more) for a single replacement key, I buy a blank fob from amazon for about $20 and have these guys program it for $75; they even cut the physical key at the same time. I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

I have used Bob's Lock and Key a couple of times now. The first time was to get my condo re-keyed when I moved into my new condo. The second time was when I had to get the lock on my mailbox replaced. Both times the locksmiths did a wonderful job and were super helpful. Randy, the locksmith that helped replace my mailbox lock was especially kind. I was curious about how the process went, so he let me stick around and he answered all of my questions. A couple days later I noticed that the new mailbox lock wasn't working and Randy returned promptly to fix the issue! They can order brand new OEM key fobs from the manufacturer, or refurbished OEM for cheaper. Total cost for the brand new key, programming, and cut was more than $200 cheaper than the dealer and works great. What else is there more to say? Fast, professional, and affordable.

I called this company after finding them online along with multiple others. I had called three whom it said that they would call me back and never did within the allotted time they had given me. I’m in the middle of moving and knew that my keys were somewhere but I obviously needed them within the next two hours and I didn’t wanna have to pay the full 350 for the full remote Justin kindly recommended that I do the basic key which was less than half the price. He was already on his way to me when I found my real set. He would not accept any form of payment. Even though he had taken the time out of his day. I would recommend this company any day and I will for sure be keeping their phone number and info. I also had another company call me back who was completely rude and totally tried to stiff me and tell me all these different lies which a quick Google search found that he was just trying to rip me off. So be careful who you go through don’t make a mistake and choose these guys first

Called another locksmith service following a Google search. Other company had me waiting 20 minutes for a call back which never came. Called them for status on their call back & got a runaround -- bunch of talk & another 20 minute wait. Finally called Bob's & help was there in 15 minutes. Young lady was nice & capable, and I was back in my car within minutes from when she pulled up. I learned a lesson about trying to rely upon people who post ads saying they can help you for less money. Don't waste your time freezing, standing next to your car, bummed out because you locked your keys inside. Call professionals, like Bob's.

Called other vendors in area to move and install a safe for me. These other vendors were very high priced. Well beyond reasonable. Called Bob’s and received a very fair quote. They were available for a next day install. Scheduled their service immediately. They called to confirm appointment. Then showed up a few minutes early. We walked the job and they moved the safe very quickly. Very professional and careful. They even cleaned the wheels on the power dolly after entering the house. Secured the safe to the floor and cleaned up afterwards. They were careful with drilling the anchor holes so as not to pull or damage the carpet. They were very nice to deal with and again their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company to move your safe. Can’t hire a better firm to get the job done.

Five star service…. Fast & good service albeit a bit pricy, but who isn’t? The first key I had made was $425.00 non remote, the second key which was the remote was $195.00 . At $425.00 to rekey and come to my house I thought I was getting a remote key. They didn’t have one on the service truck. My misunderstanding, possibly so. I’m sure they’re competitive. Ouch… so… I Paid $620.00 plus tax for two keys, a remote key and non remote after misplacing mine. Folks I suggest you get extra keys ahead of time! Much cheaper than having to reprogram new keys. Overall happy with the fast and professional service-, both locksmiths that came out were very courteous and professional. Two thumbs up to them!

They saved me $200+. My key fob stopped working for my Chrysler 200 and I went to the dealership which advised me that it would be around $450 to program a new key for my car. I saw the reviews online and asked for a quote to program a new key which was about half the price the dealership gave me. I finally went in and they just tested the battery for the key and that’s all that needed to be replaced. Key works just fine now. Cost me $10. Super fast and friendly service. Would highly recommend. They don’t scam people and that’s the best feeling knowing you can get honest service. Thanks guys!

Calling this place is the best decision I have ever made. My purse was stolen and my car keys were in it. I called the dealership and they were no help. I bought a used car that uses those "smart keys", and it only came with 1 key. I asked the dealership how much it would cost to get another one, and they told me it would be over $300.00. There was no way I was going to fork that over, so I searched and found Bob's Lock and Key. I decided to give them a try and see if I could do better than what the "Stealership" wanted. Steve was awesome and hooked me up with a spare key for about $100.00 less. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. He was very thorough and made sure that the new key, as well as the other spare, worked properly after he was done programming it. I would definitely recommend this place. Just be aware that if you are looking for their West Valley shop, it is quite small and easy to miss, so you may have to do a U-turn or two before you find it, and parking could be a challenge if they are busy at the time. Also, and this is not a negative thing, be aware that if you need a spare smart key that they may have to order it and have it delivered before they can set it up with your car. It may also expedite the process if you come to their shop in person with the current key you have first so that they can order the correct key and not get the wrong one on accident, as there are literally hundreds of different smart keys with different FCC numbers and styles that match many makes and models. Even the most experienced locksmith will be challenged to find the exact key for these newer cars, so just be aware of that and help them out a bit so everything goes smoothly.

Quick service, I didn’t have any key because I had totally lost them. They came in and verified that I was the owner and pulled key layout by placing a key that measures the teeth in the door. The key worked smoothly and the whole process only took 15 mins. My truck didn’t require a chip key but if it had they had assured me that programming a new key without a master key on average takes them 10 more mins after cutting the key.

