We’ve just moved into a new home and wanted our front door locks replace so we wanted a local locksmith and we found A Short locksmith who was brilliant from the start sent a email saying what we wanted and got a reply straight away. A young gentleman came out unfortunately I didn’t catch a name but he done a fantastic job and he was very quick and gave advise on our locking system which was very interesting. Helped my neighbor get back into his house. We were only notified of the fee to come out. Cost $200 for them to hop my neighbors patio and than push a tool into the door to open it. Than afterwards the man who did the repair was asking if we could pay in cash instead cause he works off tips? Tips are for going above and beyond with customer service . You don't ask. Good service though.

Recently bought a truck and only had the key with a chip in it. Called dealerships about getting 2 keys with built in fobs (purchased on Amazon) and the prices they gave me were outrageous. Called this locksmith and not only did he cut and program 2 keys for me at 1/3 of what dealerships were asking, he was done in less than 15 minutes. Very friendly as well. Highly recommended and they will get more of my business and friends as well.

Locked keys in Car at Walmart. Googled locksmith. This co. Popped up, called them. They dispatched a tech. Was told about 20 minutes wait but it was about 45. No big deal. Tech was friendly and professional. Did the job very quick. 5 mins. $15 service charge. $55 for the actual service + tax + 3% of total due to using credit card = $78. Was not in a position to shop around for a locksmith. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is bc the tech told me, rather then ask me, he was going to add insurance for the car's computer board to the charge for a few $$'s extra. Well that "few $$'s" was actually $30. Kinda sneaky, didn't appreciate it considering the circumstances I was in. Decline of course. Went about my way. Thank you.

It was ok, but when the guy showed up, he said, "how much did you pay last time you had this done?" Then said $100, which is outrageous for a five minute service. I actually haggled him down to $80. He did get the door open, but it was weird. Next time I'll call popalock. They do it for $65.

Called and was told $45 to re-key commercial lock with a $19 service fee. Agreed and was told he'd be here in 30 minutes. A few minutes later the driver called and confirmed the address, and said he would be here in 15 minutes. Several calls and an hour and a half later he showed up. Told me it would be $120 to re-key, I told him about the previous quote and he said they charge more for businesses (which I told the guy I called originally and he confirmed commercial is $45). I told him nevermind, and he lowered it to $80. Still wasn't happy that they jacked the price at the last minute, but I had to close the office for lunch and needed to get it done so we could leave. Not a very professional way to do business.
