The young fellow Pop a Lock sent out was polite to me and my lady friends, gentle on my Subaru, very fast (less than 90 seconds to pop the lock), and was in frequent communication. He called first to say he would be there as quickly as rush hour would allow, then to let me know he was 5 minutes out, then when he was approaching the parking lot. Very reasonably priced, prompt, would recommend to new customers.

Locked my keys in my car because I'm so smart:) so I called Pop-A-Lock. The technician was great and arrived in the time they said he would. Was very quick and easy to work with. I was a little further out than their normal service area but the price they quoted me on the phone was still the same price they had charged me. Would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of using Pop A Lock's service for my daughters car when the ignition switch had to be replaced. I initially had called one of their competitors who told me the car would have to towed to the dealer. I then called Pop A Lock and they gave me a straight forward quote on two possible scenarios. My luck was it was the more expensive one, but I found the technician to be polite, informative, and did the the job in the time frame he said he would. I was very happy overall with the service.

One early Sunday morning had a ditzy moment and locked my keys in the trunk. I called Pop-A-Lock in a panic - got an answer and service set up right away. They quoted a price on the phone (always appreciate transparency) which was the same or slightly cheaper than what I've experienced before (not my first ditz moment). They expected to reach my location within 20-25 mins. Luckily my husband came home about 5 minutes after I called and unearthed my spare key. I cancelled the service and they very graciously did not charge anything and were very friendly about it, so I consider them customer-oriented and flexible.

My friend and I accidentally locked our keys in the car, which unfortunately had apartment keys on them as well. We called Pop-A-Lock once we reached the apartment (we were trying to locate the apartment manager for assistance, but had no luck), and they informed us that it would cost less to open the car door as opposed to the apartment deadbolt. We were some distance away from the car at this point, and they offered to pick us up at the apartment and drive us to the car. They showed up very quickly, I think we waited less than 15 minutes. I was extremely impressed that they suggested the more inexpensive option. Joe was super nice and dealing with him was a relief after attempting to get service from another locksmith who attempted to overcharge us. Would DEFINITELY recommend this company. They even called to follow up with me on my experience. Very professional, friendly, efficient, reasonable...can't say enough great things! Thank you guys :)

I called Pop-A-Lock after I locked my purse, keys, and spare keys in my vehicle. I had been waiting for another locksmith (at my house) for over an hour. Joe was friendly and polite - he said his guy would be able to make in to me about 30 minutes, and he arrived right on time. He is friendly, professional, courteous and delivered excellent service. Joe shared pricing (wthout my inquiry) and it was exactly what he quoted. Love Pop-a-Lock! They have great service and the owner Mark cares about the business. We needed a lock installed in my office. They came out right away, and with their expert knowledge were able to tell us that we didn't have everything we needed for the type of lock we wanted. They got us the proper lock, installed it and advised us how to utilize it. I like companies that give back to their communities, and Pop- A - Lock does! If your pet or your child happens to get locked in your car, they come out immediately and do not charge for that service because they care about safety! I needed my car door unlocked and a new key fab ordered and programed. Joe was there quickly, and efficiently had the door opened. Simon, the locksmith, came out in the pouring rain to take care of getting the new remote, and had a great attitude about it! The prices were reasonable, and the service was great. I accidentally locked my child inside my car--needless to say, I was rather upset! The police called Pop-A-Lock to have a service technician sent out, and I am grateful that someone was able to be dispatched right away. Unfortunately it was morning rush hour and I was in St Paul, so there was a half hour wait--which is to be expected--it just feels longer with a child in the car! But as soon as the technician arrived, he was able to get the doors unlocked quickly to get my daughter out of the car. He was professional and courteous as well. I had called AAA at the same time as my mom called the police about the situation, and AAA was completely useless. Couldn't even find my account. I am grateful to Pop-A-Lock for coming to our rescue!!! I am very impressed with this life saving service that they are providing free of charge to the community for children locked in cars.

We had a resident in our city that needed a dead bolt lock installed at her home immediately due to some domestic violence. The service we received from Pop A Lock was outstanding all the way from the gal that answered the phone and heard our concerns to the great technician that arrived quickly and got our resident to feel safe! Elijah came out to our locked Prius with no key when other locksmiths had declined (complicated story but trust me, he was the only one who would come out.) He was professional courteous and persistent! When the new fobs wouldn't program through any of the normal methods he did not stop until he had connected us with someone who could finish the task. Really glad I kept the Pop a lock key tag on my key ring. Hopefully I paid forward a good deed that will come back to me someday, as a dry cleaner it never used to be uncommon in the day that someone that locked their keys in their car would come in and ask us for a hanger, I didn't think you could do that anymore but the older cars still have that issue I guess. Well glad to pass on the number and help the guy out, I noticed they came and helped him out really fast.

Had a mother of the year moment when I locked my 3 year old in the car during a snowstorm at Lifetime. Lifetime called the police who in turn called pop a lock. They where there within 30 minutes despite heavy snow (what can I say, my timing is great). It only took a couple minutes and my technician was very nice and efficient. I was eternally grateful to have my daughter safe and sound. The cherry on top: I was not charged a penny since there was a child in danger! A great end to a stressful morning! Thank you Pop A Lock!

Andrei and Elijah came out with the correct key for my 2018 Dodge Challenger and had me on my way quickly. They had to pull the front dash in order to program the new fob and put it back to gather perfectly. The best thing is they were much cheaper than the 5 other places I called. Thank you guys!

When we moved to MN from out out state, I left the old house keys with 2 sets of neighbors, the realtor and a general contractor as our house was for sale. It was nice having people you trusted have keys in case someone needed to get in since we were about 1800 miles away. So...when we purchased our house in MN, what do you think I did for peace of mind? I called Mark at Pop-A-Lock to get our house rekeyed. I didn't want any of the keys the former owners may have given out to gain entry into our house. The locksmith showed up exactly when scheduled, was very polite, and performed the work quickly. We only have one car in our family; a 2003 Ford Focus. It's pretty much run well, but one Friday not too long ago, my husband left work to come home, and the steering wheel was locked up - nothing he could do would budge it. We had experienced it being "unruly" before, but it usually just took patience and jiggling to get it functioning again. Not this time. After doing some research, we learned that this was a common problem with this Ford model but having the car towed to a Ford dealership for them to replace the part with the same faulty mechanism would have cost $700 or more - something we could not afford. Internet sources advised to have a locksmith come out instead, so we tried the locksmith that had serviced my husband's workplace but their schedule was completely full, and it would be until Monday before they could send someone out. I had never heard of Pop-A-Lock before, but someone in one of the internet forums had mentioned they had used them with great success for this problem, so we called the local Pop-A-Lock office. First, I'd like to say - thanks for the key ring. If my keys ever get stolen or lost, they can be placed as-is into any mailbox and returned to me. Prompt, (relatively) cheap, and helpful! The locksmith was a little short with us when he arrived to see us trying to jimmy the lock ourselves, but that's totally understandable. He thought we'd stiff him if we got it unlocked without him. It only took about 45 minutes from when we called to get him out there, and given that we called at 8 am on a Sunday, I say that's darn good service!

I love that they don't allow people hanging out around their store like the liquor store on Broadway and Lyndale. I also love that they allow the cookie guy to sell his cookies there. Basically if your a street person hanging around selling drugs or begging NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
