Called and spoke with someone on the phone and mistakenly thought I could just drive to their location for assistance, but you have to make an appointment. They waived the on-site visit fee though and sent someone out to my house right away. Doug provided quick courteous service, explained the whole process and was a pleasure to speak with. Definitely recommended.

Nick was great! He showed up earlier than was quoted, was nice and friendly, and got our car unlocked quickly. I have no clue how this place compares to others price-wise ($85), but I would definitely use them again based solely on our interaction with Nick. As a woman, there’s nothing worse than dealing with a sketchy guy when you’re in a compromised situation and I didn’t feel uncomfortable in the slightest.

I would highly recommend. Quicker and more understanding than other locksmiths. Cheaper than the dealerships to cut and program key. Details below. Had an emergency my daughter was locked in a vehicle. I called 3-4 locksmiths before each quoted me over an hour before they could come. 402 quoted me 30 minutes. I told them my 3 year old daughter was in the locked vehicle. They rushed over and arrived in 15 minutes. The van was barely in park when the locksmith hopped out with his tools. Jogged over and immediately got to work. He quickly unlocked the vehicle so I could get my daughter out. The locksmith was very nice and professional. I already had a blank key that had not yet been cut to avoid this situation in the first place. He offered to cut and program the blank. The quote was less than what dealership quoted so I accepted. He cut and programmed a second key to make sure this never happens again.

Started the vehicle so it could warm up. Closed the door and I was locked out. Called a few places and it would be atleast two hours before they could get to me. Called 402 and talked to Isaiah who was really nice over the phone and said he could be there soon. He was there in 20 minutes and got the door open quickly. 1 non emergency hotline call, 2 local tow ing service calls, 4 non local 24 hr tow service calls with no help an or no answer. After all those calls at the point of just walking the 10 miles home with the plan of breaking a window to get inside. Finally did one last call, they answered right away let us know it would be about an hour drive and we’re upfront with the cost $180. They were great got here in no time and extremely helpful. One of the most expensive fishing trips but well worth the money since both my car keys and house keys were locked in my car but the lake. 10/10 recommend and will be the first place I call next time I’m in a jam.

I wish I had caught the name of the lady who helped me on the phone when calling to get services. I locked myself out my car with the car still running. When I called she said they were really booked and there would be about an hour wait. When I informed her my car was running and I was worried about the car dying she managed to squeeze me in and had someone come out to help me in under 20 minutes. It really meant so much to me to be treated kindly and have someone who understood and cared about getting me help. She was an angel to speak with. Isiah promptly came and had me in my car in no time! I hope I never lock myself out of my car again, but if I do, I know I will be looking to 402 Lockout again.

I had an awful moment at 10:30 on a Friday night while on a layover traveling out of state, when I got a message that my pet sitter wasn’t able to open the lockbox to get the keys to my house where she was going to watch my dog. I ended up calling this company in a panic and they were so reassuring! First of all, they did answer the phone, which another 24-hour locksmith did not (I didn’t have time to hope someone might return a message, since my next flight was leaving soon). They asked for some ID and verification that I was the person who should be allowed to authorize them help someone else into my home, which I appreciated. As it turned out my petsitter was eventually able to get the lockbox open and I didn’t need their services, but I would recommend them as a friendly and helpful company.

Called earlier in the day when I was quite upset for stupid little mistake for locking my keys in my car. Called a few places around and 402 Lockout answered immediately and was able to give me the price. One place I called had all these extra fees for setting it up and how far away it was and how much labor would be needed. Just too much work. Isaiah showed up took care of it and brought my keys back up to me. Easy and fast. took them 15 minutes to arrive and took less than 5 minutes to fix. Unfortunate mistake by me but great work from this company. 100% recommend.

UPDATED:. Within minutes of posting my review, my son was contacted by a representative from the company. My son was told a tech would arrive within a half hour. The tech arrived within the allotted time and apologized for the previous problems. He cut and programmed a key within twenty minutes of his arrival. The car was started and good to go. He used good customer service skills to make sure we were satisfied with his work and the company as a whole. While we had a rough start, the experience ended on a very good note. This place is very unprofessional and definitely not a 24 hour business! My son called on Friday evening, took several tries to even get a quote because the guy kept saying he had another call then would disconnect. Finally, get quote and ask for an ETA only to be told he can't do it that night. So make an appointment for 10AM Saturday morning. By 10:15, no one arrived or called, so my son called them. He was told he was busy and would call back in a couple minutes. 15 minutes later we called back again only to be told they can not come until sometime Monday morning.

I called 402 Lockout and the gentleman on the phone said someone would be there within 30-40 minutes. Isaiah showed up right on time, he was polite, professional and got right to work. paid this company to change my locks and they did half the job,but they had my van for three days didn't call to let me know they were not done or anything. so when I went there. they did not change my passager side lock. they told me to come later or they could stop by my place later in the week and fix it. never called or came over. I don't think they will so I call a couple of times and got the run around. Don't bother giving them a good review. cost was okay but the service was a heartbreak.I call again they came out to fix the rest of my van. Nick was very apologetic. Week of being busy.
