Let me start by saying 5 Stars is not nearly enough. Recently my husband lost the only set of keys to my 2012 Mazda 3. We spent 3 days dealing with so-called Locksmiths that said they could fix it and we're on the way and never showed up or others said it would take a week or more. While calling through every locksmith (and car dealership) in Columbus I finally got to my savior, 844 Ohio Key. The locksmith arrived on time, was clean, friendly and very professional. When the key(s) he had wouldn't work he called his contacts and found a manufacturers key, drove 45 minutes (round trip) to pick it up and bring it back, then program it to my car. All for no additional cost. I really can't thank him enough. If you need a locksmith that is dependable and honest this is the place to call.

The owner is very friendly and helpful! His prices are the best in town and he even said he’d match a lower price if I did find one. He programmed an aftermarket key fob for my car and checked if they were working before charging me in case they were bad. One of the two keys from Amazon didn’t sync up properly but the other did, he was willing to let me return the one that didn’t work and will reprogram again when I get another working one! Would HIGHLY recommend this guy for any services!

I highly recommend 844 Ohio Key. Our daughter lost her car keys and we couldn't find the second set, so we needed a locksmith the make a new set. Shai was professional, knowledgable and very straight forward with what would need done. I did my own research and found that locksmiths often have to contact Ford with the VIN# to get key schematics, which is an added cost. Shai told us upfront that this could happen, so we wouldn't be surprised, and even put the cost on the quote. For me that spoke volumes about his integrity.

My car was stolen and the key was stolen along with it. I found two lock smiths who guaranteed they could have the key to my Jaguar done and weren’t able to. I tried my “ third time is a charm “ luck and I got lucky. I reached out and the communication was fast and very simple. Shi drove to my vehicle and had the work done in a very reasonable time. The Jaguar dealership had a one month turn around and 844 has a 4 hour turn around. I was able to get a replacement key yo my car 3k less then the dealership and faster. I really loved the service and they were able to copy the key I had in about 25 mins or less which was awesome. They also take payment using square app which is nice for privacy you hold the card the whole time. So happy with them, the key works great and runs the car. They even wrote the keypad code for me for the door on the invoice. Amazing! I use them for all my keys.
