Great and fast service! I needed a car key made and had been turned away at two hardware stores as they didn’t have the chip key needed. I brought it to AAA and they not only had the key, it was comparably cheap to Home Depot and Lowe’s! The whole process took less than 10 mins and was about great, they even offered to check it before charging me.

Stop wasting your time at around big brand stores , trying to get safe locks for your cargo van, I know is hard to find good and secure locks, I found this nice place with great coustomer service, after I got break into my work van twice, they recomend me new locks with a cover system that avoids access to the locks. Good prices, and good coustomer service. Thank you.

I Literally called around trying to find reputable locksmiths to make a motorcycle key for me. Either they didn’t do it or they requested that I remove my ignition switch which I didn’t know too. I called AAA locksmith, told them my dilemma and their words were “ no problem, tow the bike here and we’ll take care of you. Very friendly people ! The guy literally came outside with his tools , laid down on the gravel in the Houston heat and got it done in less than 20 minutes !Absolutely blew my mind . Quick and easy service. Paid about a total of $130 to cut and reprogram a pair of Lexus keys. Took about 15 minutes with one person ahead waiting for theirs to be done. They're so laid back one of the girls was just burping out loud several times. Store front looks very clean and organized. I would come back for the quick service and turn around time.

I called on Sunday evening to see if they could do repair work on Monday morning, and they did it promptly and had great prices and quality service. Scott took the call and said he would call me on Monday at 9 am with a time for the technician to show up, and at 9 sharp he did indeed call me and let me know that Jason was on his way. Additionally, Jason got there within 15 as Scott had estimated, and Jason was fast, friendly, and an expert. We had to have new keys made for the two locks on the back of our RV storage area. It was important that this be done ASAP as we were selling our RV that afternoon, and the locks not working would have possibly made the perspective new owners not want to purchase it. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla. I lost a key to my car, but I had a backup. I called my Toyota Dealer, and they informed me that I would need to make an appointment to have the key done, and it would cost me almost $200. I called my wonderful mechanic, Zographos Motors, and I was referred to AAA Locksmith. Since I had a backup key, I drove right over, they completed the work in about 20 minutes, and it cost me $70 for a good, functioning key. Great work, and quick. Made my day.

So I had a previously bad experience with a locksmith company that literally bamboozled me and then made my lock worse. So I called aaa I was apprehensive and initially not very friendly because I had a bad taste in my mouth towards all locksmiths based on my previous experience. To make a long story short the lady that answered was very helpful, not only did she fix my lock but she gave me a very great discount just out of the kindness of her heart and because I had just spent so much money with the previous disreputable company. Locksmith is awesome and knows his craft. Was able to cut a key for a motorcycle by just looking down the ignition switch with a magnifier and guessed the pin sizes. Got it on the first try. Never seen anything like that before, and it saved me a trip to the dealership for a whole new ignition, gas cap and seat latch. Recommend you try this place for all of your locksmith needs.

Let me tell you I tried to deal with two companies before AAA locksmith , Other companies does not give you a firm price of the work and thats where the problem starts. One they get to you they make all can of ridiculous statements and suddenly price goes way above everybody else and if you dont like it they get really rude and tried to charge you a service charge. AAA locksmith gave a price over the phone they stick with it and they did a great job. So if you want to save time and money. They gave me the best price and was great service.

March 31, 2015 - I went by AAA Locksmith this morning to get replacement keys made for my 2007 Ford F-150. I purchased replacement keys on the internet that have the remote buttons integrated into the key, but I needed to have the keys cut and have the transponder chip in the key "matched" to the vehicle. Both keys were cut and matched to the vehicle in about 15 minutes. The price was $80 which might sound high for having two keys cut, but these keys also have to be matched to the car using an expensive specialized computer that plugs into the diagnostic port under the steering wheel. Getting this done at a dealer would have been more expensive and less convenient. Both keys work flawlessly. I would definitely use their services again.

