25-30 arrival. Initially quoted $15 visit fee +$35 expected quote to open bottom lock with lockwedge. Tech arrived and made it sound overcomplicated then quoted $185+$15. Negotiated to $80+$15, ended up giving $100 in cash because no change. Took 30 secs to open. Didn’t appreciate the negotiation strategy, but needed to access apartment and would likely hire again if needed because of speed of reply/etc..

I don’t often leave reviews - I do feel, however, that these guys deserve it! I decided to take a road trip back to my hometown in Philly. I left my car parked in old city after a night of drinking and realized the next morning that my car battery was dead. I called these guys and and mike was able to unlock my car. To my surprise, I had a locksmith unlock my car before and it resulted with some door damage... Mike was my guy and no damage was left on my car. The man I spoke with on the phone did not give me the correct pricing information before sending the guy out to help me get back into my house. I was told $15 service charge plus an additional $35 dollars max dependent upon which method had to be used to get into my home. I repeated these numbers back to the man to confirm the price before agreeing to have someone sent. When he responded with yes $15 service plus a max of $35 I asked him to send someone. When the man who was sent out to help me could not get in from just trying to simply pick the lock he had to change methods. Before attempting the next method, the man that was sent asked me if I was aware that it would cost about ~$150. I told him that I was not informed that it would cost that much and told him that the man on the phone told me $15 to send someone out and a max of $35 more dependent upon the method. The man helping was very nice, apologized that I was not properly informed of the cost and asked if I wanted to continue and told me we didn't have to try another method. With my wallet and car keys locked in the house I did not really have much of a choice unless I wanted to keep calling around hoping other services were open. I was very unhappy with the misinformation provided to me by the person over the phone, especially since I repeated what I heard him say back and he said yes. I was very appreciative of the man who helped and how friendly he was but I do not think I will be contacting this company if I end up needing a locksmith again.

I’ve known Mikey for years and we’ve always been great friends. The actuator on my car broke and I couldn’t get in my car. Did I mention that my battery in the key fob was dead and the screw was stripped? I didn’t know how I was gona get in my car to go pick my daughters up. I remembered Mikey was a locksmith so I called. He asked where I was, I told him and he showed up about a half to 45 minutes later. I recently moved into a new construction home in Graduate Hospital. The day we moved in, I realized that several different contractors in the city had keys to our place as they had all done work there over the past several months. After a brief panic, I started calling through a list of locksmiths. Most would not give me an approximate estimate over the phone or an appointment anytime soon. I had first called America's Best Locksmith, they sent out a man who identified himself as Eddie with Be Safe Locksmith, and he wanted all my info - license and credit card, and also pay $150, before he had even done anything! He made me feel very uncomfortable.
