Sadly, we had to avail ourselves of Clark’s Locksmith service this past Saturday. On the positive side, Thomas was prompt, courteous, fast and reliable. Most of us never want to have to use a service like this, but if you do it’s good to find someone you can trust and count on. Thank you!

I originally had an issue with this company after receiving terrible service. After calling multiple times and leaving two reviews I finally got someone to call me back and they made it right. I am impressed with how they handled it in the end and felt supported. If you have issues with someone, keep calling and request echo- she was very understanding, kind and helpful. My only “complaint” is that their comment response to my last review said that someone tried to call multiple times, and that was not true. I called multiple times over a period of a week before I got ONE call back, but I was working so they left a message. Once I called back they did however help me and took care of the issue And assured me that this was not common practice. They refunded me completely and told me that they would investigate the poor customer service I had. I was impressed with how caring Echo was. I would probably use them again, as I said I was impressed with how kind and helpful Echo was. I deleted my second review but for some reason am unable to delete my first one. But I would definitely give them another chance.

Wow, I was so impressed!!!!! I woke up to realize I locked a door I don’t have a key for, and randomly googled some locksmiths. I called Clark’s Locksmith Solutions and the operator was so nice, I immediately got out of my bad mood. The locksmith, Brian, arrived within 20 minutes and was able to unlock the door seamlessly! We had a really pleasant conversation and laughed so much! I don’t want to get locked out of my place again, but if I do, I will be relieved to know Clark’s will be there for me! Needed a new ignition/lock keyed and a fob disabled due to theft, Alex came out and was super friendly and helpful. I am so thankful for John! I had a different servicer/company help install a new doorknob w/code system and they did a shoddy job. Today: I couldn’t even close/lock my door!!!! Out of desperation, I called Clark’s around 5:30pm and John showed up to my house at 8:00pm and finished the job in less than 15 minutes. Arrived to work in North Portland to find someone drilled through our locks trying to break in. We were unable to get into the business because of the damage. I had a guy named Alex come to my place to get the key done. He actually was $200 cheaper then what I expected and gave me the option to go with the traditional style key instead of the key fob. These guys are awesome! The latch mechanism in the doorknob of the front door of my house broke, leaving my door permanently fastened shut. After trying various ways to fix it myself, I exhausted everything I could think of to try and called these guys. They responded immediately and had my door open and a new doorknob /lock mechanism installed only a little over a half hour since I called them. Not only that, but the locksmith was professional, friendly, and informative. Great experience!

Needed a couple of car key fobs made. Clark's quoted me a price range that was significantly lower (like 1/2 to 2/3) than some of the other places I called. When the technician, Alex, called to confirm my appointment, he actually said he could do it for lower than that. Alex was prompt, professional, and straight shooter, which I appreciate. Will definitely use them again if the need arises in the future.

These guys are legit! I was getting quoted crazy amount for a spare key to my prelude with the other locksmiths around. It was Still was not cheap but I didnt have to give half my paycheck. Kris was patient with my car which was not so easy to work on, but he's a pro and got it done. He also recommended an extra key for future situations likes this. And it was still better then the competition price. Give these guys a call if you ever need a spare key !

This locksmith was so wonderful from start to finish! They answered right away (on a Saturday too) and were able to connect me with a technician right away. We loved our technician Flynn! He was simply a delight to work with! He kept in contact with us when he was on his way and got the job done super quick! Just a super friendly guy! Also they had the best prices in town(I called 20+ places) and they really worked with us because honestly this was an unexpected expense right before having to pay a bunch of moving costs. Lost my only key to my car that was parked on the street in NW Portland. I called and they told me someone could be there reasonably soon and I got a call that they were on their way at the time quoted. Alex showed up and he was great. Friendly, obviously knew his stuff. Got into the car, took out the glove compartment lock to work with, and in a reasonably short amount of time I was on my way with two new keys. And given what I’d been quoted from the dealership to just get a single replacement key, it wasn’t hugely expensive. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again ( but hope I don’t need to)

Had to stop by and give a shout-out to Jake the technician who helped me get back into my apartment last night. Turned what could've been a potentially horrible night into a minor inconvenience. He showed up earlier than estimated and was able to get me back into my apartment with no problem. on top of it, he was very pleasant and the experience was as smooth as possible. Already locked their phone number into my cellphone just in case I ever need a locksmith again.

