When I tell you this is the best company out there I mean it’s the best company! Called them as soon as they opened had someone headed my way made the 30 minute drive got my car opened up in 2 minutes! If you’re thinking about going to anyone else stop thinking give this company your business!

Short Version: RECOMMEND! Very quick service, quote was immediate upon calling and explaining the issue, prices were reasonable compared to competitors! Super friendly staff! Love Angie at the front desk and Sam who came to help with my car! So kind! Long Version: I recommend this place to any and everyone needing locksmith assistance! They helped me get a new key fob and programming for my car that had been out of commission for 3 days!! I am due with my 5th baby any day, they were urgent, understanding, I could tell I was talking to a human being and not just someone who was looking to make a quick buck. I was impressed with the quote and knowledge that Angie at the desk had for me. As someone who is not familiar with cars, she was patient and had no issues explaining things outright for me, no matter how silly my questions were. I genuinely LOVE this place and everyone I was blessed to work with to get me back on the road and get the car prepped for baby. Should I EVER need locksmith assistance, or anyone I know, for that matter, I WILL be calling Angie. Probably send them a pic of the baby, too 😉

I called 515 locksmith to help me unlock my car (I left my keys in the car) and less than 45 minutes Sammy showed up ! It took him 2 minutes to open my car lol ! We contacted 515 Locksmith to change the locks for our new home. Hector and Angie were here on time and were so quick, knowledgeable and affordable. We all became fast friends, they are seriously the most wonderful people! Fast forward a few months and we were locked out of our home...long story. We called them at 8pm on a Saturday. They were out with their family and dropped everything and came to rescue us! We have been so blessed to have found them and they are definitely one of the best people we have met. They have been a bright light in a crazy 2020!

515 is amazing! They quoted me a price immediately, was very friendly and professional on the phone. Their prices aren’t bad at all, very fair. They were very fast and came within half an hour. After arriving it took them only 25 minutes to assess the issue and get my car unlocked. Then when I realized my battery was dead, they even jumped my car with their battery back. They gave some advice, explained everything to me that I would need to know to take it in to get seen as they think the linkage in my door is broken. Best unlock service I’ve ever encountered in my life. My husband and I definitely recommend them and will use them again if we ever need a car unlocked again. Super nice people and super fast and super prices!

We needed a deadbolt installed on one of our doors, so we emailed 515 Locksmith on a Sunday evening. That same day, Angie responded with a quote and description of services. They came out on Monday to do a free consultation in our home, and then installed the very next day! They were on time and Hector did the work quickly! They both have wonderful personalities and put a lot of effort into their work! Hector even changed out our screws in a different door to be 4" screws since the door only had 1 or 2" ones for free! Seriously, they go above and beyond and are wonderful people! Highly recommended! We'd use their services again. Thank you both!! :)

I bought a used car that did not have the original key fob. Some buttons didn't work and I didn't have a spare. I ordered a new (correct) key fob- 515 locksmith programmed it beautifully, made sure everything worked, and even cut the door key of the new fob as well as the old one! Excellent service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I do not have enough good things to say!!! From the first phone call to the rekeying of 5 locks, expectations were exceeded. My experience was every bit as good as the online reviews indicate. They were prompt, professional, personable and clearly knew their business while doing it all at a very reasonable price. However, when I locked myself out of my newly keyed house at 10 o’clock that same night, that is when they showed what truly nice and generous people they are. They took my call and within minutes drove across town to make sure that I could get in my house yet that night. Somehow, despite the fact that they were just returning to their home from a long days work, they could not have been nicer about the entire thing. They refused to accept payment for this additional late night service while joking that they were also giving me “an additional 7th lucky key.” Who does that these days? There is no question that I would have given them 5 stars and a glowing review even before I locked myself out but if you want to do business with good people who will provide excellent service then I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Accurate with the time that they estimate to arrive (and quick to respond), arrival in a very professional vehicle with modern, first class equipment; a fair estimate of the costs with honest options; also educates you about lock options and things that you don't normally think about. I locked myself out of my bedroom (it has a keyed lock) last week and after more than half an hour of trying to pick the lock myself I finally decided to call a professional. The husband/wife team that runs 515 Locksmith arrived at my house in less than 15 minutes. They weren't the first people I called, but they are the only ones who answered when I did (it was after 8 pm). Over the phone, Angie gave me an accurate ETA as well as a price for service (which I felt was more than reasonable). They got my door open quickly, without doing any damage to it or my lock, and they charged me exactly what they said they would over the phone. Hector and Angie were prompt and friendly and I would highly recommend them any time you need a locksmith.

