After about 7 phone calls and inquiries to different places, including a Highly Recommended Big Time Dealer, I just kept getting jacked around on all sorts of quotes, hidden fees, and well you know the drill. Phil was very thorough of events leading up to leaving my keys in the car...reminded me that insurance will reimburse me...which will be almost 200 dollars....per the reason of 4 stars instead of 5. Nicole arrived when she said she would but the name on the van didn't say West Valley Lock but another company. It's possible WVL sub-contracts out some of their calls because I noticed other company names mentioned in the reviews. Anyhow, Nicole was courteous and quick, had the truck open in 10 minutes and @ $75 service charge + $5 charge for spare key the cost wasn't too outrageous.

I lost my keys the other night and they were the only set I had. I called Toyota and they said in order for me to get a new key and the car reprogrammed was to get the car towed to their dealership. I couldn't afford the time to do this and wait 1.5 hours to get the key reprogrammed, so I did a quick search on Google and West Valley Locksmith pulled up. Morty answered and said he could be out to my house within an hour. When he arrived, he had the kid ready to reprogram. He was able to reprogram it in less than 30 min and I was back in action. His rates are very fair as well. If you EVER have an issue with losing your keys, call them first. I will be telling all my friends about WVLS!! These guys are the real deal!

He was up front and honest with pricing on the phone and there were no hidden or surprise charges after the service was performed; many locksmith companies try to add surprise extra charges or charge a "weekend emergency rate" just because it is Saturday afternoon but Mike did not do that. He charged a reasonable visit charge and simple flat rate per lock. He re-keyed 6 locks quickly and properly and left no markings or mess behind.
