I emailed ahead to inquire about a “hard to get” European chip key made. Quick, positive responses to all my questions. Then , over a month later, I stopped in over to set up an appointment. No need to, they had the blank in stock & cut/programmed a new key on the spot. Way cheaper than the car dealerships. Super clean restroom and waiting area. Thanks.

Had These guys install new locks at my company about a year ago. The process was made so easy by Flip and his crew. They showed up promptly and did an outstanding job. Since then, I've been back to the Cayce location twice to have house and car keys made. Every time Flip has been great to deal with. Cannot recommend enough!! I lost my keys this weekend, and Chris came out to my house and helped me unlock my car and made me new keys on site. He was super nice and helpful, and the service was fast. Today I am at the Cayce location getting a new key fob and they are amazing too. If you get locked out, these folks are the best!!

My daughter only had one key fob to her 2016 Mustang, and we wanted to get another one. To give you some background, we initially tried a different locksmith - he couldn't get a new key fob to work, and he also broke a piece off the door. We then took the car to Ford, and they couldn't get it to work. The key fobs were on backorder. I called Flip, he ordered the key fob, called me when it was in, and we were in and out of there in 30 mins. He gave me the best price as well. I wish I would have known about them to begin with, and it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble. I highly recommend them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

My visit to Cayce's Modern Locksmith location on Knox Abbott Drive was great! A new to me vehicle: got a key, key fob remote and - a quick fix to a loose rod for the trunk key opening. That last part was done spontaneously and with cheerfulness and no cost. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. All phases were clearly explained to me. I called Modern Locksmith to inquire about re-keying 3 of our doors, since they all had different keys and we wanted one key that worked for all of them. They were able to come out the next day and Eric came out to help. He was so friendly and even informed us that we could save money by matching all the doors to an existing key versus getting them all keyed to a brand new key. I love that he helped us save money! Not many companies would do that. Eric was great and we chatted the entire time he worked. Everything completed within about 45 minutes! We will definitely be using Modern Locksmith again in the future.

Came home from work and neighbor had someone in yard at 10 pm called to see if they had anyone on our road at that time of night and was told couldn't tell me that. Then asked if it's normal for when you ask what they are doing and not respond even after letting them know I called Lexington County. This family house burned down few weeks ago and nobody has been over here in a week or so. Also asked was it normal for them to come out that late without someone being there. Lady on phone would not answer anything. I've never seen a lock Smith come out that late without anyone to receive new key. Can anyone answer these very simple questions? I don't want to waste Lexington County time but this family don't need to deal with anything else.

This was by far the best customer service experience I’ve had. My daughter had been hospitalized and did not have any of her personal belongings-keys, ID, phone-when she was discharged. Eric waited patiently for her to arrive at her house, had her in quickly, allowed her to go in for verification that it was in fact her home, and then allowed her to use his phone to reach out to me to let me know she was safe and get payment info by phone. As a mother, I couldn’t have asked for better care of my daughter. Thank you for your service.

After realizing we needed an extra key fob for each of our vehicle we contacted the dealership and quickly became aware we may just need to hold very tight to our key rings. Then we heard a commercial on the radio and gave them a call. They had both key fobs for next day programming and we didn't have to take out a loan to get them, one vehicle is keyless start ; it was slightly more. The process took about 10 minutes, and because I was curious, I watched and had the best conversation with Flip! The newer Cayce location was so convenient. Definitely my new go to! Thanks so much for the friendly people, it's sometime hard to come by these days.

Just stopped to get commercial keys copied. Amy and Guy are amazing! Top notch customer service. The Modern Locksmith has great prices and fast turn-around. They have multiple add on products as well, such as key identifiers, key rings, organizing tabs, light up keys, custom keys, and more. I had my remote control battery replaced at their other location and was able to get my car key replaced without paying dealership prices. They can also assist with commercial key fobs for office buildings and provide 24 hour locksmith services.