Traveling and camping from out of state, our Thule roof box key broke in half, and the replacement key we thought we were carrying was not a replacement key. Rack and Road did not have our key, the three REIs did not have our key. REI tried every key from the master set in our box, but our box did not open, since it was a few years old. The only option they could think of was selling us new lock cylinders and finding a locksmith to pick the lock open then replacing the cylinders. A call to Bob's, and a drive to their storefront resulted in us walking in with the broken key, they looked up the code, and cut us new keys for the existing cylinders in no time flat. The cylinders later got returned to REI for a great savings. Thanks for rescuing us and all of our gear from disaster!

Perfect service. Helped me out in a pinch when i was locked out of my bedroom. I tried to unlock it myself with a butter knife and a credit card. Also tried to pick it with a paper clip. I had them move a small but very heavy safe into my basement. When they arrived they were not entirely happy about the scenario that faced them but they stepped up to the challenge and did their job. This is, in my opinion, the character of professionals. Perhaps 90% of the move was very easy but one position in my home proved to be not only a major PITA but quite dangerous. Their experience and ingenuity doing this sort of task showed through when they formulated a plan and successfully executed it. This single spot consumed approximately thirty to forty minutes of the entire hour process. They placed the safe right where I desired it to be and took care to do it right, safely as possible and avoiding damage to the home. I have used BLS&K for lock services in the past and was also very satisfied with the service. The price is well worth it even if higher than others. I will not only call them for future jobs but will recommend them to everyone and anyone I find seeking the services they offer. Much appreciated guys. Great job!

Russ came out for a small job on our door lock. He expected to have to replace the entire mechanism, but on arrival, said he could simply rekey the existing lock, saving us some money. He also noticed the door knob latch didn't quite meet the strike plate, so he reamed out the plate so that worked too, done at no charge. Nice bit of lagniappe!

Be aware of scammers, when it comes to lock smith or movers, always shop local and get a price upfront, if you don't believe me, look at the horror stories about lock smiths on the web and Youtube. Having said that; I called 4 lock smiths yesterday, one was 175 dollars the other wanted 25 dollars just to come to my house and 95 dollars plus any additional fees to program my FOB. The other two quoted me 35 and 42 dollars. I went with a Bob being the cheapest and only 10 min from my house. I was in and out within 15 min. Great service, great price. Simply put, don't bother going anywhere else, Bob's shop is the best.

We were locked out of our house on capital hill in the 100 degree heat today. We tried every window and all the doors with no luck. Thought for a moment about breaking a window but decided against it because it would have been more expensive in the end and would leave an unsecured opening for who knows how long. We don’t carry keys anymore as our locks are electronic with touchpad code entry. We’ve never had a problem opening the kwikset smart locks but today the batteries were to low to allow the bolt to retract. We called Bob’s Lock and they were eager to help us out with our dilemma and gave us a quote over the phone. We told them what type of lock it was and they told us they could pick the lock with no damage. I had no idea what the going rate was so I let Justin at Bob’s Lock know that I needed to call a few of his competitors for price comparison. The next company I called told me it was a service call plus labor but wouldn’t give me an exact total over the phone so I moved to the next number that came up on google. This company gave me a quote but could not guarantee that they could open the kwikset smart lock without drilling. I decided I’d call Bob’s Locksmith as based on the fact that I wasn’t getting the straight answers and guarantees that I was looking for from the other companies I had contacted. I scheduled the job with Bob’s and they were to my house quicker than expected. They inspected the deadbolt and informed me that they had invested in a special tool that would allow them to open the kwikset smartlocks flawlessly. And yes they followed through on their promise, opened the lock quickly and even provided me with a free key. I asked if they could check the batteries and they were able to determine that it was a low battery problem that caused the lockout situation. They provided and installed the batteries and now the lock is working perfectly. Thanks to the expertise of Gary, the tech Bob’s dispatched, we are now able to access our house once again. And with the spare key he made for the lock, if the batteries die, we will always have a backup to unlock the door. I’m very pleased and greatly appreciate the prompt and expert service. I will be calling Bob’s Locksmith next time the need arises and would advise anyone to do the same.

Bob's lock shop saved the day for me! My sister lost her valet key to her 2000 sienna van so we needed to have a new master key made. This process entails taking out the ecm and reprogramming or reflashing it so new transponder keys will be recognized. The toyota dealer quoted me a price north of $1100 plus a week long wait as they would have to replace the ecm with a new one that wasn't in stock. Josh came out and quickly did the above process using his mobile van and had the van running within 45 minutes. Fortunately, I had two transponder keys already cut as spares to get into the van, but they had never been able to be programmed to start the van as the original owner had lost the master keys. Long story short, Bob's saved me over a thousand dollars as the total price was $250 tax and service charge included. My sister has three young children and works full time so this was no small issue that Bob's took care of! Thank you so very much! FYI, there are very few shops that can deal with this particular issue as it's an old ecm on an old car.
