I was kind of in a daze when I accidentally locked the door instead of pressing unlocked, but when I called and said that I locked my child in the car, the lady said that it was no charge. I did not understand why there was no charge, but when I googled the reason it stated that pop a lock does not charge when a child is locked in a car. I am so impressed with this kindness and safety of the company. Also, the specialist was super fast coming to help us. Thank you so much for being a great company. I really needed that on that day!

Update: Mr. Paul called and apologized to me for my experience on the dispatch and the driver's behalf. He explained that 25-30 minutes is the standard wait time but the driver isn't always there in that frame. He also refunded a percentage of the fee that I paid for my inconvenience. I'm glad that my situation was resolved and I got answers in case I ever need this service again. Thank you! Original: The first time I called, someone hung up the line. The second time I called, I was answered. The woman was quick to get my info and said someone would arrive in 25-30 minutes and it would be $59.95. 40 minutes go by and I'm like oh gosh where is this guy? The city has been dangerous lately so I'm really nervous. I called back and it took me 2 tries to get someone to answer. When they did the woman said he was another 15 minutes out. Within 10 minutes, the guy called and said he was closeby. Another 15 mins later he finally calls and says he's coming down the road. It was very difficult to get him to me despite giving multiple locations nearby. When he finally actually arrived, he was very curt but thankfully got me into my car. The second I got my alarm to stop blaring, he said "that will be 59.95. Cash or card?" I've never seen someone that was nearly 45 mins late be so rude and abrupt. All in all this was a pretty terrible experience. I got what I needed but at a really high price and terrible service. No one even apologized for my extended wait. I would suggest finding a quicker, and less expensive service

I had a rental car from Enterprise where the tire sensor showed check tire pressure since day 1. Due to the weather change to cold 50° and below I thought it was from the cold temps. I wasted money putting air in the tire, but it slowly leaked out. Well today, I needed to drop off someone in Slidell from Metairie and the tire went down again. I called AAA and I was told 75 mins for assistance. I called my insurance and they sent pop a lock who arrive within 5 minutes ***** 5*s. I was well on my way. He also gave some safety info on riding on the spare. THANKS A BUNCH 💐

While things that Pop-A-Lock asked me in the review seemed important they missed the most important things. Did their tech call in advance of arriving? YES. Did their tech understand the stress I was feeling when I told him that a dog I just adopted was locked in my car? YES! Did he spend time with me and my dog calming me? YES! Was he awesome? Pop a lock came very swiftly today. I was able to get air in my tire and drop it off to the nearest repair location. The only thing I didn't like was that the servicer leaned on my car as the air went in. I don't even lean on my car so that annoyed me. Awesome service. We were a little over 3 hours from home when my vehicle battery died. It was maybe 5 minutes after I filled out the the road side Assistance form on my Stae Farm app and I had already recieved a call for the guy from Pop A Lock. He was here within 20 minutes and had my vehicle jumped off. He was very courteous and we will definitely use them again if we have any other problems

This company was incredible. My partner and I were expecting a 2 hour wait and a $250 charge for a simple lock out because that’s been our experience in the past. I don’t want to knock the service by the technician. He was great, but this is the second time I’ve had to use USAA’s service provider network and was disappointed by the horrible lack of communication. We were in New Orleans to attend a funeral and were packing up beforehand when I accidentally locked my keys in the car. I called USAA and they set everything up for us and we had an ETA of 90 minutes. About 10 minutes after the time was up, I got a text asking me if they had been there and I responded no. My ETA was then adjusted to another 60 minutes and they informed me that pop a lock was the company coming out. I called pop a lock to see what the problem was. She said he was really backed up which was understandable considering how bad things were in New Orleans at the time. I then get a text saying the order was completed. I call back again and my new time is 40 minutes more. She says the tech will call me for a more accurate time. He finally does and says he has 7 in front of me and it may be at least another hour and a half. I explain our predicament and he finally said he’d be there in 20 minutes, which he was. I didn’t have a problem with waiting as it was my fault I locked myself out of our car, but had I known it was going to be almost 3 hours before they arrived I could have arranged for a ride for my family so at least they would get to the funeral on time. Your system is broken if it can’t quote semi accurate service times, or have a system in place to inform your customers when delays will make the wait longer. If you’re loaded up on jobs, the least you can do is inform your customers. Most of us will understand. What we don’t get is over promising and under delivering.