Even though I said it wasn't a rush job, Aaron came out within an hour of my call, and was able to rekey four deadbolts in about 45 minutes (even though one of them was a particularly complicated one!). I am on vacation, and ended up losing my keys. Called around, and Clark's seemed the cheapest and fastest. Their dispatcher set me up quickly, telling me a tech would call me shortly. Ten minutes later, Flynn called me back and said that he could be there within 40 minutes. I put the phone down, and before my next blink finished Flynn had arrived. He was extremely professional, collecting my information and making a new key in under 15 minutes. It was a pleasure to have him help me, and he deserves a pay increase because of his punctuality, professional attitude, and excellent service!

Far and away the best locksmith experience I've had. I don't recall the name of the operator who took the call, but she was very professional and helpfully scheduled an appointment for when I was finished working. The technician Flynn was great; enjoyable to talk to and had the car opened in just a couple minutes, and made a spare door key on the spot. The price was reasonable ($108 + $10 for spare) and frankly, given how quick and well the job was done, well worth it.

Robert was there when he said he would be, and gave me an exact quote before performing unbelievably quick service. He also did it without causing any damage to my building's door, which is great. The best Locksmith I have ever experienced. Ashton was very helpful, polite and best at what is doing. Even though they have the window of 2 hours but they can call you 30 minutes before they get to your places , that is very thoughtful so that you do not feel stuck . Ashton again was very patients and helped me find the best solution for both of us to get things done. Amazing young man with the best services minded. 5 star experience, hands down. Ashton helped me where I locked my keys in my car at work. I called ahead of time for after work- they were on time, efficient, and a no hassle transaction. My car also has frameless windows which he was able to work around without any damage. Just before I thought it was all said and done, my car wouldn't start since they were in the ignition draining the battery all day. Just before he left, I waved him down and he helped push and jump my car. Without him, I wouldn't have made it home after a 12 hour day. Thank you for the excellent service.

I had a clumsy moment and flushed my keys down an automatically flushing toilet. I called in and told them the same thing and asked what my options were, (I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve needed a locksmith so I didn’t know the process or services offered, and I told him that) the man on the phone said “ well we’re not plumbers so...” In that moment, that one comment was enough for me to hate him and his entire bloodline. I didn’t call a plumber and ask “what are my options?”. I called a locksmith and asked that question! He was then taking my information and he wasn’t easy to talk too. I genuinely thought I’d have to call again to confirm I was actually going to have a locksmith coming . I was stuck at work on my first day and in another state, far from home, and had not that much money. I was scared I was going to remain stuck, I have severe anxiety and was pretty much on the verge of a panic attack. All I wanted was help and this man immediately made my experience worse. Bless the heart of the locksmith that actually came out to assist me as the person who answered the call was not the person who came to help me. BLESS that locksmith, she was so sweet and kind and helpful. She informed me that my car is what you call a “Frankenstein” and that it would be more work and cost more money. That was also stressful but she made the process very swift and easy and she made me feel so much better about my situation and she improved my day. I believe her name was Amy. Some phone etiquette training is due for whomever they had answering the phone today at noon! These 5 stars are for Amy and Amy only, if I had to include that guy in my rating, you’d get a 3!

I had a 2018 Mazda 3 push-to-start I bought used but was only provided one key for. I bought a pair of key fobs online and requested for Clark's to come program it. They happily obliged and came after hours on the same day of the request to my home. Ahead of time they called me to confirm the appointment which was appreciated. Kris was very polite, understood my request with little explanation, and immediately went to work. He was able to get the first key to pair without issue. The second one wouldn't pair, and he attempted a full reset all the key fobs and still didnt go, but he checked with his resources and did everything he could to get it to work, and made sure not to cut the key so that I could get it returned (which is not a big deal because I can program it myself now that I have two working ones). A+ service, very professional operation, wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Kris was very awesome and down to Earth. I couldn't get the key to open the rear hatch in my car, and mysteriously one of my backup keys (which worked in the door and ignition) wouldn't even go into the lock cylinder. Kris figured out that my backup had been cut from a different blank. He then cut a new key based off my working one to better match the fresh tumblers, cleaned and lubed the lock, worked it back and forth a million times to get the two acquainted, and now the lock is smooth as butter. Much better than my idea of opening the hatch with a screwdriver and violence.
