I needed a laser cut RFID key copied on a newly purchased late model F150 and checked with multiple places before calling Advantage. The receptionist took my information and called me back promptly to say they could copy the key. I went to their store location and after the technician examined the key and vehicle he determined they would need to order the type of key in. They were friendly and they technician who helped me gave me information on the after market alarm system installed but not activated on the vehicle. I declined the mobile service as the vehicle was going to a coworker who lived outside of the Tigard area (extra fee for the distance) but was not charged for their time. If I need a key made in the future I will check with Advantage as I found them to be knowledgeable, honest and efficient.

Truly amazing work ethic! I was trying to get another key for my wife's Lexus SUV. I went to Advantage because they helped me before, years ago; plus the dealership is a little bit too proud of the keys they make... Advantage worked almost two hours with my eBay electronic key trying to get it to work but to no avail. They told me to send the key back and would get a key they knew would work. They called me when the key arrived. I went there and they spent another hour trying to get that electronic key to work. When they couldn't get it to work, they sent me to the dealer as the problem seemed to relate to our cars computer. The dealer was able to get it to work after a hardware upgrade. My point is, Advantage worked 3 hours on our cars lock system. They would not take a dime for their work because the key never worked; even though the problem was with the car and not the key. I spent a small fortune at the dealership but never had to pay Advantage for their time. Super people!!! I will always go to their shop in the future!

Got locked out of my car and called them for help. They got me into my car. But the customer service was not great. Two guys showed up and the guy in training was very nice. But the guy training him was not polite during our transaction. My wallet was locked in my car so I had to transfer money to my friend so they could pay him. And he gave me attitude for having to wait 30 seconds for that to happen, not the way you treat your customers.

Very pleased with the help I received from Adam today. I ran into to some issues with my immobilizer and my ECU not reading my chipped key during a full auto to manual to manual swap.. Adam took the time to help me trouble shoot. He tried resetting my keys to match the new ECU but the car was rejecting them. After a few try’s with multiple computers he suggested making a new key. He was persistent in helping me make sure I had a key that would work and even stayed to make sure the car would start one he made the new key. 10/10 recommend. Ami (pronounced amy) was an angel tbh. i was locked out of my house for 2hrs trying to find a non sketchy locksmith cause apparently there's tons. she showed up pretty quickly and took care of business. i guess my favorite part of our interaction was that i forgot i was frustrated because her vibe was very calming. i know this seems weird but after getting off of work, dropping your keys and your house key snaps for some reason, you start losing it immediately knowing that its afterhours. she knew how to do her job and well. also my cat liked her so that's gotta mean something right? lol no but in all seriousness, great work Ami, i truly appreciate your hard work. Had to have a mailbox lock replaced. While the estimate over the phone was less than the actual cost, it was in line with their competitors and what could be found online from researching. MOST IMPORTANT was the GREAT customer service. While they were late to the scheduled appointment, THEY called ahead to say they were running late and apologized. They were knowledgeable and up front about what had to be done; best and worst case scenarios so you knew what you were getting into and how much it'd cost. This was done BEFORE the work was started. My husband lost his car keys last night (car, house, mailbox). We didn’t realize they were missing until this morning when he tried to leave for work and couldn’t find them anywhere. Quickly, I came to understand the magnitude of the stolen keys; the person who ransacked his car was now in possession of the keys to our entire lives. Once he found his spares, I made two phone calls: Advantage Lock and Key and the police department. Within an hour, David was at our house. He quickly replaced all of our locks. David was friendly, fast and seriously saved me from an anxiety attack. Later in the day, I ventured out to their shop to have some additional keys made and BOOM! Free keys.