It was raining outside and I place my keys and wallet on the car seat as I put my 15-month old in her car seat. Trying to get her secured quickly to get out of the rain, I stuck my phone in my back pocket, and closed the car door to walk around to the driver’s side. When I reached my driver’s door, it was locked. All the doors were locked. I called in a panic and the woman that answered the phone was nice and helpful. She told me that because there was a child in the car that the closest service person would come straight to me. I was told by Progressive (my insurance provider and how I initiated the call for roadside assistance) it would be 15 minutes, but endd ed up getting a message from Pop-A-Lock that it would be more like 25 minutes. I had to leave it running so I could finish what I was doing inside and when I came out to leave, I noticed he was still sitting there. Could be coincidental but I’m thinking he was making sure nobody ran away with it! 2nd time. Sorry, I didn’t get his name but I had a leak in one of my tires that was losing air really fast and, being an Uber driver, I had rides to finish! I was able to get home safely and got them to come out later that day. He said it just needed a plug and that he could do it right there! So he did and I am able to work tonight. I didn’t know that was possible and I’m so happy! I will use this company every time. I have Roadside Assistance with Progressive Insurance, and locked my keys in my car. The online process could not have been easier! It even allowed me to be able to track the tech, so I could be sure to go out to meet him. The tech was courteous, kind & professional! After he unlocked the car, and was driving away, I discovered I'd left the key turned in auto position, & battery was dead! I hurriedly yelled to him, he stopped & happily gave me a jump! I would refer Pop a Lock, even if not part of a Roadside Assistance program!

I had a rental vehicle and I was loading up my 2-year old in the rental. I started the vehicle and I was putting her bag in the back and closed the hatch and then I heard a click. The rental had allowed it to be locked with the keys inside and my 2 year-old. Immediately I call 9-11 and they recommended me call Pop-A-Lock and they were my next call. In less than 20 min, the NOPD and a rep from Pop-A-Lock were at my home and were able to use their tools to get inside the rental and put the window down so I could retrieve my 2-year old who was not in distress but a little concerned out of the vehicle safe and sound. I returned this rental the same day and got my vehicle back from the car repair shop. My car (BMW X5) does not lock with the keys inside. (Thank Goodness). I offered to pay for the Service, and the technician did not accept payment from me due to it being an emergency. How amazing was that! They did zero damage to the rental and my 2-year old was safe! Thank YOU Pop-A-Lock!

The pop-a-lock rep said he would reach me in 15 min and he arrived when he said he would. I was thrilled since I was in an empty parking lot at almost 10 pm with my two daughters. He was very nice and I could tell he knew his stuff with my “high security” car. (That’s what Triple A called it.) I breathed a huge sigh of relief when he was able to quickly get into my car for me to retrieve my keys.

Pop-A-Lock always provides excellent service. I had locked my keys in my trunk, and I called my roadside assistance. I received a text that they would arrive within 40 minutes. 10 minutes later, Clayton arrived. He was courteous, friendly, and efficient. Quick arrival, got job done quickly. However, not wearing mask or trying to distance. When I offered him a mask in case he forgot his, he said no, it’s hot. I don’t need it. I just answered him, but you’re breathing. I came out of my house wearing a mask and wore it the whole time, protecting him, but he refused to do the same-. He also was condescending and abrupt, not nice or polite at all

Great service, very fast! I lost my keys and it was $100 for them to cut the lock off my public storage unit. My friends think it was over priced but I disagree because of the quality and speed of service. I think it was worth it. Plus, I really needed to get my things out!
