Derek was awesome. I had an incredible experience with this company. I started my car to warm it up for my mom. We had a 5 hour trip back home on black Friday. I accidentally locked my keys in my car. Snap & Crack was there within 20 minutes. My car was unlocked in 5 seconds and the price was reasonable.

I looked for a locksmith near me, but all had less than stellar ratings. I came across Snap & Crack and their reviews were good so I made the drive across town. I’m glad I did! They were extremely friendly and were able to get the key code for our recently purchased used car and fix the keys we had been given. We were there less than 20min. They went out of their way to do it the way that would cost us the least amount of money. I live in Dublin and will definitely drive to Whitehall any time I need lock service.

We just moved into our condo and to get in, we put in a code to unlock the deadbolt but didn’t get a key to the door knob itself. I knew I needed to change out the lock in case of situations like this but we got locked out today. we called at 5pm and Gil from Snap and Crack was able to come, get us into our home AND make two new keys by 6pm! Super thankful. The price was reasonable for very short notice and quick service. Would highly recommend!

A non emergent job (2 old deadbolt locks that were “fussy” with age). Regardless, they offered same day service (settled on next day due to scheduling conflict). Kudos to our technician, Derek. Absolutely amazing. I asked them to come out because I had locked my keys in my car whilst trying to run in my house quickly. I have AAA but found out my membership had been cancelled without my knowledge. Thomas from Snap and Crack came quicker than anyone from AAA or another locksmith company has ever come to help. He fixed my problem within minutes and was incredibly kind and understanding the whole time. And the price for a lockout was honestly way less than I was expecting. I don't think I'll ever use another place again.

I was in Columbus to help my daughter pack for her move to Denver, Colorado. My daughter didn't want me doing any lifting, so she packed a number of things in my car for me. I stayed the rest of the day to do the final cleaning of the house she was renting. My daughter called me from St. Louis, where she was stopping for the night, when she realized she had my car keys in her purse. She was determined to turn around and drive the keys back to Columbus, which would have added 12 hours to her trip. Instead, she made arrangements for Snap and Crack Locksmith to come out and make a key for my car. They arrived within a half-hour of her call and the key was made and ready for me to use within 20 minutes. Jeff was the locksmith who came out and he couldn't have been more professional, efficient or kinder. I was able to be back on the road, heading to Cincinnati, within an hour. I recommend Snap and Crack Locksmith unconditionally!

Needed a new key fob for my Ford fusion. Found this place on a quick Google search and was the most highly rated place I could find. I called them, they were very quick at giving me a quote and the address. Got to the building and was greeted with the most enthusiasm I've seen in a while. Super Fast. I called initially at 1:10 pm. The guy got here in like 30 minutes and was done in less than 20 minutes. My whole service was done by 2:05 pm. I had them come out cause I lost the transponder key that starts the car. All I had was a metal key that opened the door but doesn't start the car. They made my first key for about the same price as other locksmiths that I called, but gave me a deal on the second key. Derek was the tech that came and like I said, he was super fast and a nice dude. Replacing car keys is an expensive thing to do. These guys gave me GOOD service at a little bit of a better price than the other places.

Wasn't sure they were going to be open and was worried there wouldn't be enough time to copy two laser cut transponder keys and reprogram two new fobs. On October 2nd of this year, I had the pleasure to do business with this company for the first time. I had called this company to have several door locks adjusted which were jammed from weather induced moisture with lock bolts and improper aligned hinges in doors. Jeanna, the customer service representative was pleasant and she had arranged to have technician, Alex to come out the next day. Alex was prompt for his appointment and he was outstanding in correcting the problem. He was professional and he came to house dressed in uniform, and he showed proper ID and most of all, he was very knowledgeable and efficient in solving the problem. The cost of the repair was very reasonable in comparison to other similar companies. I would definitely recommend this company, the customer service is outstanding and the quality of work provided is excellent!

I had another company come out before this. And the employee was incredibly rude. And was pretending that he was trying to unlock the door and he clearly wasn’t. Then he tried to get me to spend a lot more money so we could drill through the mechanism and have to replace the whole thing. I know better so I told him I’d like him to leave. And then I had to find another Locksmith. Thankfully I found, Found Snap & Crack Locksmiths they arrived when I was told they would arrive. They text me ahead of time to let you know their ETA. The gentleman was very professional and friendly. Before I could even walk up onto my porch he already had the problem solved. Well definitely recommend this company to friends.

I have a very old house and the front door lock was several decades old and becoming unreliable (the tongue of the assembly did not always snap back). Snap & Crack picked up the lock from my home, rehabilitated it so it worked well again, and came to my home and re-installed it for $110. I was amazed that they could fix it (as opposed to requiring a new lock that probably would not fit over the area the old assembly covered). I was also amazed at the price considering it included coming to our home to remove the lock, rehabilitating the lock, and coming to our house again to re-install it. Bravo on a job well done!

Lost my keys in a store and they came and were pretty quick with making a new key for my car. Only thing is when they put everything on the wheel back something wasn’t put back right bc now it’s a knocking sound when I turn.
