Had to get a new keyfob for my subaru. So i called set up a time to have the tech come out and even showed up early and only took him barely 10 minutes to set the new keyfob for my car 10/10 would recomend for getting a new fob.

When I called Red Rocks Locksmith here in Denver, I was extremely frustrated. The key fob would not open the doors to my car. I still had a key to get in and drive so my call wasn't urgent. Nevertheless they sent Josh to make a replacement for the fob. Josh showed up within the hour and proceeded to make the fob and program it. It was at the time of programming that a problem arose. Josh repeated the programming without success. He called an associate with the company to troubleshoot the problem. It was determined that the problem wasn't with the fob at all Josh explained it was probably a fuse or the unit that receives the signal that was at fault. Josh was helpful, curteous and and knowledgeable. I appreciated his contacting a co-worker when he needed another opinion. It is a sign of a true professional in my book. Not only did this company have the fob in stock but the price quote was extremely reasonable. The dealership said that they could order one but it could take up to a week or more and quoted $350!! I highly recommend this locksmith service for their professionalism and ethical service. Josh was helpful above and beyond what I expected. Josh, you're the best. Thank you so much. "Be well".

I am a man of my word and as I told the tech, here is my 4-star review. I feel it should be 0 stars after this experience. Already feeling down from the attempted theft of my money maker (I'm an Uber driver), and feeling like I got bamboozled stings even more. TL:DR - They have a service call fee - you might not be told up front. Expected a parts and labor quote before doing the work; was sadly mistaken and work was done. Left with a labor/service fee cost that was almost 50% more than the dealer would have charged me and feeling like I was bamboozled fool instead of a customer. Here's the long version: Originally called Mike Locksmith Westminster, but I found out after I got the bill they are owned by these guys. Was also never told up front about a $59.99 service call fee, and feel I was overcharged for the labor by quite a bit. As I told the manager on the phone, I think the price for the parts was probably reasonable. I was told they charged me $280 for a part, and after the fact, I've found that you can get for $239 from the dealer; a reasonable markup especially considering they probably paid sales tax on top of the $239. However, they charged me a total of $420 in labor and service fees for what amounted to maybe 15-20 min of on-site work at most when the dealer quoted $270 when I called them after this awful experience. Be careful as not all of their techs seem to be knowledgeable of company policies regarding being up front with service fees for just showing up. As I told the tech, the car obviously didn't get stolen at Denver Health when the thief who drilled a hole in my lock realized it was a stick shift so I had time to get it fixed, but apparently that doesn't matter, and he did the work before even giving me a final quote which I would have expected after the scope of the job was assessed. It felt as if the manager thought it was my fault that I was confused at first that these two companies were actually one company, and also it felt as though she thought it was my fault I was especially irritated and confused after being told a specific manager would call back only to be told by the technician the manager told her that I wanted to speak to him. It felt like the more I got bounced around, the more scammy it all felt especially considering what feels like an overbloated labor cost which seems to be confirmed since an official Hyundai dealer has quoted significantly less.

Josh just helped me out big time! After 2 weeks of not being able to find our key, I called Red Rocks Locksmith to see if they could cut me a new key. Josh came out and scanned my VIN, pulling up the factory key code and cut me a new key on the spot, unfortunately this did not fix the issue at first, turns out our ignition cylinder had worn out over the years (this is a problem I was aware of and knew would need replaced sooner than later, the old key would have trouble starting the car from time to time) LUCKILY Josh had one with him and swapped it out pretty quickly. He then cut me 2 NEW KEYS for the new cylinder he installed. In conclusion, these guys not only got me a key, they fixed my ignition problem too! This message is for hever. I’m from Sidney Nebraska and I had a unique european style key for a Ford transit van. I happened to break it and needed a new one. I’m a contractor so I couldn’t be without my work vehicle or lose to many days waiting for it. I called numerous dealerships in town none of which had the key but Phil longs Ford of Denver’s parts manager turned me onto red rocks locksmith. They turned out to have my key and could cut it. I’m mentioning hever because he was the locksmith I dealt with and he told me straight to my face that without the van he couldn’t 100% guarantee that it would work. I told him I just had to rent and car and drive three hours to find this key I’m betting on you. So he cut the key programmed the fab and said I think it’s going to work. So here I am to tell hever and everyone else this guy made it happen I got back home at 9:00pm put the key in the van and started it. These guys know what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone. It didn’t take him more than a half hour or less. Thanks again red rocks locksmith.

Someone broke into my truck last night. They tore up my ignition switch coil whatever it's called and I had to replace it. I didn't know my key had to be programmed. I called multiple places and they asked for pictures and I explained to them my truck would crank but not start and I just needed to program my key. One place told me I had to replace the entire housing and that my key does not have a chip when it clearly did and he insisted it didn't and told me to call somewhere else.. Others didn't respond back when I told them what I needed. One place wanted to charge me $350 and I saw on their website that they can do exactly as I NEEDED for much less. They did not want to listen to me. I got in touch with Red Rock locksmith through the Denver locksmith website. Red Rock locksmith responded quickly and solved my issue with in minutes for a very reasonable price. I'm very satisfied with the service and would recommend to anyone who needs help.

Oren came to fix the lock on the door at my daughters room in the house she's renting in Boulder. We were in a time crunch and they were able to come about 2 hours after I called, luckily they were already in Boulder.
