Service was relatively prompt, and locksmith was polite & nice enough; however I was quoted $145 to do a rekey, and when payment time came it was $187. Apparently he didn’t have a part for my Schlage push button lock, so they had to leave and get it...I guess I was charged for him not having the equipment he needed to start with?? In any case, I don’t like feeling as if I’ve been overcharged after a service provider leaves. And to finish off, he basically asked me to leave a stellar review and almost filled in himself, which I’m changing now, as I don’t think the price was fair. At least my locks match now, oh well!

Told them what was wrong, lost my key, needed a new key with transponder cut and programmed called in, arranged visit, 20 mins later locksmith calls, tell me arrival in 25min. On time, at the job finishing in about 5 minutes. paid, accepts cash credit and even company card by calling in. $150 total, and when I asked how much for another blank key cut to be used as a spare he gave me one at no charge. If you’re in a hurry, or value good customer service use this company.

I called this company to get a keyless deadbolt lock installed. They were quick in their response and installed the lock and left after installation and demonstration of its functions. The technician attitude upon arrival was very direct and strictly business. Once I paid for the service he issued a receipt. The receipt doesn’t have the locksmith name or company, just a receipt with a number and the amount paid for the service. I freaked out later when I reviewed the receipt because he had my passcode and did not return my call. GET LOCKSMITH is a company using various locksmiths throughout the Houston area and not associated with the BBB as stated online. If I don’t here from them tomorrow, I will have to call a technician from a reputable company to reprogram the lock, if I’m alive in the morning. Always check out online businesses that you are not familiar with for peace of mind. I’m not saying they are bad because the job was done ASAP. I worried about, what in the hell did I just do. Thanks goodness I used a card, which will protect me from scams but not my life if this tech is a psychopath. Afraid to go to sleep. Wow!

SHAWN is AWESOME!!! There was NO LOCKSMITH that would open our TRUNK to a 2004 Jaguar. Not only did he arrive within 20 minutes, he tried every avenue possible to get into the car. Unfortunately, but fortunately, Jaguar makes their cars impossible to break into. So he could not get the trunk open. However, he was able to order us a key and arrive with it in less than 24 hours. Great customer service. I came in to get a blank transponder key copied and Cheryl made a perfect copy the first attempt for 3 bucks when others told me it would be 55 dollars or more while some would not do it all. I got my new auto transponder key from the internet for 9 bucks , Get Locksmith copied it for 3 and I programmed it myself from a video found on the internet....total cost $11.00! Now I know for next time! A heck of alot better than the $130.00 the dealership charges!!