Every place I found contracts out their locksmiths, so there is no telling who you could get. It could be a convict for all you know. AAA sends W2 employees out to service your locks. I wanted to pass on the HIGHEST compliment to AAA Locksmith! A few weeks ago, I came to Houston to assist my parents who are in their 80's and need supplemental care. When I arrived, it was obvious to me that there were too many keys & locks, and given their advanced age, they may not be able to remember which key opens which door. I called another locksmith before contacting AAA Locksmith, and the first locksmith was unable to arrive on the day I requested, and failed to follow-up to reschedule a new appointment. Because I was in a time crunch (trying to get a locksmith in between doctor appointments), I called AAA Locksmith and requested a short notice appointment. The locksmith arrived on the day & time specified. He listened carefully to what I was attempting to do-- replace 6 deadbolts, install 3 new doorknobs, replace cylinder in garage door lock, ALL keyed alike. It was a big job, and the locksmith had a few ideas of his own to make things easier for my aging parents. I could not stay the entire time the locksmith was at work, but he was careful to make sure enough keys were made, the keys were given to the right person when he was done (me), the bill was paid by the right person (me). The job was completed exactly as we discussed, and it was completed with high quality parts. All the keys worked in all the locks (unlike some keys copied at 'do-it-yourself' centers), and all the locks & door knobs worked flawlessly. The job was not cheap, but it was money well spent for quality & timely work. The locksmith was sensitive to working around elderly customers and was extremely trustworthy. Thanks to AAA Locksmith for making this job an easy one for me & my family!!

As the technical manager for AAA Locksmith I would like to address a couple of reviews here that are misleading. First, it is not our policy to try to quote a price on a job for which we have no service tech available. I have spoken to the dispatch manager and she told me that she was firm but not rude with the reviewer who made this claim. He was the party that was becoming rude. Demanding that she try to quote him a price. As a matter of policy, we try not to guess at prices over the phone anyway! This is extremely inaccurate, unless the customer is a lock expert and can provide us with a detailed analysis of the problem! As to the price being quoted by Walmart and Home Depot for transponder keys. These keys are either clones or do not have a transponder chip at all. Either of these cases could result in a lower price. It does not reflect any crookedness on the part of the owning manager of AAA Locksmith. There are MANY variables which affect car key prices! Modern car keys are very complicated and come in a variety of configurations for each and every model! Some have remote buttons, some not, some require expensive programming codes, etc. Never the less, I can tell you that I have serviced MANY car ignitions in the parking lots of said stores because a key became jammed! As a customer, if one is looking for the "cheapest" price, then be prepared to be ripped off monetarily and to have poor work standards applied to your particular job. Nothing good is cheap. Nothing cheap is good. Simple. Which leads me to address Mr. McFather. This gentleman called from out of town and claimed that I told him that he could not afford to speak to me. That is in fact not accurate. This man was in the business of selling unprogrammed car keys over the internet and wanted to hire me, the real local Houston Locksmith, to go out and program the keys. After ascertaining what he was accustomed to paying a real local Bellaire Locksmith to go and program keys that he mailed from out of town to his clients, I told him that that fee was not enough to pay for the conversation that we just had. This man is paying real local Houston locksmiths a mere "$50.00-$80.00" to go out and program keys to sophisticated automobiles. This is ludicrous from a service provider standpoint and it is unfortunate that some gentlemen will do this for him. The machines that are required to perform this task cost upwards to $6,000.00 and require annual fees of several thousands to maintain, not to mention the very high expense of vehicle maintenance, fuel, etc. Furthermore, a part of the necessary profit that a real local locksmith earns is derived from selling the key to his local client. By selling the key from out of town, This "key seller" is denying the local Sugar Land locksmith that portion of his necessary profit, which adds insult to the injury of his slave wage fee. By selling car keys cheaply over the internet, he also causes the client to falsely assume that today's sophisticated car keys are cheap. There is no way to avoid the expense of replacing lost keys! This out of town internet key seller is simply not assuming the responsibility of the total cost of providing the complete service.
