Only place for miles that could cut a duplicate copy for my Peterbilt truck. Even the Peterbilt dealership couldn't do it. And they cut a VW key for my son as well. We were done in about 10 minutes. Definitely will use them again!

I read the reviews for this business which is what led me to go there to have a spare key made and programmed for my car. While I waited, I overheard the staff mention that the fob was not fitting properly and the other staff respond “that’s ok, they may never use it”. I later asked the staff if there was an issue with the key not fitting. He denied this saying “no, it’ll be ok”. I went home and tried the spare key. The spare key got stuck in the slot as it was slightly larger than the original. It took 10-15 minutes to get the key out. I brought it back to the store. The owner, in an angry tone, asked me why did I use the key. I maintained my cool and politely asked for a refund. I pointed out the size of the key not matching my key. He then offered to order the smaller key that may fit my car and call me when it arrives. He told me to hold on to the spare and we could swap when it arrives. I declined, requested a refund and asked to be called. I was disappointed in the way I was treated and that they knowingly sold me a key that did not fit. The 3 star rating is generous because the price for the key was far less than dealership prices. Not sure if anyone else was treated this way by them but truly disappointed!!!!

This place is outstanding. I have had problems with the keys of my 2010 Accord falling apart for years including two sets from the OEM that quickly disintegrated. I was ready to eat another $400 + for new keys as the existing ones were being held together with duct tape. The quickly pointed me in the direction of allowing them to rebuild the saving me a ton of money, 2 rebuilts were less then 1 new key and it was done while I waited in less than 30 minutes. These will be my source for anything key or lock related in the future.

Love that place and those guys. My wife lost her bunch of keys 4 years ago. So we have had just one key per car which made life very difficult with 4 kids. Stumbled unto locksmiths on Google by accident and wasn't sure what would happen. Got there these guys got me keys cut, programmed even remotes at prices you would lose your mind compared to a dealer.. Thanks Locksmiths....🙃🥰

Broke the key off in the ignition of my 73 MG. Able to start the car with the nub of the broken key. Brought it to their shop. Had the broken piece out in under 10 seconds. New key cut from the 2 pieces of old key in under a minute. Back on the road in less than 5 minutes after arriving. Cut a spare key as well. Very reasonable fee. EXTREMELY PLEASED

Came in 30 mins before they closed to get a 2012 Acura TSX key cut, the gentlemen greeted me and had to make an important phone call which was no problem to me. He called another man over and he assisted in cutting the key, something happened to the machine and I began to panic slightly all they while they both remained calm and courteous towards me. After they fixed the machine and my key, they told me they’d be able to program it there as well, which was a huge relief because Acura would’ve charged me an hours worth of labor for 120. I saved at least $300 by not going to acura and coming to these awesome guys. After reading their reviews i figured this was the best place for me to spend my money. I told my best friend get her spare key from here and my mom. I would highly recommend this locksmith, they got me out of there in roughly 20 mins. And saved me hundreds, Thanks guys !!!

Great serves, over the last 5 years I have used the Locksmith Center to help me re-key locks and install new dead bolts at many different locations I take care of. I have never once had to ask them to come back to fix anything they did. Every job they do professional and done right the first time. Great experience there this morning. Provided and programmed keys (with chips) for a Nissan Sentra and remote door opener. They were very helpful and straight forward in providing information about different options available and getting the work done. It is the only place in the West Hartford/Hartford area to get automotive or home lock work done!