It even required some creative thinking on their part to get our garage unlocked for us, but they weren't phased at all by it. As if having to drive a rental due to a recent car accident isn’t stressful enough, I locked myself out of my house the other night – I grabbed the rental car key but not my house keys and as soon as I shut the door, I knew what I had done. I have 7 copies of my key distributed among friends and family members but after many frantic calls, no one could remember where their copy was other than one guy who was out of state for work. I tried a few possible options to enter my house but it just wasn’t going to happen without causing some serious damage. I went to Google and searched for a locksmith who was available at 9pm on a Friday night. There are a few options in town so I read through some reviews and decided to call 515 Locksmith. I could not have made a better decision considering the miserable predicament I had got myself into. Angie was very kind and professional on the phone – she even encouraged me to call around to other locksmiths if I wanted to but stated they were only about 10 minutes away so it would be very convenient for them to head on over. I decided to enlist their services and it seemed like they pulled in moments after our call ended. Hector and Angie went through the motions to unlock my door swiftly and without any damage or scratches. They got along very well as he was training her on the process. He said he wants her to be able to help people in the event he is occupied with another task. I get pretty emotional and stressed out in these kind of situations but I was put at ease talking with them and ended up thankful to have met these guys. I offered my debit card right away but they wanted to be sure the service was completed satisfactorily before accepting payment. When they were done, I told them that I hope to see them again but not under these circumstances! I do 100% recommend contacting them if you ever need a locksmith.

I was having a rough night and after the gym I realized I left my keys in my truck and somehow locked them in. It was 10:30 at night and these guys were the only ones who picked up. Despite me not having I.D or other things to verify myself they were willing to go through other channels and accommodate me. Very nice, extremely helpful, and affordable. I would 100% recommend Angie and Hector for all your locking needs. I work at a non profit business who works with low income families. We had a homeless gal at our business that was living out of her car who locked her keys in our parking lot. After trying for an hour to get it opened ourselves, we called a few companies. Hector and Angie came within 3 minutes. They are kind and professional. They were understanding of the gals situation of having limited income, they even unlocked her car for free! Hector and Angie also are very involved in the community and help as much as they can. Des Moines is so lucky to having such giving people, they deserve your business!

Amazing service! I locked my keys in my truck this afternoon. I knew it the moment that the door slammed shut. I called 515 Locksmith and they said that they would be there in 15 minutes. I figured that 15 minutes was a little optimistic. To my delight they arrived right on time. It took a couple of attempts to get the door open, but it didn't take long and the door was open. Locking keys in a vehicle isn't a cheap mistake and it isn't any fun. If you do it, I don't think you can find nicer people to help get you rolling again.

Got in touch with 515 locksmith for my range rover supercharged. I spoke with multiple ppl in town and no one wanted to program a key for my range rover besides 515 lock smith or willis. With a new key fob and programming willis auto wanted to charge me $600!! I ended up buying a key fob off of amazon and had 515 come out and program me for a quarter of the price of willis. I scheduled an appointment with them and they came to my downtown apartment and had my key programmed in less than 5 minutes. I am not exaggerating, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! They were my lifesavers, as my car will not run unless it recognizes a smart key is in the vehicle. I could not reccomend them enough. Thank you for taking care of me 515. I will always go through you guys for my locksmithing needs.

Friday was a bad experience with.... Fast forward to Monday 8-9-21, Owner, Wife and 16 year old son came out greeted me checked my car key it didn't work at 1st he then hooked up an additional machine which I don't think he had too do but he did anyways, it was 90 degrees outside and he stayed a whole hour and some until my problem was solved.... I will never Not call these guys if I run into a problem again and I most definitely will be referring them to anyone who needs it.

They were so helpful! I locked my keys in the car, again. With my cellphone, so could not reach anyone to help. Went to a nearby office to call a locksmith, the first one told me they could not come for hours, they recommended 515. 515 was on the spot. Although, I was able to get into the car, before they arrived, I offered to pay them for the quick response. They declined to let me pay. Real professionals. I am putting them on my speed dial!

I just bought a new house. When I did so, all the locks had different keys and I only received keys for one of them. I was going to disassemble the locks and take them somewhere to be rekeyed, but alas I had no idea how to remove one of them and gave up - decided it was time to call the professionals. It was later in the day, maybe around 730-8 when I decided it wasn't something I could handle and started calling around to get prices. When I called 515, they were courteous and professional and explained their process. I decided to give it a go, and Angie looked up my address and told me exactly how long until they could be there; she was right on the money. Upon further inspection, the locks were more complicated than they initially thought as well as some other issues that arose and it took them some extra time. They kept with the original quote and were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. If I ever have to call a locksmith again, they have certainly earned my business.

515 Locksmith was amazing! My family locked ourselves out of our house, no car keys. 515 Locksmith was at our house in ten minutes as promised and had the lock open in no time. They also gave us an impromptu mini class on our house locks and things to look for if we ever lock ourselves out of the car and have to call a locksmith. Hector is incredibly friendly, polite and informed about his business. I did not catch the woman's name but she was also very professional, friendly and polite. Totally recommend them for locksmith needs.
